“I drove by and saw a line so I looked it up and saw a 4.9 rating. The truth is this is a 5.0 and it didn’t disappoint. I had a jerk plate and a lamb pita. It was sooooooooooooooo good. I will definitely be back. I didn’t take a picture of the food because i ate it right away lol. The portion for the platter was so big my husband and I each ate some and then we shared the pita lamb. “Some of the best halal I've ever had. I've been coming here for over a decade. The owner is an incredibly kind man, the food is delicious, and the price is unbeatable. Highly recommend. In case it's not obvious, this is a food cart, so there's no seating. That's not a negative, just something to keep in mind if you're coming for the first time.“

“Good portion size. it's a convenient concept if you need to eat with a group of friends with different preferences and restrictions. The place was a bit untidy after a seemingly busy day, but that's the only downside. I appreciate the outdoor seating and a spacious, clean bathroom.“

“I tried the Vegan Halal Bowl and it was absolutely delicious! The bowl came with rice and a fresh salad. I added french fries and topped everything with their white sauce—which was like a ranch, and honestly, I give that a 10/10 on its own. It brought the whole dish together and made it super flavorful.

The rice had a brown rice texture, and the salad was fresh and crisp with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and green peppers. I also had a side of pita bread or naan, which was soft, warm, and perfect with the bowl.
The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly and welcoming.

As a first-time visitor, I really appreciated the recommendations. Even the cook came out to suggest some items from the menu, which made the experience feel personal and genuine.

If I lived closer, it would've been a regular spot for me. hope to visit again soon. would recommend to anyone.“

“Everything was amazing! I especially enjoyed their lamb shank, so tender and juicy, perfect with the rice. The dumpling felt like a signature of theirs, and the sauce was really good. Fish of the day was cooked well but felt a bit pricey compared to their other items.

Parking can be hard to find, I went during weekday lunch hours but had to drive around the neighbour to find a street parking.“

“Best way to describe it is as an Indian inspired - chipotle, noodles &co, poke place, etc. choose one or more proteins, carbs, veggies, toppings, sauces.

It allows for a variety of combinations that one should find very satisfying. The portion size was pretty good and the value was also very good but consider the high rent location you are in and take that into account. Restaurants in that general area by the convention center are “expense account joints”. I was glad they were there when I just wanted to take my time and eat something satisfying in a quiet place.“
