“Big screens in a small narrow room. It's an experience akin to a busy NYC pizzeria. The oven and toppings are right by the door in front of the general public. Order and watch it get built then baked. The crust is made in-house. In order to expedite service the crust is par baked. Pie names are unique and the topping combinations are well thought out. I can't say enough for the local Maryland style seasoned fries. This is a long standing family business with a back story in snacking nuts. That's how Nut House gets its name.“

“It’s been years since I’ve had Pho as good as I did today here. The pho was so flavorful, the ingredients tasted so fresh, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. And of course the meat was delicious. I got the P2 and my boyfriend got the P4. But the best part was probably the beef wrapped in grape leaves (the dipping sauce was so good I drank it when the beef was gone). Also we had the Thai tea and it wasn’t too sweet, which is hard to say for most Thai teas. Can’t recommend it enough.“

Chef Paul is amazing and he told me he doesn’t believe in catering or delivery because South Indian food is best served hot and fresh and I couldn’t agree more! The Idlis melted in my mouth. The dosas were just perfect - the masala and chutney and sambhar -10/10! Go - no run to this place!“

We joined "DINE OUT MARYLAND" and saw Libs Fulton was on the registry. Four of us had reservations at 4:00 we asked to be seated at a 6 top and the hostess just smiled and seated the 4 of us. Then noticed that Kevin was once again our waiter. He took the drink orders perfectly. Unfortunately, my BEEF & BURRATA was tepid at best. Kevin nicely removed and had remade without issue. The MOD brought my diner back pipping hot and apologized with a smile. Prior to ordering, we had inquired if the Dine Out MD was accepted and provided our ID. Keven again handled. Next another personable young man brought back the bill and spoke with us. He was informing us of the upcoming expansion of the Libs restaurants. He stated he was going to be at the new location in Towson. Great experience. All three individuals showed great customer service. BTW - our food was delicious....“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! “A cute place in a cozy spot filled with joy and anticipation. The menu changes often so, if you look online and salivate at one of the photos, there is a good chance what you desire has morphed into something else. But fear not, the chef has surely created something new you willingly dive into.

I had the beef short ribs Chinese style. As my mother would say, when she is commenting on a dish, it was nice. That is a higher praise than most, but I feel it was appropriate for this dish. It wasn’t what I was expecting for a place with such high accolades. More like Korean Kalbi with Szechuan spice. Just a suggestion, maybe work on the presentation and add some coconut sugar to the marinade to balance out the flavor of the dish. It was served with an apple slaw that was also, nice, as it was the tangy acidic element to the dish. As the meat was spicy and the slaw tangy I was left yearning for that great balance of flavor great asian food has—spicy, sweet, tangy all in one bite.

I also had the lotus dumpling and that was delightful— maybe the same critique, just missing one thing, but I can’t put my finger on it yet.

The food was good and would definitely go back if I could find a nice date (almost impossible nowadays unless you pay upfront). Service was excellent and the ambiance made you feel warm and welcome. You should try this spot and order a lot more than I did to get a true experience of what this place has to offer.“

“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. Everything was super fresh, flavorful, dynamic without being overly salty or sweet, just delicious and interesting and well balanced. I can’t recommend it enough. The cherry on top is that it’s also super reasonable. Parking is a little dicey in that area but if you look in the residential neighborhoods, you’ll eventually find something. If you can, Uber to it that’s even better.“

Today I ordered a door dash pick up which was accidentally sent to the DC location. The Bethesda manager was super helpful and accommodating and they actually helped me out and switched the order! “I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious.
