I was disappointed that they had no lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, or salt, and that they charge for extra sauce (I was using it on my fries). The friendly, handsome cashier gave my friend and I cards for free burgers and asked that I leave a review, which showed they care about their customers having a great experience and appreciate the feedback. Oh yeah, I thought the smashburger should be listed as such on the menu, and that they should be either bigger or cheaper. Over all I'd give them a 4.5!“

“Top-notch burger. The patty was juicy with crispy edges, the chopped toppings were flavorful and fresh, cutting through the richness of the beef. The bun did not become soggy mess, and was perfectly buttery and toasted.

Edit: The Ube soft serve is worth a second visit. Gorgeous silky texture, not too sweet, deep Ube flavor and the toasted coconut topping is a delicious addition.“

“Again, a fabulous dinner at District Bistro. Because it was Valentine's Day, there was a fixed-price menu: $65 for three courses. I started with the 1/2 dozen oysters (a treat!) and my partner had the house-smoked salmon with caviar. Both were delicious, but the salmon was a special surprise, topped with thinly sliced kumquats and capers; it was an unexpected taste sensation! I chose scallops for my main course--I almost always get them here, and they never disappoint. They were perfectly cooked and served over a warm black lentil salad. My partner chose the lamb chops that came with a tasty harissa-eggplant sauce. They were tender and cooked just right--a little pink in the center. For dessert, I had the kumquat and pistachio creme brulee. I wasn't sure about my choice, but it ended up being delightful. The creme was rich, but not too heavy and the crust on the top was caramelized perfectly. My husband had pear pecan sticky pudding--yum. We had been tempted to go elsewhere for Valentine's Day because District Bistro tends to be our go-to. I am glad we didn't!!“

The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!!
