Parking: It has ample parking, you just have to be careful since the drive thru is a few steps from the entrance. It is necessary to be attentive.“

“My family and I went here for Father's Day dinner. The service was amazing. The food wasn't the best. The breaded catfish was bland. The burgers were dry, the wings were the best thing we all agreed on, and the drinks were watered down. My daughter's ordered the lemonade, and it had a funny smell to it. It wasn't busy at all. The ambiance was good. Overall, the rating was a 3 star only because of the food.“

“My family and I just ate here and everyone really liked it! We tried dishes including the bibimbap and Korean BBQ both with the beef bulgogi, plus chicken yakisoba and the beef bulgogi tacos. Then we finished with the ice cream sundae as well as the fried ice cream, and split each five ways. The fried ice cream was the favorite.

I thought it was me because I have hypertension, so I brought some to family members to taste the pieces that I didn't eat and I only bought three pieces. We agreed the flavor is amazing and it does taste like New York chicken, however again very salty. We are New Yorkers so we know what New York chicken tastes like. The sweet potato pie, give me flashbacks from my Bronx days at Kennedy chicken on Laconia lol the roll even taste like a NY roll.. hopefully this helps.“

“This is one of my main goto spots...Its takeout but the food has that "sitdown" restaurant quality...Always order ahead of time because they actually take time to prepare the food...Food is always fresh...I usually order the grilled chicken sub toasted with fries and a large hibiscus tea...Paid no more than 12-15 dollars when the fries alone are enough to fill you up before you even get to the grilled chicken sub packed with cheese, grilled chicken ( not that steak-um chicken) and sauteed vegetables ?

“I always smell the chicken from this place when I drive by. It smells wonderful, I decided to stop and try them. I got two pieces of chicken, fries, biscuits, and mumbo sauce. The chicken was crispy and juicy inside. The mumbo sauce was really good. The service was wonderful, especially since I didn't know what they had at 1st. “This location without a doubt is the best Nandos location I've had the absolute pleasure of visiting during my time in DC. I visited DC over a year ago, and tried Nandos for the very first time and was absolutely blown away by the quality, affordability, and the options available, it was so good in fact, that my friends and I visited this location MULTIPLE times in a single weekend.

The atmosphere here is lovely, and everyone working here is friendly and genuinely cares about maintaining a well running and consistent establishment, the managers seem to be on duty and working just as much as every other employee and that is how it should be at a place like this in my mind.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to DC and was pleasantly surprised that this Nandos was just as good as I remembered it being a year ago, and I hope that it continues to be a staple of my DC visits in the future (we went more than once again and I have zero regrets). Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you can.“
