“It's a small place, but nice ambiance. 2floors, so the child screaming sent some downstairs, then it was fine. Busy place including take-out orders (we were right by the door, but didn't bother us as there's a glass separation). Food was delicious & knowledge of gluten free was good. Found them using In-Kind, so we'll be back!“

“We are visiting from Tennessee and wanted authentic Thai cuisine. We found it at Sampannee!!! The best Thai meal I have ever eaten. The cocktails were delicious and the food was perfection! Very friendly kitchen and the waitress was very friendly. I’ll be dreaming of Sampannee for many months! So, so good!!“

“I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“Great experience. The food and friendly atmosphere reminded us of our time in Thailand. We tried several dishes, all of which came out right. Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. The location and ample parking made coming and going a breeze each time. We'll be back.“

“I absolutely love Pantry!! It is my go to guilty pleasure. I basically order take out once a week from here. The pork fried rice in my favorite and arguably the best fried rice in the city. I also LOVE the sushi and always get the tuna avocado roll. This place is super accommodating if you have gluten allergy, they can make most rice and noodle dishes gluten-free and they even have a gluten-free soy sauce! Service is always a 10/10, they are super sweet. They also have pretty good happy hour deals and a market that sells gluten-free Ramen noodles. If you can’t tell already, I love this place!!!!“

“First time visiting and plan to come back soon. CJ at the bar was awesome and makes delicious cocktails and was very friendly and welcoming. Nat was also very helpful and let my fiend and I know about Happy Hour specials so we know when to optimize our return visit!

“I ordered takeout for my family on the way home from my son's soccer game. We got home and realized there was no rice for the three curry dishes. I called the restaurant, and they apologized and then drove half an hour in a thunderstorm to deliver the rice to us. The food was amazing, and the service was perfection. “I found this amazing Thai restaurant at DC the owners are really nice, and had excellent food, we order: Street food Pad Thai tofu and Regent Noodle Pork.
The ambience is so authentic, the music is varied and not boring at all, the decorations are always changing, is my to go food and comfort they cook with love and give you enough with a great flavor. They make everything fresh and healthy all the time. They also give you drinks with 2 onz shot not like other bars, my favorite cherry 🍒 Boom or Spicy Margarita. I always like to come back.“

“Was disappointed that almost half of the menu was not available when we visited during lunch hours. Wanted to try the mac n cheese, crab cakes, ribs… none were available. Service was also a bit dismissive. We happened to come on a very hot day and there was no AC - it was just as hot as outside. Still giving 4 stars as the food we did have was good. Especially enjoyed the wings and breakfast wrap.“

“this is really great Thai food at an inexpensive cost. Because I live in Bethesda and the rest restaurant is up Rockville Pike. It usually takes me about 20 minutes each way to get there. So that should be some indication that I love their food given that I’m going to spend 40 minutes just to go pick it up. They are Halal and so only chicken and beef dishes or vegetarian dishes no beef. And the food taste so good. I could care less if it’s beef, chicken or pork.“

“Neighborhood gem! I have been going here for years and still find it to be some of the best thai food in the area. So many anazing dishes it is hard to pick- really recommend the green curry tofu, the drunken noodles, the spicy eggplant, the pinapple thai fried rice, the list goes on! I will always come back here- nice for carry out or eating in. Great, friendly staff too.“

“The food was hot and delicious. I had the steamed veggies and the blacken chicken. The food price was reasonable (7.75). Drinks are a bit pricy but its located in a food court so you can find a beverage at close location for $1. And the only (oh really) factor was when I got my receipt they had charged (without notice) .05 for the bag the put the food in as take out "at a carry out restaurant". I was in the area for 4 hours my next meal did not charge me for the receptacles the supplied me with.“
