“This establishment is in my hometown so I wanted to support it. I ordered 10 sub sandwiches to be cut in 4 pieces to feed a gathering of bridge players at The Washington Bridge Unit this afternoon. I worked with Geraldo who listened to what I needed and came up with a perfect combination of sandwiches and offered a small discount so that the purchase was within budget, The sandwiches were delivered for free perfectly packed and perfectly delicious. Everyone raved about them! I would definitely use them for other events…. Please remember to buy local - P“

“Update: since this experience I haven't had one nearly as bad as this the pizza is good and the cheesecake is delicious glad I tried it again after the bad first impression. ?
I know it's the Superbowl but I really can't accept this experience. Driver was amazing even went back to the restaurant to get an extra pizza. Reason why because our order took over 2 hours to get here and unfortunately they didn't even bring us 1 of the pizza we actually ordered. We got 2 random meat covered pizzas and all we ordered was extra cheese & chicken. The extra pizza was nice but I'm still not happy with getting 2 pizzas I can't eat. Wings are good but this was a terrible experience. Glad I ordered them since it was the only think I could eat from a $50 order. I think what we originally ordered would've been good and I could've eaten this one if not for the other meats. Ordered through slice.“

Sure, plenty of them are delicious and would be enjoyable again, but don’t warrant the price tag or are too slow and elaborate to repeat with any frequency… some just aren’t worth returning to at all. But the value, the flavor, the experience and the ethics at Oyster Oyster have us wanting to return each season as the menu turns over and they weave in new seasonal, local, sustainable delicacies.“

The rye bread was toasted perfectly, the sauerkraut was tangy, the smoked tempeh was a delicious stand in for corned beef, and put together with the dressing and the cheese it was melt in your mouth delicious. “Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. “Our visit to Martin’s Tavern was excellent. From the hostesses to the manager, everyone was attentive, polite, and made for a great dining experience. Our server, Zachariah (“Zac”) was awesome and made the experience all that much better. Food was great and I highly recommend the Martin’s Delight. “We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and they already had a card prepared for her when we got there because I selected birthday under the event tab in our reservation. We both decided it was the best place either of us had been. I do not write reviews for restaurants but this one deserves it. “Our waiter, Caleb, was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the dishes were interesting and unique. We were a party of 7, sat outside and really enjoyed ourselves. The pacing of all the dishes coming out was perfect. The only downside was that there was a man with a really large dog seated right next to us and the dog barked and whined (so loudly we could not hear each other) and it smacked into our chairs repeatedly. Once the man left things improved and we had a great experience.“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts!
