From the hostess's accommodation of our late arrival, friendly greeting, and front door coat check to our waiter’s, Elmer, and wait staff’s attentive service throughout our visit, Cranes was superb! You can choose to sit inside where it is lively and festive, sit outside on the Front Porch, which allows you to take in the vibe and thrum of Del Ray, or in the back where you can dine outside as if you were grilling at home. The menu changes seasonally and the bar is skillful and inventive with their offerings. Our server was excellent. He was knowledgeable, attentive without hovering and well-versed in the menu and wine and beer selections. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely evening out.“

Food arrived fast and tasted absolutely delicious. Loved the location, close to walking to about anywhere.
Rooms where clean, a bit small. Smaller than I expected them to be but comfortable otherwise. Staff was great and every friendly.
We are breakfast a few times during our stay.
Was anxious to do so due to having to eat from the GF menu and breakfast items can be not much of an option at most places.
After speaking to the manager at the restaurant, cafe Riggs, I was put at ease as he went through the whole menu and told me what would be and what would not be and explained why.
I have to say it was the best eggs I've had in a long time and I was not expecting that I could actually eat gluten-free toast without worrying about cross contamination.
My husband had the breakfast sandwich and loved everything.

Upon informing the bartender, Josue Vasquez, about my allergy, he immediately reassured me and took detailed notes to communicate with the chef, Marcel Che, and Sous Chef, James Jones. What really impressed me was their proactive approach: Chef Che personally came out to discuss my dietary restrictions and preferences. On hand, there was not such an enhancement for my dish so they crafted a special dipping sauce on the spot, ensuring it was free from any allergens and tailored to my taste.

Think of your favorite chill spot or dive bar, but with an upscale esthetic better. The food was Delicious!. Definitely more than what i expected. Prices are what you'd expect for a place in the city, but it's totally worth it for the quality and experience. The mix drinks were impressive. The staff were super acoomodating and friendly. The place is also decked out nicely, it has a relaxed yet kinda fancy feel. It's not super spacious, but that's part of its charm. Its a friendly dive bar vibe with class. “The location is at the end of King Street along the Potomac River....the surrounding area was very busy and active since they closed down the last 2blocks of King Street which creates a great pedestrian area as you approach the restaurant. We had a table in the outdoor covered dining area that was very nice and overlooking the water. They have outdoor heaters for cooler weather. The oysters were great as were the crab balls and crab dip appetizers. I had the fish special that was Florida Grouper over a bed of veggies that was outstanding!! Great experience and not too pricey..... Lastly, our server SOFIA was fantastic and attentive! Highly recommend!!“

Sets the bar by which we measure all cocktails. Never disappointed, each menu always multiple amazing options. I can count on my hands the number of times i have got a cocktail someplace else and NOT been totally disappointed in comparison.

Ambience is brilliant, lively but not too loyd. Brilliant date night. Service is always wonderful and light bites are incredible.

Some friends and I went today for brunch. All though the menu was a bit limited, we all ordered 3 different things and we all enjoyed it. Our server was a great sport by listening to us ask why there weren't any breads or carbs on the menu and Saim was very accommodating when spoke with him as well. He gave us a full tour of the restaurant and it was just a great time right before the Brunch and Go Home event began.“

And our service was very friendly and helpful… let’s get to the main bits…. If you are interested in “VIP BOTTLE SERVICE” please know that there is a 2 hour limit. This was never communicated to us. Not once! We paid the fee. Bought food. For roughly a $500 tab (gratuity was included) but we were told at a certain point that we had to “finish up”. Before we were done with our bottle! No where on the website did (does) it indicate that there was/is a two hour minimum (we provided recipes to the manager on duty). So you can imagine our surprise when the staff approached us with this news. To make things worse… I asked the new folks sitting next to us if they’d bought the VIP bottle service. She said “no, we just reserved the booth. No fee. Excuse me??? Jokes on us in guess. Myself, and the people with me, where celebrating. We paid for the premium “VIP” experience and we’re told we had to “wrap up” before we finished our bottle! WHAT DOES “VIP Bottle service” mean exactly to Air Restaurant??? Do not get VIP service here. It means nothing. We paid our money (plus gratuity). So they got theirs. But did we get ours… Na! Be cautious. Save money. Just reserve a table. Attached is an example of an event happening next week, currently on their web site. As you can see… no mention of any 2 hour limit. Proceed with caution. Also, I did some deep research to find the “2 hour table” reference I was presented with by the manager. Found this on Yelp/Open Table. (See attachment) Does this actually apply to VIP ($300+) “Bottle service” tables!? Or just the regular tables!? Someone please help me understand! What does VIP REALLY mean here? And also…. Who’s going directly to “open door” To make a reservation with them? You’d most likely visit their website… Right? Can someone please help me make this make sense?“
