“Wow! Such amazing pizza. The crust is so well made- beautiful wheat sourdough focaccia. Crunchy on the outside, soft of the inside. The toppings were high quality and thoughtfully sourced. Honestly my perfect pizza- it was incredible. I didn’t get a photo because I ate it too fast.“

“Unbelievable experience at what initially looks like a carryout restaurant. When we walked in we knew we were gonna take our carryout order and sit in. The menu has a lot of variety. The food came out fresh and made to order, but it did not take a long time. I looked at the reviews and saw that the Gyro over rice looked really good, it tasted even better!!

The owner was very relatable, and very hospitable. Though you order at the counter, they bring the food to you like at a sit down restaurant! It felt almost like I was eating at a family-friend’s or my uncle’s house!

“One of my favorite places for lunch! While they mainly offer salads, there are choices of warm bowls and grilled wraps too—you can get it as is, or have it customized. Lots of toppings to pick from. Good variety of dressings too, and if you need, they can give you a sample of the dressing to try first.

Staff are friendly and efficient. Even during the lunch rush, I never have to wait too long, the line moves fairly quick. If it’s your first time here, I suggest looking over the menu first so you’re not holding up the line looking at all the topping choices, it can be overwhelming. Also, they have a good amount of seating—benches, high tops and tables, and a few tables outside.“

“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. “Came in on a hot day (July 2025). Loved the noodles, ease of ordering on the monitors and good seating to work thru lunch break. The customer service was 12 out of 10. All the workers were friendly and attentive. They greeted everyone, cleaned up after each guest, and asked every customer how they were doing and if they needed anything. Kudos to the ladies in the kitchen. I do think the AC is broken so it can’t be easy. There were also no bathrooms so I wasn’t able to wash my hands.“

“So I came here for my first time on brunch sunday. And the service, vibe and atmosphere was everything everyone talked about. We had Michelle as a host and everything else. “The cocktails are on point. I had a Mezcal JungleBird and a Firing Squad. Both were delicious. My friends also liked their drinks. The bartenders were fun and entertaining. The one guy has a propeller on his vat - he is hilarious.

We had lamb kebabs, hummus, and charcuterie. The lamb was so tender and tasty - a little bit spicy with a hint of mint. I think that the hummus had beets in the recipe - delicious. They gave us so much hummus that we could have used more pita but we didn’t ask. The bresaola on the charcuterie plate was out of this world. I heard that they make a pretty solid burger but we already had dinner and we were just snacking with late night drinks.

Classy place. Framed prints of Alphonse Mucha’s work behind the bar - there is an Art Nouveau feel. Nice looking room.

Pretty great place - one of the best places in DC IMO. I really hope that it doesn’t get ruined by stupid drunks roaming around Dupont Circle.

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“Location was conveniently located in the mid-district, right off East Capitol Street (shrimp boat area). Customer Service was superb, the MOD was very inviting, and the food was seasoned well.

I appreciate the cashier inquiring about my food allergies and seasoning preferences.

Restaurant was clean and smelled FRESH!

Environment was well lit and menu had friendly prices.

I spent about $13 for salmon bites and fries..

This Restaurant offers delivery services thru parcel ordering (door dash, grubhub, Uber eats)

“Excellent place. The falafel wrap was outstanding chock full of falafel with the requisite salad, hummus and tehini. Even better when you add some hot pepper mix for a little spice. Spouse enjoyed the falafel platter which included a side of pita. Their fries were great, very crunchy. Their food is very authentic to various middle eastern countries that I have visited. The place is comfy, booths and a few tables. Service was quick and excellent. The owner is Palestinian and surely deserves our support. We highly recommend!“

“I like Chopt salads and especially like the kiosks in this location. It greatly speeds up getting your order.

My only complaint is that they need to stop letting homeless people come in and sleep at the tables. A woman was asleep at a table for over half an hour without buying anything. Nobody said anything while paying customers had nowhere to sit.“

“I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

The food is Greek Mediterranean. In comparison to Chipotle. I prefer CAVA food. It is definitely healthier.

I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. “We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! Very friendly kitchen and the waitress was very friendly. I’ll be dreaming of Sampannee for many months! So, so good!!“

My personal favorite dishes were the nachos and crab cakes. I remember that the service was excellent. We were seated in minutes, and it was still very busy.
