“We have nothing but great dining experiences at Rimtang. It’s our go-to Thai spot in Georgetown and always hits the spot. Our favorite dishes are the crab dumplings, the ka praw with pork (add an egg!), and the pad see ew. Service is always on point, they have a kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend!“

“I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! Very friendly kitchen and the waitress was very friendly. I’ll be dreaming of Sampannee for many months! So, so good!!“

“Great experience. The food and friendly atmosphere reminded us of our time in Thailand. We tried several dishes, all of which came out right. Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. The location and ample parking made coming and going a breeze each time. We'll be back.“

“Wow. One of the best Thai restaurant I had in awhile. Noting about the menu is Americanize and true Thia taste . Being that I am half Laos I love the laos papaya salad here because a lot of thai Resturant try to do laos papaya salad and it just don’t taste the same . The chef is actually laos . The Resturant is calm and soothing atmosphere , good for intimate dinner or family gatherings.“

“You can't beat the location of Pantry, right at the Petworth-Georgia Ave Metro station. I've been a loyal customer here since around 2014, back when it was Sah La Thai, and the quality has never dropped. The service is always good, and the food is consistently fresh. My son and I agree: the rice dishes, noodles, sushi, and wings are all absolutely yummy and our go-to favorites. A true neighborhood staple.“

“Was disappointed that almost half of the menu was not available when we visited during lunch hours. Wanted to try the mac n cheese, crab cakes, ribs… none were available. Service was also a bit dismissive. We happened to come on a very hot day and there was no AC - it was just as hot as outside. Still giving 4 stars as the food we did have was good. Especially enjoyed the wings and breakfast wrap.“

“I ordered takeout for my family on the way home from my son's soccer game. We got home and realized there was no rice for the three curry dishes. I called the restaurant, and they apologized and then drove half an hour in a thunderstorm to deliver the rice to us. The food was amazing, and the service was perfection. “The best Thai restaurant in the East Coast. Worth every second of my visit to DC. I’ll be back next year with my wife. And order the same thing: shrimp rice with pineapple and cashews (Khao Pad Sapparod). And for dessert: ginger ice cream. Service was awesome as well.“

“I brought my friend who has lived in Thailand and she told me that their food is very authentic. I knew it was different from most of the Thai food I have tried in the past. You can just tell from the nuance taste. Only real locals can make that difference.“

“this is really great Thai food at an inexpensive cost. Because I live in Bethesda and the rest restaurant is up Rockville Pike. It usually takes me about 20 minutes each way to get there. So that should be some indication that I love their food given that I’m going to spend 40 minutes just to go pick it up. They are Halal and so only chicken and beef dishes or vegetarian dishes no beef. And the food taste so good. I could care less if it’s beef, chicken or pork.“

“Neighborhood gem! I have been going here for years and still find it to be some of the best thai food in the area. So many anazing dishes it is hard to pick- really recommend the green curry tofu, the drunken noodles, the spicy eggplant, the pinapple thai fried rice, the list goes on! I will always come back here- nice for carry out or eating in. Great, friendly staff too.“

“My Mother and I went here for lunch this past Saturday, and the food is absolutely delicious! Nice little spot in Bethesda, and you have the option of sitting in if you'd like. There are Nice Young Fella's who work here, the food is Very Affordable, and the food comes out fast and hot. They have Vegan Options Too. I highly recommend the Kua, Gai Noodles with Shrimp 🦐. If you enjoy Thai Food, you'll enjoy this restaurant!“

“The food was hot and delicious. I had the steamed veggies and the blacken chicken. The food price was reasonable (7.75). Drinks are a bit pricy but its located in a food court so you can find a beverage at close location for $1. And the only (oh really) factor was when I got my receipt they had charged (without notice) .05 for the bag the put the food in as take out "at a carry out restaurant". I was in the area for 4 hours my next meal did not charge me for the receptacles the supplied me with.“
