“We had lunch here while visiting Elliott City. The food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the Tavern burger, and it was "the best burger he's ever had". My daughter had the same, and she really liked her burger also. I had the smoked salmon wrap, and it was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out. Aside from the food, the restaurant is beautiful and the vibe is very chilled. We will definitely be returning!“

“Dok Khao Thai Eatery is great food, full stop. All the usual Thai staples, plus some very delicious chef's specialties. The interior is just fancy enough if you feel like "doing it up", or casual enough that you don't feel underdressed in T-shirt and jeans. Highly recommended.“

“Perfect way to start AND end a night when visiting Maryland's best comedy club. If you're there with a tab an hour before the show, you can check-in early and skip the line for will call ? (Just ask one of the fabulous bartenders about pre-seating). At the end of the night, stop back in! You'll get half off your first round of drinks after every show! ?Tons of drink and food combinations to try including the "burger of the month", a new late night munchies menu, and so many bourbon and whiskey options to explore! ?And if you're feeling brave, you can try out your jokes at the bar's comedy open mics on Tuesday and Thursday nights.Love this place.Parking: Not just one, but two free parking lots (located on either side of the entrance). To top it off, the bar is walking distance from the Holiday Inn.“

“My go-to place. Vikki and Dan are fantastic bartenders that can make delicious cocktails – just say what you’re in the mood for and they’ll whip up something you’ll enjoy. Definitely try something from the expansive tinned fish selection if you want something to eat on the lighter side. Also, the Detroit-style pizza is quite good (and this is coming from someone raised in southeast Michigan).“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“This place was amazing. When I saw the one dish salad and sliced steak with fries, only options. I was a bit skeptical. However, this place rocks. Steak made perfect to order, and the home made gravy and fresh bread delicious. The Lavender 75 drink was a great refreshing beverage. Definitely will be our new date night spot.“
“This gem is set in the heart of Hampden. Incredible energy from both bar staff and regulars. I was greeted with enchanting laughter as I walked into the bar . They make a very smooth old-fashioned that's made in-house , I also recommend the Low Life . Drink prices are very cheap, I was here for about 3 hours with 2 other friends of mine and the bill was only 95 bucks. Melanie's at Griffith' Tavern is the real deal.“

“Daniels is a decent place to get a bite to eat. Their food is only average, and I have had bad meals here. My last meal, order of wings was great. Service was slow, but we were a party of 10, so I suppose that to be expected. ****Update - tried this place a few more times. Completely different experiences. We now love this place. Food quality was great. The cheese steak was great, the burgers are phenomenal and staff is super friendly. They even have love music some nights. We will continue to visit this place.“

“Xenia is my favorite restaurant in the metropolitan area! The service, food, and ambiance is amazing! I have had several work parties here ranging from 20-100 people and the experience was amazing and consistent each time. I come here regularly for dinner and love the quality and consistency each time.“

“Limited but tasty food items on Happy Hour menu, throughout restaurant, with lots of Evolution craft beers (small Happy Hour size, $3). Main course gemelli pasta truly delicious with intense gorgonzola sauce (love gorgonzola, or don't get it--it's that intense, seriously!). Husband's Honey Belly pizza was incredibly unusual and a spicy-sweet combo of pork belly slices, roasted peppers, honey, chili oil?, and some cheeses. It worked great for him, but not my cup of fat...er..tea! No room for dessert, but prior visit highlighted the "Kit Kat" chocolate dessert as off the charts for us chocolate lovers!Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free pasta.“

“First visit and I brought my rather unappreciative parents, who disliked using the utensils and didn't like the curry dishes they ordered. Me on the other hand loved it. Food is great and the inside was beautiful. If I ever crave rice bowls or curry, I will be coming back here and bring someone who admires Japanese food!“

“Place was packed around 10:45 on a Saturday morning, but my waitress swooped in within about 2 mins of sitting down. She was a terrific server - very friendly & attentive with a wonderful smile & personality to boot. Despite being so crowded, the food came out very quickly, much faster than expected. Also, I asked for the potatoes to be "extra crispy" (Restaurants seem to usually serve potatoes either too hard or too mushy), and they were prepared perfectly. We got 2 different Eggs Benedict dishes, and both were outstanding:1. With Avocado and Toast -- delicious!2. With the Duck and Croissant -- never had duck with Eggs Benny before, and it was fantastic.I'll def stop in again sometime.Great experience & food - thanks folks!Parking: Really no street parking, but there is a giant lot across the street that one can slide into for free, but I'm not sure if the apt complex monitors the parking. There is also a giant parking garage (visible from Interstate 83), which I THINK is free (I seem to remember seeing signs for free parking, but I'm not 100% certain)“
“Love this place! The vibe is always chill. Doesn’t sell food (not important) but food trucks are there and there are times where onsite catering options were available. Music is always a hit! The games are on, the outside patio area is cozy, and the owner is nice!“

