“On Tuesday, August 26, we were three persons at an early dinner on a Tuesday night. The service was superb and the food was absolutely delicious. I wish we had taken photos of the huge spring rolls with shrimp. My friends had Green curry, and Pad See Euw (sp) and I had Pad Thai, my test for first time at a Thai place. All the dishes were lovely with generous portions and the atmosphere in a little private alcove was great. I plan to return next week after visiting Glenstone.“

“I ordered takeout for my family on the way home from my son's soccer game. We got home and realized there was no rice for the three curry dishes. I called the restaurant, and they apologized and then drove half an hour in a thunderstorm to deliver the rice to us. The food was amazing, and the service was perfection. “I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. “Had a late lunch and everything was delicious and food came out nice and hot. Daughter had two orders of dumplings, which were tender and filled with pork. I had panang curry with fried tofu. The vegetable and tofu were cooked perfectly. The curry sauce had the perfect amount of heat. My husband had the panang curry with chicken. It was also perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was attentive and prompt. Overall loved this place!“

Being that I am half Laos I love the laos papaya salad here because a lot of thai Resturant try to do laos papaya salad and it just don’t taste the same . The chef is actually laos . The Resturant is calm and soothing atmosphere , good for intimate dinner or family gatherings.“

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

“Thai food is one of my favorites. That said, Kob Kun ranks as average.
I arrived solo for dinner at 630p on a Wednesday evening. I was pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but it's very cozy, warm, and inviting. The soft lighting and comfy booths lends itself to lingering conversation over a meal.
My server brought out complimentary edamame. The edamame was cold and bland. Had the edamame been fried and crispy hot, this would have been a welcome treat. Also, I have a sneaky suspicion the edamame is recycled from one patron to the next.
My order of veggie spring rolls was hot and crispy, but tasted pre-made. Like the grocery store, frozen type. The doughyness of the interior crust was a dead giveaway that these spring rolls are processed.
My entree was the Kob Kun fried chicken pieces with white rice and veggies. It arrived to my table lukewarm, which is odd because the place wasn't very busy.
The fried chicken pieces were the pre-battered, machine shaped, pieces of chicken. Clearly, they weren't hand battered. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste buds. The dish included a nice variety of mixed veggies.
This is Thai food for an American palate. I'd prefer a more authentic experience.“

“After a friend recommended Buzz Thai Eatery, I’ve eaten from there several times. The staff are always friendly, courteous and extremely patient whenever I have questions about items on the menu. The food portions are generous and the flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend Buzz Thai Eatery, especially their buuz & khuushuur (they’re my favorite so far.) “this is really great Thai food at an inexpensive cost. Because I live in Bethesda and the rest restaurant is up Rockville Pike. It usually takes me about 20 minutes each way to get there. So that should be some indication that I love their food given that I’m going to spend 40 minutes just to go pick it up. They are Halal and so only chicken and beef dishes or vegetarian dishes no beef. And the food taste so good. I could care less if it’s beef, chicken or pork.“
