“The seafood is good, but the sides are sub par. The coleslaw, which was recommended on Everything Frederick as " the best around" by people, tastes about the same as Food Lion, metallic aftertaste and just bad. the cost was 11.00. The 12.00 potato salad had hard potatoes and was thrown right in the trash. I make good potato salad, but my husband cant resist buying bad potato salad everywhere, Lighthouse included.“

“We go to Surah almost every week. They have great sushi and sashimi; the rice is perfect for both the nigiri and rolls, and the fish is sliced in good portions. They aren't skimpy like many other sushi places we've tried. Their bento boxes are delicious and everything we've had at the hibachi table is tasty and the cooking is entertaining. JJ, Chef Young, and everyone on staff treat you like family. That along with the food keeps us coming back to Surah! (Oh, and now they often offer wagyu beef! If you want a special treat, it practically melts in your mouth!)“

“My wife and I order from here all the time. All the Carry out Chinese places in Frederick are really expensive and not that great. This place is great! Sushi and all the regular stuff to. Sushi’s good so are the entrées. And it’s not stupid expensive. Small family owned. I saw review saying owner was mean but she’s always been nice to us.“

“My husband and I love this place. We go there at least once a week. Over the years we have discovered our favorite items and they are always good. My husband's favorites are: Pepper Steak, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Beef or Pork with Chinese Vegetables, and Egg Foo Young. My favorites are: Cashew Chicken, Orange Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, Pork Lo Mein, and Hot Sour Soup. There are still items on their menu I want to try. They have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00. For 99 cents you can add an egg roll or soup to your lunch special. They are closed on Tuesdays.“

“I would like to say that back in the day I used to go to Cameron‘s and I wasn’t sure if the craps was still the same. I know back in the past they kind of fell off and so I took a chance with them on Sunday because of word-of-mouth and I was extremely surprised that crabs were really, really really good. Trust me when I tell you I’m a crab eater and when I say they were seasoned to perfect perfection and the size of the male number ones were so good. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.“
