“Once you try one of the Sunshine Store's sandwiches, you will wonder why it took so long to try one! 😊 My husband and father in law introduced me to this hidden pleasure the first time I visited the area. We started with breakfast (tasting the local culinary treasure of scrapple), then I was introduced to their burgers on the same trip, and I was surprised that everything is cooked to order. I have not found any burger yet that is close to comparison!! My husband's family has made this a regular stop for sandwiches over several decades and generations. My father in law (nearby farmer/owner of Greenstone Custom Farming) has eaten there for several decades along with feeding his crew from this hidden gem, this has been a favorite of my husband's since he was old enough to eat there, and now it is a favorite place for our children to eat with grandpa. The store is small and with limited seating, it would be best to order the food to go or if you are eating alone you can sit at the counter and watch your food be prepared. A must try in the area and definitely worth the drive through the beautiful countryside!“

My back ground is culinary/hospitality industry and was so impressed by service and also food quality.. His family and my family celebrated our special occasions every year. Now, we are coming back here again on August 27th to celebrate his 68th wedding anniversary and their 90years birthday also. This is his wife's pick and I and he are excited for next week event.“

“My favorite place to dine at Rio. This place is always packed, so pack some patience if you have to wait. I enjoy their house beers- especially the House IPA, House Lager and House Golden Pilsner. For appetizers, can’t go wrong with their poke nachos, probably their signature dish. Other favorites are their wings and Jumbo pretzels.

The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. My favorites are the Lobster Garlic Noodles, Stacked Turkey Club, Cobb salads and cheesesteak.

Their happy hour deals are pretty good. They do have a waitlist you can join on their app. Hard to believe this used to be a Romano’s Macaroni Grill.“

We’ve been to Bench so many times and we were always very happy with the food and service . This is a hidden gem in Rio. While other restaurants are crowded and noisy, this one has a classy and quiet atmosphere. The food’s delicious and flavorful. We appreciate the chef and the hosts- they get busy with a small staff but they are still very hospitable and attentive. Our server last night was Alie and I’m sorry I didn’t get the other lady’s name . Keep up the excellent work . We will surely be back .“

“14OCT.2021 I stayed in the Mariott a month ago and didn’t have the time to check out this lovely, refined restaurant. My experience was beautiful, professional, kind, easy going, pleasant, welcoming,inviting and amazing! The atmosphere was the same. My waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was super delicious. I had the Ollie's meat trio flatbread (Pepperoni, Calabrese, Toscano, fresh mozzarella, sweet basil)for a snack and then I devoured the Black Bass(local carrot trio, heirloom fingerling potato, French beans, citrus veloute)for dinner. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and very organized. Best experience ever. Best pre birthday dining festivities. So glad I was in the area and stopped by. I love, love, love, love this place. The bathrooms are no hand entry(wave hand in front of sensor, door gradually opens)and very clean. Apparently the transition from lunch to dinner, the lights are dimmed.“

We had some soup (French onion and daily) and everyone enjoyed it and they came out promptly. We all got a variety of meals, flat bread, pasta Primavera, wings, and burger and they all had a good flavor.
