“Wow, service was way above the box coffee places and the bagels were awesome. I ordered Bacon, egg, & cheese on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel and a coffee. The bagel was so good I went back and got a second one for later as well as a fruit cup for on the run. Price was good for the what I got, but the service, they were phenomenal. While standing in line and then waiting for my divine food, the customers and staff knew each other and were having dialogue, imagine that, a friendly atmosphere.

Thank you to the crew, you all were awesome and helped make a nice day into a beautiful one.

If you can swing it, I highly recommend giving them a shot and if like my experience, you will not be disappointed.“

“I have been coming to Brooklyn Bagel weekly for over a decade. They have hands down the best bagels in the region, and also the best employees (I call them my bagel heroes)! Even with the recent growth of other bagel spots in the region, Brooklyn Bagel remains the best. Absolutely worth the trip! Be prepared for lines on the weekend and bring cash to pay and tip to make the experience better for everyone.“

“Fantastic breakfast sandwiches in the area. Bagels are soft and seasoned well. You get a generous portion of bacon/sausage, egg and cheese. It's definitely worth the money. They have a lot of seating available if you eat there and there staff is very nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“

The food is fresh, tasty, and hits the spot without breaking the bank. It’s a smaller location with no seating area, so it’s more of a grab-and-go setup. Be prepared to wait a little bit during the lunch rush since it can get busy, and there’s not much of a waiting area. Still, the place is well stocked with plenty of options and a good variety of bagels, spreads, and sandwiches. Definitely worth it if you’re nearby and craving something quick and satisfying.“

“This is the OG iconic location located a couple of blocks from M street. I popped in a on a busy Saturday and the line was to the door. I always get their iced matcha latte or one of the breakfast bagels. Sun city and Thunderbird and Royal palm are always a must order for me. Seating is limited here, but service is quick. I received my food and drink order less than 3 minutes after I ordered them. Popular tourist spot in the area and I would definitely stop by if you've never been inside or taken a picture outside.“

“We’ve been regular customers since well before Neal’s moved to its current location. The bagels are delicious (more New Yorky and flavorful than others in the area) and always fresh. The sliced turkey breast, Nova, and chicken salad are some of our favorites. Lots of other tasty menu items too. Highly recommend!“

As a diner who digs texture as much as sauce/spread, the avocado was a touch heavy-handed, drowning out that wonderful latke. This might be the case across the board, as pictures indicate they are generous with their spreads. Not a critique, as so many love that, just one dude’s take. “This place is fantastic! It is super convenient, being on the lower level of this office building. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is superb. I got a bacon cheeseburger here and I saw it made fresh, cooked on the spot. It was one of the best burgers I have had IN MY LIFE. I cannot recommend this place enough for a quick work lunch.“
