“TL;DR, lots of great menu items for a diverse range of tastes. Desserts are great. Excellent choice for a night out amongst beautiful grown folks. They got vegan oxtail!

First, let me say that it's always a vibe here. The decor is beautiful, and I love how they have multiple little pockets of seating that aren't 100% identical. The music is always on point, and I LOVE the live DJ nights! The ambiance is so elevated, so chic, and perfect for the vegan crowd to enjoy a meal along with that upscale lounge type of vibe.

Speaking of the meals, the food is incredible. It's obvious that they care about the taste, the presentation, and the feeling that you get when you eat there. Sadly, I was having such a good time, I forgot to take pics, but I'll come back with an edit when I visit again. My go-to items are the street corn elote and the Philly Cheezsteak egg rolls, but I also love the General Tso’s Chik’n and I heard great things about most of the other items as well. My group tonight had orders that spanned most of the menu, and nobody was disappointed. The vegan oxtail is something you have to specifically ask for, but give it a try. Definitely had me giving a side-eye because the flavor and texture... thought they slipped a meat dish in there for a second, lol... but nope, it was vegan too. Oh, and the apple dessert was good, but the plantain dessert was GREAT! My recommendation, get both lol.

The best part about tonight is that I was able to work with the staff in advance to make sure they could seamlessly accommodate our group of 22 people, and they made it so easy and stress-free. I sent our pre-selected items in advance to make it easier to have everyone's order, and the team delivered flawlessly! Our server Taylor was phenomenal and checked in with me very often to make sure I and my guests were doing okay. She held us down and I will always request her as my server. You can tell that she genuinely cares about people having a pleasant time, and I was so grateful for her. Other staff helped with bringing food out and clearing plates, and I appreciated that level of teamwork.

I'm not a club girly, but I love a good festive atmosphere around happy people. I'm not even a vegan, but I love a good meal. And for the non-drinkers, there are some great mocktails to enjoy. Here, you get a that and then some.“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. I will be honest, I was hesitant to try this place because my expectations were really high given my past experience with the cuisine.
It did NOT disappoint. Don’t skip a beat coming to this place. The food is exceptional, from the rice, to the naan, to the meat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. As a bonus, our two year old devoured the food as well.

“My first time at Miss Shirley's with my daughter's for a Valentine's Day Breakfast and we LOVED it! When we were seated, I noticed that my daughter was given a book to read while there, in addition the kids menu, which I think was a very good idea. Vivian (I think) was our waitress and she was very friend;y and helpful. I loved the way the children's food was plated, in a bento box style. My oldest daughter had the red velvet french toast, which she enjoyed, my youngest daughter got the Belgian waffles, and I got eggs, turkey sausage, hash browns, and a biscuit. Everything was delicious! The mimosa was good and I enjoyed the coffee. Definitely will be back.“

Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“
