“First off, the food is amazing. I recommend trying a few of the small plates and tapas and see if you want to just keep ordering those first before you commit to the entrees. The entrees are large portions you can easily share with another person so I'd go that route so you can try several of the smaller plates. Cuchara offers several staple tapas and small plates which are just as good as I've had in Spain. The service is some of the best I've had. The servers were super friendly and attentive and the food came out so fast. We were honestly surprised how quickly it came out. I can't recommend La Cuchara enough.“

“We stopped by on a recent Saturday eve, foolishly hadn’t made reservations, and the place was packed. The awesome Host that night was kind enough to take pity & got us a table within oh, 15 minutes or less, and apologized to us for the “wait!” Food was fantastic (Bauernwurst & Falafel and of course potato pancakes) and the beers matched the food. Our server was great as well, for a busy night we never had to flag her down for refills or anything else’s. Cant wait to go back & try some other dishes!“

“This place was weird in a lot of the right ways.It's a casual brunch spot with a huge three tiered dining room, a ton of staff, and some really good food. The thing is, they had food runners and bussers, and asked about allergies as though they were a fine dining restaurant. I appreciated it, but our server was below par.We live in the south, so testing out some of their southern claims was necessary.Grits were good and super creamy, I'd wager because they add bacon grease or some kind of lard to them.Collards were surprisingly good, but weren't stripped or chopped like most places do, so you can end up with large mouthfuls. I love collards, so I was fine with it, but for some people, it might be a bit much.Fried green tomatoes were delicious, bacon was cooked perfectly, and the fried chicken had a great fry with choice seasoning.The Strawberry donuts were okay but nothing to write home about.Now, the cinnamon danish pancakes were really good. I don't really do breakfast sweets all that much, but we made an exception here for obvious reasons. I didn't even bother with syrup, as it sort of ruined how perfectly fluffy and moist they were, and with the cinnamon, butter, and cream cheese icing, they were right in the sweet spot.This is a four and a half star restaurant, and I rounded up because the Managers played their role and checked on everything and the food runner took care of us.“

“I don't generally eat fried foods but the fried chicken is at another level. Crispy and flavorful but doesn't taste greasy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not a lot of sit down space in the small joint. Everything else is top-notch. A neighborhood gem.“

Normal people could almost split it but of course I devoured the whole thing w some chips. The guys who work here are awesome and have the whole process down to a science. Nice people to boot. After enjoying lunch in the tap room we did the self guided tour and visited the gift shop and had another beer in the beer garden outside. The whole experience was great. We will go back. “Came here for a family birthday dinner on a Saturday evening, did not disappoint! Since it was the weekend, it was definitely busy. We made a reservation a few days prior, so I do recommend making a reservation for the weekend (not sure how busy it gets during the weekday but I assume it would still be popular!) Our server was super attentive as well as the other servers walking around throughout our meal. He offered us recommendations and was very detailed and kind. He also mentioned that there are items that can be made Gluten Free but to not assume that the GF label means that it is gluten free by nature. We started with the calamari which tasted fresh and delicious! Always one of our go-to appetizers at any restaurant that offers it. For our mains, we ordered an assortment of entrees--pasta, paella, grilled salmon, and the ribeye steak. They were super accommodating to requests/substitutions as well (sub veggies for mashed potatoes, etc). Everything was so yum - nothing tasted lukewarm despite everything coming out around the same time. Nothing was bland - flavors were all prominent without being overbearing. The steaks were cooked according to temperature preferences and the salmon was not dry at all! The only reason why I docked a star is because of how loud it gets, making it a little difficult to have conversation with the table and also flag down our server who was super busy. It's also a little on the darker side (think borderline cheesecake factory level) so just beware for those who may have people in their party who cannot see well in dim lighting. Will definitely be back in the future :)“

I was very excited to see they have housemade banana pudding & it lived up to the hype! Chunks of real banana with creamy well flavored pudding and fluffy cream. Great ratio of pudding, cream, and soft wafers. also got the double chocoalte cupcake which was delicious, soft, and ultra chocolately without crumbling to bits!Wheelchair accessibility: No step into or inside the shop. In a shopping plaza with accessible ramps and wide sidewalks. Interior room for power chair and low counters to pay.“

I was asked if I had a reservation when I walked in-I didn't and asked if I was out of luck. They did have some open tables but I was picking up. Quite around 5:30. Based on the friendly staff's recommendation, ordered Tikki Chaat, Mixed Veggie Pakodas and Trini Doubles. All 3 were Vegan and delicious with complex spices/flavors- the Pakodas are also Gluten free. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the Chaat-Potato Patties dipped in curried chutney with just the right amount of spicy. Service was exceptional with a high level of patience for answering my questions and providing recommendations. Picked up a bit by 6. Will be back for dinner. If in Hampden, make this stop!“
