“Following the reviews, we picked this place and we are so glad we did. We had the fish tacos, bulgogi bao buns, Korean chicken with rice, and steamed dumplings. Everything was delicious and made fresh. The place is very simple but has everything you need. Also, ordering is very easy using their tablet. Keep in mind they don't have a restroom for customers as they do mostly carry out but they have a couple of tables inside and outside. My wife even said she liked her fish tacos better than the fish tacos from the restaurant Fish Taco.“

“Very nice noodle place with reasonable price. Noodles are very tasty. I like jajang noodle (#1) and the spicy seafood noodle. Other dishes are also good. One of our favorite to go places. The only thing is that once we went there at 5:30PM on Sunday because website says it closes at 6PM. However, we were told that the kitchen was already closed.“

“This is one our all time favorite Korean restaurant. Cozy atmosphere. A perfect place to enjoy some soju with friends and family. They serve traditional family style Korean food, in large shareable portions. Family run business, and service had always been great.
From crispy pork, katsu combo, pancakes, to traditional style soups and homemade spicy paste are all very delicious.
Over the years, their prices has gone up a bit, but still within reasonable range.
Easy parking out in the shopping center where the restaurant is located.
Highly recommended by @WineDinenVacay“

“For a Saturday night, I couldn’t recommend a better experience. It may be a bit pricy, but the food comes incredibly quick, and they provide shot glasses for the table with any order of Soju. While we were sitting and talking amongst ourselves, every once in a while, a gentleman named Lyon came to talk with us, and was a friendly, energetic soul. We talked at length about local Asian faire and even about local sources. From start to finish, it was an excellent, casual experience.“

“Elevated Korean food that is well made. I prefer traditional flavors but still recommend you give it a try.Galbi was very sweet.JapChae was very peppery. Added protein is placed on top instead of cooked together.Kimbap comes in a hand roll, I recommend you ask for it in slices instead. I don’t believe they toast the wrap or season it with sesame seed oil (wish they did!)Their ban chan (side dishes) are very good. The season dried radish is a bit too sweet.Overall one of the best Korean places in DC so far! But I still prefer the traditional flavors found in Annandale, VA.“
“The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a small cafe at the back of the Barlow building. Food is made to order and fresh. The woman who works there knew orders of regular customers by heart as well as their names. Great service. If you have an eye or other medical appointment in this building, this is a good place to grab a quick bite.
Excellent customer service!“

“When I first discovered this restaurant earlier this year, I was amazed at how good the food was and that it was truly all gluten free. I always get take out. I visited this restaurant in June and the chicken put in my noodle bowl was old or at least it tasted old, it was hard and crusty like it has been out all day. Yesterday on July 4th, I got another noodle bowl, while the chicken was fine...the noodles tasted old to the point where I actually could not finish eating the meal. I ended up throwing it out. I gave 4 stars because I didn't post on the several times the food was amazing. I'm not sure if it's new owners or what, but the food just didn't taste fresh my last two visits.“

“3.5 stars overall for a pick up order experience. Friendly service. Very casual mom and pop kind of place.
I ordered jjajangbap which is black bean sauce with fried rice (instead of noodles). This was decent although the sauce was a tad saltier for my taste. The fried rice looked and tasted decent and clean. My order was part of a combo which included the sweet and sour pork. The fried pork was too fatty and also had too many fried coatings but perhaps the to-go container made it worse as it was soggy. Some other places for this particular dish cut holes on the top of the container for ventilation so that it doesn’t get too soggy. But I think even with this improvement I would likely not have been happy with the dish as the pork was too fatty. The sweet and sour sauce to pour over the pork was too watered down although the fresh pepper slices were a nice touch. The side soup that comes with the dish was not flavorful at all. The fried mandu or dumplings were actually decent tasting.
I hope this review is helpful as I feel like feedback is a gift especially if you want return customers.“

“My favorite secret sauce wings are just as delicious as those eaten in Korea. I really like the batter, which is not thick and crispy. And the inside of the restaurant is very clean. Korean radish pickles, which are inseparable from Korean chicken, are a must.“

“I eat at Iron Age every time I pass through DC. It is an awesome experience with great food. The price is also very good at $30 for 90 minutes. I just can't order the shrimp because it is whole shrimp with eyes and all.“

