They open up their backyard van too for this summer and the atmosphere is wonderful for a summer night sert with your friends and family. You should try it if you like home made foods.“

“This place is perfect, right down to the soap in their bathrooms. They always have an amazing, affordable, diverse selection of wines. The food is also incredible. The staff is always friendly, never pretentious, and never fail to give a good suggestion. (Shout out to Gaile, they might be my favorite server of all time.) As a young person, this is an amazing place to get into wine. The owners, Jackie and Philippe, are fantastic and welcoming hosts. I am a bit of a regular and they are truly lovely people. “This is a to-go Indian chaat spot located inside a gas station. Here’s how it works: you place your order at the cashier, and they bring the food out to you. There’s also a small corner with a few chairs if you want to eat quickly and head out.

We ordered the samosa wrap, which this place is known for - and it was delicious. The filling includes chana and rice by default, along with whatever other toppings you choose, making it quite hearty and satisfying.

We also tried the dahi puri chaat, which was very good. My husband and I shared both dishes and were completely full by the end. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Oh - almost forgot! They also sell Indian beers here like Haywards 5000 and Kingfisher, if that’s your thing.“

“I’ve been to hundreds of delis over the past 40 years and this one did it right- crispy fries but not burned, just right toasted wheat bread, real chicken breast and fresh green avocado on the sandwich. Portion not too big or small, friendly service, clean bright interior. I knew it was authentic when I saw the Mexican Cholula hot sauce bottle on the table. They just got it all right for me on a quiet weds afternoon, well done!“

“This place has The BEST eclairs, pastries, cakes and individual quiches I've found anywhere in Northern Virginia! It is my mission to try all their deserts eventually.

They also have mini teapots nestled on top of a cup if you are dining in. The staff are so friendly and remembered me from my first visit there when I came back the next week.

“Reservation was ready when we arrived. Tower Oaks lodge is an elaborately decorated restaurant so the ambiance was good. “After visiting several bike shops in the Loudoun/Fairfax Co area, The Bike Lane Reston provided the best vibe and customer experience, hands down. Adam Reel and Ben (I think I was Ben's first customer on his first day on the job!) were fantastic - they took time on a typically busy but rainy Sunday to patiently educate me on different types of bikes, sizing/fitting, and getting me on the RIGHT bike with NO pressure or up-sell. In the end, I fell in love with and purchased the Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 in Lavender Haze, kitted out for touring. Adam worked diligently in arriving at a very fair price and was also gracious in sharing his considerable knowledge, experience and advice for riding the type of trails that I aspire toward, such as the C&O/GAP. Of note, another Trek dealership closer to home offered to match the price for the same bike, but the stellar service I received from Adam won me over. Well done to Adam and Ben and the entire Bike Lane team!
UPDATE: 8/04/25: Just returned from the C&O Canal trail. The bike totally crushed the ride - even the hilly gravel between Purcellville and Brunswick. So pleased with this purchase!“

“I've been here many times now and have yet to have a bad meal. Highlights include their pastel de queso, the sonso de yucca, the empanada arroz and the sopa de mani but there's so much more including delicious Saltenas and if you're really hungry their Majadito. The staff is super friendly and attentive and they are easy to find with good parking. This will definitely be one of my first stops anytime I am in this area.“

“Went here with some friends- it was one of their favorite cafes, and I could tell why- we shared our different coffee drinks, and they were all very tasty. The breakfast bagels were really good, they had some spices or herbs with the egg or something that gave it a nice je ne sais quoi. It was kind of sweet but a really unique egg bagel sandwich.
We went on a weekend morning and it was hopping! There was just enough seating to fit everyone in there, but I could see it getting tight if it was any busier.
I love that you can bring your own mug, and the staff was very friendly. Good vibes all around.“

“Open City at the National Cathedral is a funky, charming spot for breakfast, lunch, dessert or coffee. Located in the same parking lot of the Cathedral, parking can be a bit tricky with reserved spots all over the place. The parking garage is close-by and easy to use. The service at Open City is very friendly and fast. The menu gives options for any diet and for just wanting a small bite to being hungry for an entire meal. Our party had the chicken salad croissants (which were huge) that were served with house chips and the poke bowls. We were a hungry group, but none of us were able to clean our plates because there was so much food! Next time, we're going in for dessert and coffee!“

“What a gem Semicolon Cafe is. Hands on down one of the best cafes in the DMV. The coffee (Iced Caramel) and sandwiches (B.E.L.T) were really good.
