“I don't love seafood & I never eat crab because I don't like the sweet meat. However, upon a recommendation of a few relatives, I had the crab cake platter. I enjoyed the flavor & texture very much & I ate the whole thing! There was a tiny piece or 2 of shell, but I honestly didn't mind it because it was so good. The fries & green beans were good as well. Though I would have preferred not to have any stems still be on the beans, they were fresh & nicely prepared. Thank you for a wonderful meal & experience.“

“Beautiful, up to date, clean and traditional is how I would describe the dining room. There is a lovely little stream that flows just outside the floor to ceiling windows. The food is excellent with big but not excessive portions. Good vegetarian selection.“

“I went to Gibby’s for the first tome last week. I went to get jumbo lump crab meat. It was amazing! I also picked up deviled eggs, a crab pretzel and coddies. All were delicious! Could not be happier.“

“I got wonton soup, shrimp spring rolls, and the house chow fun. The wonton soup was perfect. Perfect amount of flavor, only slight issue was that it was lukewarm. But once I stuck it in the microwave it was amazing. The spring rolls were very good. And the chow fun was pretty good, they do put a lot of onions and beef and not as much chicken and shrimp. But the flavor was pretty good. And the portion sizes are huge. I paid $12 for this dish and only ate about 1/4 of it. The only minor complaint I have is that they didn’t give me any duck sauce. I usually eat my spring rolls and wonton chips with duck sauce, and when I opened the bag to not find any I wasn’t too happy. I’ve never been here before, so maybe you have to ask them when you pick it up? But still, they should be asking you if you would like any condiments. But other than that, I had a great experience.“

“We come to eat at the Rosedale location maybe once a month. Even on long waits when we are extra hungry, we always request Draven because he is a rockstar! Our drinks are never empty and requests such as extra napkins, gloves, bibs etc are always met expeditiously. We never have to wait long for food and it is always fresh and hot. Our family are creatures of habit and we typically get the same thing every time. Let’s start with the clam chowder. A generous bowl with a heaping portion of clam. We especially enjoy the crackers on the side for our picky toddler to nibble on. For dinner I always get the Cajun boil with the hook n reel blend *spicy* with sausage and hard boiled eggs as an add on. I like to get a 20 oz. draft ipa. It pairs very well with the spiciness of the boil. Our toddler usually ends up with tenders and sweet potato waffle fries. Recently she has started to eat broccoli (hallelujah!) so we get that on the side as well. For a family of 3, we spend around $130. If you request Draven, please expect to be amazed by the service and expect to tip at LEAST 20% for impeccable service. For those bad at math, 20% of $130 is $26, which I like to bump up to $30. Sorry this was so long! If you got this far, enjoy your dinner at Hook n Reel in Rosedale. We always do!“

“I live in New Jersey and I have ordered multiple shipments from Kahler's regularly. I am very satisfied with the overall experience. All shipments arrived on time, were packaged will, and crabs received were as described in size when ordering. I have ordered from other sellers in Maryland and they have not been able to compete with the taste or quality. I would highly recommend ordering from Kahler's and not anywhere else. In my book Kahler's have the best crabs in Maryland for shipment and I will only be ordering from them going forward having tried multiple other places at this point. 5 stars all the way for Kahler's . “We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at Sotto Sopra last night and had the best experience! we were met by name at the door! Given prosecco when we arrived at our table! Had a delicious 3 course meal. And then dessert with sparkler! “I had a seafood boil delivered from Gnam Gnam last night and everything was amazing ! I got the shrimp, Dungeness crab, Maryland crab and it came with sausage, potatoes and corn. The masala sauce was delicious and the bag was so filling it was enough for at least 4 ppl to share. The price was so good I couldn’t believe we got so much food. Also I can tell from putting my order in that the owner/chef was very customer oriented. He added supplies that made clean up very simple. I will definitely be ordering from here again.“
