“I had visited a Chopt once before, but my recent visit truly stood out. This particular location is one of the cleanest and friendliest I have encountered.

I received a warm welcome from the staff, and I was impressed by the expanded menu offerings, especially the addition of steak and salmon. Carlos, one of the managers, recommended the Southwestern Steak Salad with avocado and a blend of chipotle ranch and Mexican Goddess dressing. It was absolutely delicious!

Despite it being a busy lunch and seemingly fewer employees working, Carlos took the time to provide recommendations, and his suggestion was perfect. I will definitely be returning.

“CAVA is ideal for hosting groups. I like their website. It is very convenient and user friendly. I usually pick the pre fixed combo from the menu and it works well. Last time I chose to make my own. The user friendly website made us so easy to pick exactly what you like within limits of offering. For the first time I received my order slightly mixed up. I asked for dressing on the side and it came dressed-in. I ordered it with pita 🫓 which never arrived. The food was still good. I'm not sure if I shouldn't just stick to the preset combinations.“

He came to us with all the sauce flavors to try. He took his time to explain everything. He checked up on us to see how we were doing. He also came and recommended dessert which was sooooo good. “We did take out and couldn’t have been more surprised at how great the food it. We each had three good sized tacos, had plenty of meat and other yummy fillings, adequately messy so you know you just had an excellent taco. This will definitely need to be a repeat in our eating out list.“

“We stopped in for lunch after my Daughter's Gymnastics Competition this morning! The staff were Awesome! She was still in her gear and medals from the Competition and everyone was saying congratulations to her! This absolutely made my 9 year olds day even more special, when they brought her a tray with desert and congratulations on your great day written on the paper! “The Chopt in Ballston is a gem! It’s just a block from my office, so it’s become my go-to spot for a healthy lunch. Everything is crisp, colorful, and flavorful! The dressings are delicious (Mexican Goddess is my favorite!) and portions are generous without being heavy.
The staff here are always friendly and efficient, even during the lunch rush. I usually try to sneak over a bit early before noon to beat the crowd, and it’s always a smooth experience.
If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, wholesome meal that actually tastes great, I highly recommend the Chopt Ballston location!“

“I had the local strawberry and watermelon salad and it was the most original and delicious thing I've eaten all summer. Combines sweet and juicy with crunchy and savory, with a great house-made dressing. I wish I'd tried this place sooner.“

“German decor and menu. Started with hot spiced wine and coffee cocktails. Potato soup was tasty, but the potato cakes were the star. Crunchy on the outside and creamy inside. Entree's were solid - Jager schnitzel with an extra side of mushroom sauce and Chef's Special- meatballs, dessert & coffee. Spaetzle side was really filling - couldn't eat it all. Variety of dessert options - we did apple streudel and hazelnut cake. Good but not great. They make reservations on the half and full hours. We arrived early for a 6:30p and were seated early. By 7p, the place was full. It has a lot german decor and feels cozy. I saw beer boot glasses behind the bar and think this would be a good place for an oktoberfest experience.“