“I had a taste for some BBQ and was immediately drawn to this establishment when I saw the combo of BBQ & Whiskey. The cocktails didn’t disappoint. Had something called “Carrot Mule” and in addition to tasting delicious it kind of creeps up on you in a very good way. I ordered the 3 meat special with two sides: pulled pork, brisket and ribs and my two sides were the collard greens and 4 cheese Mac & cheese. This is now my go to restaurant when I get a taste for some good BBQ. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable. My 3 meat dinner was _$24 and worth every penny. Delicious!!!“
“We stumbled on this bar around 2pm on a Wednesday. Kim was bartending, and man was she a delight! We only had one drink, but the conversation and energy that Kim provided was excellent! We loved chatting with her over a beer and playing a few games of Keno with the locals.“

“My wife and I stopped in on a Friday evening during happy hour to taste the food and experience the atmosphere of a place I've driven by hundreds of times. The bar area was almost full. We found two seats at the bar. The numerous TVs were tuned to the current sporting event at the time. Light conversation was occurring all around us. Our bartender tended to us quickly and got our drink orders promptly. I ordered off the regular menu as opposed to the happy hour menu. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Penne Pasta. It came in due time and was excellent. It's a large portion, so be prepared to undue the top button of your trousers or get a doggie bag. I'd definitely come here again, maybe to watch an O's game.“
“Went there for a birthday party. This place is a hidden gem. Has security officers.Very nice looking inside, clean, laid-back atmosphere. Good vibes with the people. The bartender had good service, was nice, and offered a lot of suggestions for drinks. They do not serve food, but you can order or bring in food. BTW the drinks were strong. Definitely would recommend checking this lounge out. You will have a good time.“

“Went back to the Trolley Stop for the first time in over ten years and had a good time and meal. Wife and I split a Caesar salad and French Onion Soup as course #1, the Caesar salad with blackened chicken was delicious, like really really great, the way they dressed it was just perfect and the chicken was not "too blackened" just right. The French onion soup was very good, tasty and cheesy but not too cheesy, just right. For our entrees, my wife and I split a mushroom, bacon, swiss burger and the French Dip. The French dip was probably the lowest point of the night, you had to pay extra to get it with cheese and fried onions (that put the sandwich up close to $20) and it just wasn't that great, not bad, but nothing special, just a big pile of roast beef that needed a dip in the au jus to taste good. The Swiss Bacon burger was delicious, cooked perfectly to medium (so many places overcook when you ask for medium, this had a perfect pink center), very tasty bacon, just very good. Our trip was probably 4.5 stars, we will come back!“
“Dining at Citron is always an enjoyable experience. The food is well-prepared, served at the correct temperature, and the portions generous. The view of the lake from the main dining room and the deck is stunning. The staff, including the owner, are professional and friendly. Steve typically visits each table, not just for a quick "hello, thank you for coming" but actually engaging with the diners.“
“I attended 2 shows, 1 was very good, 2nd time the 2 singers was just fair, but tried. Small portions on dinner taste decent, kinda high in price for the amount of foods served. The best is the cocktail ? drinks good prices!! Slowly service but friendly staff. Would I return sure, it's in my neighborhood.Parking: Parking attendees helps u park in an order. Afterwards one is walked to your car, VERY nice!!“

“This was far from my first time here, but stopped by for a mother's day lunch today. Not pictured (because I was hungry, sorry) was the charcuterie plate and the Thai steamed mussels. The charcuterie plate had toasted bread, spiced nuts, two cheeses (today was havarti dill and a "grilled" cheese), prosciutto, smoked duck, whole grain mustard, house made pickles and a sweet relish. All the components on their own are delicious, but my favorite pairing was the bread with whole grain mustard, smoked duck, and sweet relish on top. The Thai mussels were cooked perfectly, the broth was light and full of ginger, garlic and coconut, served with a garlic Naan style bread. For desert, the s'mores cake with torched marshmallow, fudge sauce, chocolate cake and a Graham ice cream. It was decadent without being cloying, and a great ratio of chocolate, marshmallow, and Graham cracker that a lot of s'mores desserts get wrong. I also got the espresso marti-no, which was their non alcoholic espresso martini. Essentially a cold brew, but I loved the fancy feeling and it was refreshing and sweet. Our sever, Mike, was attentive and helpful, checked on us frequently but not enough to interrupt the experience. Love the ambiance here and the food is always a hit.“

