“Finally found my go to dining spot in Towson: Kathmandu did not disappoint. Manoj, owner's nephew, provided excellent service. Everything I ordered was pretty delish: veggie pakora, chicken soup and chicken gorkhali. Particularly loved the flavoring and spices of gorkhali, and sliced ginger pieces make each bite that much nicer. This will be a repeat dining spot for my Towson business stays. Highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Nepalese and Indian cuisine as many of their dishes are a crossover from Indian food.“

“I am a pure vegetarian and this is one of the nice Indian/Nepali places we have visited in Baltimore. The food was really good and the ambience was also pleasant. We tried below dishes:
1. Dial makhni - 4.5/5 - I think this was one of the best dal makhni I have ever had in the US.
2. Malai kofta - 4.5/5 - the malai kofta was very rich in taste and it had authentic Indian malai kofta taste.
3. Garlic naan 5/5
4. Veg momo - 4/5 - The momo were light in taste and fresh and the base chutney was tomato based which was really good.

Overall the food was really good and tasty but I think it's very heavy too. The portion sizes are really good too. We ordered medium size and malai kofta did not have choice for the size portion but it was large size and it was more than enough for two people. Your part“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! “I had an issue with my order from GrubHub that unfortunately led to me not receiving it but the manager called me two days later to let me know he was out for a couple days and was so sorry to hear about my troubles. He immediately offered to fix it and sent me the food I had been waiting on free of charge. He really made me feel better about the situation and like he cared. I have never had someone show me that level of concern for my issue. All my friends recommend this place, and I am happy to say that I do as well.“

“This is not a dine-in place, but IS a hidden gem in Pikesville. It's hidden at the button of an apartment complex. As they're Nepalese, they offer some dishes that are not on all Indian menus.

Their delivery is also quick. I tried this place on a whim, and they did not disappoint.

I haven't had any of their American, Chinese, or other fare, however.

“Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. I would recommend and do not have any bad reviews! Continue being a staple in the community.“

“By far the best food and service in Baltimore! I always come in for the lunch buffet and the food is DELICIOUS! A lot of options and sometimes there is this special desert that is this doughnut drizzled with honey(?) which I love, and always have it with the complimentary Nepalese milk tea. “I’ve been eating food from here since they opened and it was the best Pakistani style food I’ve ever had. For some reason they changed the (chickpeas) Chana masala and the Tika Masala sauce. It was perfect before please change it back I don’t like this as much!

“Got a menu in the mail so decided to try it out. I was not expecting the food to be anything special because places that sell all different kinds of food usually aren’t. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. I am definitely going to try the Indian food later but the pizza was the best local pizza I’ve had in a long time.“