“I went to try this place out and omg they even have seafood which I’m going back for to try out. I only tried the corn dogs which were good and big I liked the half sausage and mozzarella, the girl was really nice and helped me out with my order and recommended me the taro boba tea which was actually pretty good. They have a good atmosphere, kid friendly and they had some k-pop music playing in the back.“

“I went to eat there with my church friends (there was a huge group). Lucy took all our orders. If we had any questions she explained things in detail. I think there were 25-30 of us. Then she gave us all our food. She worked sooo hard. She was sweating and kept being kind. She aplogized for small thinks like one person not having a fork. She was the best waitress ive seen. Ive never seen someone work so hard and be so gracious at the same time. Thanks for all your hard work Lucy! You went above and beyond for us! You deserve a raise!“

“They're known for their soft tofu stew and have been in business for a long time. I went with their Short Rib Soup this time. Good flavor, but the meat wasn't soft. Probably need to cook longer or use better cuts. I'll go back for what they're best at.“

“This is my favorite place to go for Asian BBQ. They have so many choices of seasonings to put on your food while it is cooking and they put the vegetables and cheese corn right next to the grill to heat up. Their food is very fresh and comes with either ice cream or s'mores for dessert. You have the option to order off of the other menu because there is also a dumpling restaurant there or rent a karaoke room for you and your guests. A must try here is the watermelon juice, so refreshing!! The biggest complaint that I had from our last visit is that the server seemed overwhelmed and when we asked for more cheese corn she just placed a bowl of it on the table for us to put where it belonged, instead of putting it in the place next to the grill to warm. This hasn't been my experience before, but there is a first time for everything. Usually the service is spot on.“

“A modest place to get a different taste of fried chicken and Cajun style seafood. Really liked it and if you live or passing by give it a try because is good. *** be aware, if it says "spice" is flames ? so the top 2 spice selections are fire.“

“Finally decided to try this place. I have to come back to try the breakfast, but the whiting fish was good. Since it was close to closing I couldn’t try all of the sides so that’s why i can’t give it 5 stars.
Went back a few months ago and was able to try the greens and macaroni and cheese. They were both delicious!“

“There’s no decent KBBQ place to eat in PG and Howard counties except for those bigger franchise. I was impressed by this local owned KBBQ - the service is great, there are a lot of options to choose from, unique interior with salad bar, to name a few. Will definitely visit again and definitely recommend if you’re looking for some great AYCE restaurant around college park.“

“This seems to be a "real Korean" restaurant. There is a menu full of interesting choices. There is a lot of food with whatever option you choose. I went for lunch. There was a "lunch special." But, there wasn't anything special about the lunch menu prices. It was priced like any of the dishes on the regular menu. The service was nothing special as well. There were some older ladies working there who greeted me enthusiastically. But, they mostly disappeared after that. I reviewed the menu and waited longer than I wanted to place my order. I kept it simple with a Bibimbap. I've had many in my life. This one was OK. I've had better. It came with a bowl of rice and four (4) Banchan. Banchan are side dishes of vegetables. Those were good. I like the idea of Banchan. I ate my food. No one came to ask me if it was good, or if I needed anything. I finished and waited for too long for the bill. Finally, I stood up and signaled to one of the ladies. I didn't want to wait any longer. I got my coat and walked over to the cash register. I really did not think that a tip was deserved. I would go back to try some other things.“

“Good portion sizes and prepared fresh at your table. Music videos were cool and gave insight into the music culture in Korea. The bench seats are HARD! And the automatic tip added to my bill as usual sets me off. Limited dessert menu. I will go back to try the galbi next.“

“I didn’t know what to expect with such low ratings (was about to go to the Chinese-Korean hotpot place), but the food was delicious and fresh - flavors were just right. I did go on a “slower” weekday dinner. But for a Kbbq spot at this price point — this place is great! I would definitely come back. I wouldn’t be discouraged by the salty reviews. This place tastes authentic and great.“

“The app didn’t work, so I walked in to place an order to go. Yummy bibimbap! I purchased an additional sauce, which was smart since the sauce cups are SMALL! The spicy chicken was a good protein choice. I think the egg yolk should’ve been runny, but I understand this is a high volume business.
The restaurant is very dark and quiet. Lonely. I’m glad I was getting to-go. I’ll be back!“