“I've never been in the actual bar Part but if I have to go to a liquor store in the neighborhood it is by far the best one. Good selection, reasonable prices, tend to keep a lot of the riff Raff and beggars from hanging out. The owners and people that work there are very nice also. There's at least 12 liquor stores right here within walking distance and if they're open they're the ones that I spend my money with. Even late at night I feel safe going to the ATM here.“
“Purchased two tickets for the Whiskey Tour, Tasting, & Make-Your-Own Experience for my husband & myself- Overall, the experience was a great date night- allowed to bring own food, we got to the spot early to enjoy our dinner in the ambiance of the art gallerythe tour was very informative; starting with a welcome cocktail (bartender's choice) to sip while we heard the deep history of MD Rye, then moving to a history/tour of the distillery-learning about the entire process of whiskey creation, then ending with a variety finishing tasting board (4 4oz pours) complete with a pipet and empty glass intended for us to play around with creating and balancing our own whiskey.after the experience, the bartender was super friendly, hanging around to answer additional questions about whiskey & offer some tastings of their bottled to-go options (noting after the tour anything would be 10% off including to-go or additional cocktails)variety included gin, brandy, apple brandy liquors, whiskeys, bitters, & specialty alcoholic mixers while all the experience was delightful, the taste profiles of their offerings weren't really appealing to us- a lot of the cocktails had overly sweet mixers- the liquors, bitters, and specialties were overly sweet, and we weren't super impressed with the whiskey palate compared to our go-tosI would suggest-when touring/learning about the distillery in the cold months, maybe just do a tour then go back to the warm area to give the long speech- ~30mins in the cold wasn't as fun, but I did really appreciate the in-depth discussionwould suggest for a one-time specialty date night, but I wouldn't go there for regular cocktails- especially with Union's good beer nearby- just a personal flavor choice.“

“On the day I was there a few servers had called out sick, so service was slow. But it was also thoughtful. These distillery workers put on the spot made a wonderful and welcoming place. The cocktail I had (a twist on a Gin Rickey) was lovely. My sandwich was delectable (the cranberry grilled cheese). After my meal I asked for some pointers on which bottles to buy for a gin/vodka drinker, and the staff obliged. I highly suggest at least trying either the house specialties and, at the very least, venturing outside you comfort zone. There is much expertise here waiting just beyond the surface. As my guide for the evening said: "Na zdravie."“

“Very fun, chill place! Never heard of it until I was invited to a get together here last month! Parking was easy - parked right in front! The owner is very friendly and down to earth! She was dancing with us and having a great time! The drinks are good and inexpensive! I'm not sure of their hours of operation but I came on a Saturday night and it wasn't too packed. I would definitely come back in the near future!“

“My family has enjoyed this place for years, I contacted the management about catering a party for my Father's 70th Birthday. They offered plenty of packages. The party went off great!! The manager made sure everything was perfect. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. Food, atmosphere, bartenders . Had a great time with friends. Would recommend you plan this place for any of your next occasions. A++“
“It had been years since I visited this place. However, this place was such a vibe. First, the remodeled inside was spacious with a nice bar space. Second, the music and dj were on point, and third, the people were there to dance. If. You love Caribbean music you will love this place. I definitely enjoyed my night and will be back soon.“
“The best quaint neighborhood bar you will find in this particular urban area . I went for happy hour and got way more than what I anticipated, I got a free fried fish dinner with two sides that went along with me purchasing a drink. When I tell you that fish dinner was everything , perfectly seasoned the sides where green beans and Mac and cheese and I had a margarita . They have a juke box , and then later on a live Dj comes and it just gets even better“
“This is a neighborhood bar and you will definitely feel welcomed. The drinks are good and custom made based on what you like. I cannot have sweet drinks so a drink was made specifically for me. I will definitely be back... Oh the crabs were on point as well!“

“Stopped in for a nice family dinner on 4/12. This place is very busy and we lucked in to walking in at the right moment. We got a table right away, there were many people waiting to sit throughout our time there. We ordered 2 appetizers, the meatballs and zucchini chips. The zucchini chips were really terrific, fresh and tasty, the sauce was a nice addition. The meatballs were a little off. There were 4 of them, the first one I ate did not taste good at all. My kiddo had a bite and would not have more. My husband ate a different one and thought it was good. Turns out, the one meatball tasted VERY different than the other 3. That is disconcerting. The other 3 were tasted ok, not great overall. The kid had the grilled cheese that she said was great. She ate it all.The adults split the Pesto pizza. It was good, but again, not great. I was hoping for more flavor from the pesto, it just did not come thru as very flavorful. We opted not to check for desserts.“
“Convenient neighborhood liquor store, the only one in the area open on Sundays! Friendly staff are always helpful. Good selection with reasonable prices.Parking: Parking available on both sides of the street directly outside the store and lounge. Also, a couple of spots on the side of the building.“
“Giving this place 5 stars. It may be in a bad area, but once I got inside I was greeted with friendliness and professionalism that you would expect from a place in a much nicer area. She didn't have my favorite drink on hand, but she took the time to look and offer me a similar drink.“
“Honey's has undergone new management and honestly, I enjoy coming here. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the Crispy Mongolian Beef ($15.95). They have beer bucket specials as well and there kitchen stays open til 11 pm. They have a packaged good stores if you want to buy beer or liquor at the side, as well as 3 pool tables ($1-$1.50/rack).“

“Excellent salads. “Baby Salads” were large and tasty before our entrées. I had the shrimp carbonara which was very nice with large shrimp. 2 others had the scallops special with risotto and loved it. Large portions which we all enjoyed as leftovers the next night. Heath Bar bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was a decadent ending. Service was good, but we were seated by the kitchen which was the only minor disappointment of the evening.“
