“I love California Tortilla and this place didn't disappoint! The steak fajita burrito was delicious. The Coke from the machine was off, but I'll chock it up to a mistake. Someone probably put the wrong bag in the regular spot, it tasted like cherry. The sauce wall has some pretty amazing sauces and to-go containers. Will definitely be back!“

“I absolutely love Chipotle and come here at least 4 or 5 times a week, but I always make a special effort to visit the location at Potomac Village. The team here is incredibly kind and always makes sure I leave satisfied! I usually ask for rice without cilantro, and they always accommodate my request without hesitation. Their kindness and attention to detail mean so much to me. I especially want to shout out Sylvia, she’s truly the best! Her lovable personality always brightens my day and makes each visit feel extra special. Everyone at this location is amazing, and of course, the food is too!“

“Kinda unfair. Tried the esquites and the special tacos. Also had the watermelon Fresca and horchata. Liked the elote and drinks. The special tacos were okay. Meat was kinda plain. I'll try their regular menu next time because all that was tasty. Esquites had really nice smoky crema.“

“Wow! Besides the food being exceptional, I was also informed that they cook in exclusively olive oil, use good quality ingredients (no shortcuts), and their meat is halal. The owners are passionate and the food tastes like a lot of love and thought has gone into curating each dish.

I got the guac taco dip, Mexican chicken tacos, and pressed taco- flavorful, fresh and probably the best food I’ve had in a while.

The lengua, mixto, and el pastor are all amazing and come with the perfect accoutrements and both green and red sauce. Also, each time I’ve visited this truck, all of the workers have been so friendly and welcoming. El Chilango is always my first recommendation to people looking for delicious and authentic tacos“

“Hidden gem! Parked to go into another restaurant then happened to see the orders this restaurant was bringing out, so switched gears and came here for lunch. Food was delicious: fresh, hot, tasty unique flavors. Fresh ice water available for paying customers which was nice. The staff was friendly and smiling, helpful, polite when our child was looking for the restroom and the tables were cleaned up fast which was nice as the tables were turned over quickly. Want to come back even though we don’t live close!“

Parking: Parking is not good here. They have a couple spots in the rear but its crowded with the body shop cars. Street parking is available and is probably your best bet.“

Two recommendations Mexican Restaurant can use a little more spices, it is too Luke warm, tacos appear unhealthy looking, like they were sleepy or taking a nap. “Definitely worth the wait. Took me a while to time a bike ride over to Bethesda as they are only open through (late) lunchtime hours but I am grateful I was able to make it.

I sampled the combo fajitas with steak and chicken, accompanied by peppers and onions, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and rice and beans. Everything was excellent, really good meat quality and well seasoned and grilled. Rice and beans were superb, authentic Mexican flavor.

I also squeezed in an Al Pastor taco and a Chorizo taco and both were very tasty. The Al Pastor was a lighter flavor, but really solid and nice they include the grilled pineapple as hoped. The chorizo is a chunkier variety, vs ground fine, and rich with flavor as well.

Staff is very polite and friendly, and will make modifications where they can.

“Was hankering for some tacos one afternoon and was driving through North Arlington and remembered district taco right on Lee Highway. I stopped in and I had a couple à la carte tacos and being a vegetarian it was exciting to see they had a plant-based meat substitute on their menu. so I ordered two Itza tacos prepared the way I like them on corn tortillas and I have to say they were some of the best tacos I have ever had, bar, none. Just for reference, I eat a lot of tacos so I would know a great taco, and those were spectacular. Thank you district taco for offering a vegetarian option and for preparing such an amazing taco. I will be back. ☮️“

ive noticed that a alot of the members have improved there english since my first review, they have improved greatly in the service realm. Also the quality of the food is amazing for it's price. To describe it in simple terms is... It tastes like the staff care about the foods flavor. My usual meal costs 12-13 dollars.
Really helps me out (who is a struggling college student) get quality food. I'm so happy there not raising the price like othe restaurants are. If I order the same at Chipotle, I would pay 16-18, for less quality food that honestly tastes like cr*p. Compared to qdoba's 12-13, well portion food, and in generally better cooking.

One thing I want them to improve is to make breakfast last anther 30mins. There been a few times where I get there 10 mins late and breakfast is over.

Signs on the truck indicate that you can order in English via phone but I was fine with limited Spanish :) cannot recommend enough. “My husband and I ordered chicken and birria tacos with horchata and agua de jamaica. They gave very generous portions and the service was great. Super fast! My husband loved the agua de Jamaica. The tacos weren’t particularly our fave, but would be open to trying other things on the menu.“

Parking is tight, and strip mall location leaves something to be desired. A bit overpriced but still popular with families.“
