Atmosphere left a little to be desired, and I didn't like the counter service model at this pricepoint, but again, the steaks we ordered were perfect. “This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Great brews on tap and a few salads and sides on the menu to go with the pies. Can’t wait to come back“

“Great Taste, Nice Ambiance and Quick Service.“

“The cocktails are on point. I had a Mezcal JungleBird and a Firing Squad. Both were delicious. My friends also liked their drinks. The bartenders were fun and entertaining. The one guy has a propeller on his vat - he is hilarious.

We had lamb kebabs, hummus, and charcuterie. The lamb was so tender and tasty - a little bit spicy with a hint of mint. I think that the hummus had beets in the recipe - delicious. They gave us so much hummus that we could have used more pita but we didn’t ask. The bresaola on the charcuterie plate was out of this world. I heard that they make a pretty solid burger but we already had dinner and we were just snacking with late night drinks.

Classy place. Framed prints of Alphonse Mucha’s work behind the bar - there is an Art Nouveau feel. Nice looking room.

Pretty great place - one of the best places in DC IMO. I really hope that it doesn’t get ruined by stupid drunks roaming around Dupont Circle.

Parking: Not easy to park on the weekends.“

“Truly enjoyed finding this spot, the conversation with the owner and the quality of food! Nestled within a part of town not known for many good things this is a hidden gem and community haven. The work that they are doing to support the community is wholesome and awesome in itself.

Now to the food: ordered three orders of wings, two orders of fries, the double burger with cheese, salmon bites, strawberry cheesecake and strawberry lemonade. Everything was very fresh and delicious. One order of wings I saved until later and they heated up very well.

Not only will I be returning and would recommend a 10 out of 10! Try as much as you can from this black owned, women powered and community driven restaurant!

“As a Chef in the industry of Food and Beverage I appreciate good service and food. I was by myself as my daughter was attending a festival and I wanted to experience one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. It's reservation only.
This restaurant did not disappoint! The staff, food and customer service was above and beyond!! The only disappointment was that I was by myself and I had to sit at the bar and enjoy my food alone. Upstairs was the experience of what you see on TV. The beef short rib and the wagyu meatballs were to die for! Not a fan of DC but I would definitely return just for this restaurant!!! While walking from my hotel I noticed another restaurant of his that I'm willing to try if I'm back in the area.“

“I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“
