“Charlee's Butter Cream Dreams really is a dream. Lena was great to work with. I shared our color scheme and the invitation for the party, and her creativity went to work. She came up with some beautiful cupcake toppers and made custom numbers for a 75th and 80th birthday party. Not only were the cupcakes beautiful. They were moist and delicious. The cupcakes were much better than cupcakes I tried from other bakeries. I highly recommend!“

People were genuinely shocked when they found out it was vegan! Not only did it taste amazing, but it was also stunning—exactly what I envisioned. Working with Sarah was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life beautifully. “Ordered two pies for delivery after seeing pics of a charred sourdough crust on Reddit. It’s a bakery so of course the crust is GOATd. The pizzas are huge and the Peruvian chicken one really stood out. Juicy, smoky, earthy with a fruity spiciness. Truly top tier stuff from Baltoz.

Only complaint is that they don’t sell any of those bomb as pastries for delivery. To be fair, many of their pastries look delicately laminated (very flaky, buttery, crispy) so they might not survive the trip with a Baltimore driver behind the wheel. I’d still risk it though 😂😂😂“

“This place still is the best in Baltimore for baked goods/ pastries. There can be a line depending on the time but it’s worth it. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. Plenty of coffee drink options. Inside is small but they have covered seating out side so you can enjoy your treats. Most recent visit I got an almond croissant and it was amazing, definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. It was crisp and flaky chewy, right amount of sweetness with the perfect balance of almond flavor. This place is a Baltimore must stop, definitely recommend and will be back for sure.“

The line is very long but the wait wasn’t that bad and we went mid morning on a Saturday (maybe 15-20 minutes, see photo for where we started). Everything tasted fresh and also kept its texture well later into the day. There’s seating both inside and outside and plenty of standing space to chat outside if it’s really packed. The monkey bread was our favorite, but the coconut pandan was also fantastic. Also, the crab dip bagel definitely is as rich and luxurious as people describe. “I’ve been coming here for around 7 years now and Yia Yia’s has never disappointed. Our family and friends frequent this shop as well. They have a great selection of sweets and treats! The first thing I ever tried was the Super Atomic cake, which is absolutely amazing. I had never tried baklava before here and I really enjoy theirs. “I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. “While on vacation we always love to visit local pastry shops. This place had the best apple Danish I have ever had. You could tell they made the apple filling from scratch and it wasn't that crappy stuff out of a can. The pastry itself was incredibly flaky and delicious.

My husband had a ham and cheese croissant and he was sad we didn't get more. Said it was absolutely incredible.

We got a couple other items but haven't tried them yet. I imagine they will be just as amazing as the others.
