“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.
We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.
It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

“So look.. I am always good for a hood spot and initially tht was my impression but then I stepped inside.. Babbbbbbby the bartender.. the owner took great care of us.. It was karaoke & ppl were singing and having a great time.. I am def going bk.. family oriented..good food..just a great time!“

Parking: Parking available on both sides of the street directly outside the store and lounge. Also, a couple of spots on the side of the building.“

“I've never been in the actual bar Part but if I have to go to a liquor store in the neighborhood it is by far the best one. Good selection, reasonable prices, tend to keep a lot of the riff Raff and beggars from hanging out. The owners and people that work there are very nice also. There's at least 12 liquor stores right here within walking distance and if they're open they're the ones that I spend my money with. Even late at night I feel safe going to the ATM here.“

“I reallly enjoyed my time here! I was able to catch a comedy show, & I hear they do brunch & other private events. I can't wait to come back! I got the Caribbean Blue, I believe it's called, & man on man . Even the servers seemed to enjoy them selves, I love that bc they treated their customers w care & actually seemed to enjoy what they do! & DAMMIT are they good I live not too far, so I'll def be a regular. Can't wait for nfl szn, the Flock will be IT for me“
“I don’t bother to order from anyone else. I get fast, friendly thoughtful service everytime and I know when I see Rock pull up that everything is going to be good with my order.. he’s courteous and kind. They always call before substituting what we order and it’s always correct.“

“The owner tries hard to maintain a certain vibe at this place. He made it clear to me one day that johnnies is not a party spot. You go there for the stiff drinks. It has a small group of regulars and if you know who I'm referring to then you're probably one of them. But outside of them most people just keep to themselves. Like I said though, you go for the drinks and they're cheap & strong ( I've never had their food) .“

“Downtown location is excellent. Food is great at both locations. Service at Owings Mills location was the worst I have ever experienced. Go Downtown. Owings Mills service was dreadful. It wasn't crowded. Just really bad service. Worst service.“

The spot has two pool tables, and the bartender poured some great drinks to get you a ripped for a fun evening.
Played a couple of games with some people and had a genuinely GREAT night.
It's definitely a valid low-key "chill spot" in Bmore.“

“Absolutely horrible breakfast food! Got an order from Uber Eats and tried to call and they said all I could do was bring the food back for them to make a new one!! Absolutely not! First, I don’t have a car, that’s why I ordered Uber eats!!! Second, I don’t want your nasty food after you try to pass off AN ENGLISH MUFFIN as my BUTTERMILK BISCUITS AND GRAVY! Trash food and no accountability. Terrible experience. The burrito is four ingredients and they still forgot the cheese! Scrapple like a soggy chunk of uncooked meat“
“Did not have the food here, but Jimmy is great! We came late on a Sunday and he showed us a great time. Drinks are priced well. We've been here before, but Jimmy created a welcoming atmosphere and offered great conversation. They're making a real effort to appeal to a higher end customer; the bathrooms are newly renovated. Looking forward to seeing upgrades. Will be returning!“
