“General Tso’s shrimp is my go-to and it has jumbo shrimp. Shrimp egg foo young with SFR is good. Wonton soup is good. Not crazy about the sweet-n-sour. Order ahead because it’s just two people and it takes 40-mins. Surprised at all the complaints. The owner is polite to me and the food tastes good as Pimlico or Lexington Market. Find a dish that works and stick with that.“

“We gave Asian Palace a try for lunch and had a great experience. The Pick 3 Sushi Lunch Special is not only a great deal but also delicious! I get the Alaskan roll, Spicy Yellowtail, and Veggie Tempura roll with a house salad. All three rolls are so good and the salad dressing is amazing. We have also tried Chicken Satay (the best I have ever had), the Godzilla roll, Spicy Fancy roll and the egg drop soup. All were fantastic. We will be definitely be making this a regular spot!“

“We've been here twice and found the pulled noodles live up to the reviews! We had the spicy oil and the pork, both were fantastic. For sides we love the cabbage and tofu.

The second time we brought friends here and they were just as impressed. Their teen has a lower spice tolerance and was a bit nervous, but they enjoyed the lunch bentos.

Seating is limited so you may have to wait if you're not getting takeout, but the system lets you know where you are in the wait-list. For us it moved pretty quickly.“

“This restaurant is the best I've been in the city.
The food is delicious and not pricey, the ambiance is great, and the Peking Duck is amazing.
On top of that, management gives a lot of importance to each and every customer. It really feels like you are received as a guest, and not just as a client.

“The noodle soup was so flavorful and was perfect! I had the signature dish Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with thin noodles. The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Chopin Noodle House and look forward to trying more dishes on the menu. ❤“

“We visited this evening. Food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the soup dumplings! The staff was super courteous. I had brought in dessert (a cake) from outside and they were super nice about it. They even offered to refrigerate it for us! After dinner, they brought us fresh plates, forks and a knife. Despite being very busy they also don't rush you too much.“

“I've tried many of the highest rated boba in Baltimore and I've am disappointed by the majority. Yo Café is the exception. They have great (and consistent) boba, and I have enjoyed every drink I've ordered off their menu. We've loved roasted brown sugar, passionfruit green tea, mango pomelo sago.

(Note: This rating is for the boba, not food. The food was alright, 7/10, but we have preferred other options in the area. The service is great though!)“

“This place is a cozy gem. Good prices, service and less crowded than akira. Felt more private. To talk about the food..I had the Beef ramen with veggie broth and really enjoyed it. Also the lamb and chicken kabobs were SUPER well seasoned, juicy and fresh. We never wait too long for service or even to be served. The staff is pretty nice, havent ever had an issue with them; during peak hours they do tend to get a bit visibly stressed out but its understandable since its a small buisness . I'll add food pictures the next time I come by. The decorations give the resturant a cute/ welcoming charm..it has colored lights on the ceiling along with funko pops around.

“My husband and I come here often for date nights. We have an excellent experience every single time. The food is always incredible and the service outstanding even when it's busy. The vibe is calm, quiet, fun, and elegant. Highly recommend East Moon to those in the Ellicott City area!!!“

“A Linthicum Heights staple that never misses! The General Tso's Chicken is a family favorite — perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the portions are huge. Fast service, always hot and ready when you arrive for pickup. The menu has everything you could want from Chinese and Thai dishes.“

“i was hesitant bc it's hard to find a place that makes beef & broccoli the way i enjoy it. just gotta say... pleasantly surprised! i no longer have to go to columbia near route 1 for my favorite beef & broccoli anymore when i can get the same flavor and possibly even better quality right around the corner! the portions were supposed to be small... but they were GIGANTIC!!! Moms looked like she didn't even eat anything! she said she used to eat there all the time when she worked so she was happy to find it again... and that the quality was still on par! my beef was tender and flavorful and the broccoli was nice and squishy with a bit of firm crunch. soaked up all that flavor in the florets... just delicious! “Tried them for the first time today and am sold. Best Chinese food my wife and I have tasted in ages, and we lived in NYC for 4 years. Singapore mei fun - excellent. Happy family - excellent. Combination fried rice - excellent. Shrimp egg rolls - best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Steamed dumplings - very good, but the wrapping was a bit thick and the sauce was a bit scanty. We look forward to trying many, many more selections. Great job!“

“Best steamed dumplings and wonton soup/egg drop wonton soup around. Dumplings are made in house and are full of meat. The wonton in the soup are full of meat too with a great broth. I haven’t been disappointed with anything there but those soup and dumplings are my go to dinner and it hits the spot every time.“

“The best food you will find in the area! We live in Pennsylvania and drive the 50 minutes to have dinner here. The owners are so friendly, food is always fresh, and the restaurant is always clean. “I've been here before a while back and got the Mongolian beef. I have to admit it was very tasteless just didn't have that rich flavor I'm used to. But I didn't do a review back then because I didn't feel I was around long enough to check the place out. Went back yesterday. Service was incredible mainly because April was working. Really nice local crowd and you can feel that they like their watering hole and there's a lot of camaraderie. I ordered two things the first was the miso soup a very good size portion with lots of flavor. Then I ordered the cheeseburger. And this is where I have some issues. I love the combination of flavors when I bite into a sandwich anything that I have on it I want to taste it all at once. The issue I had it was a very large Burger perfectly cooked. But I think they were more about the presentation and the show me wow wow than constructing the perfect burger. When I bite into a burger I want to taste the lettuce the tomato the onion whatever condiments I have at the same time. Unfortunately I was unable to do this because if I stacked everything on the burger based on how thick the burger was I've have to bite I into an 8 inch sandwhich. As you can see from the pictures it was all about how big everything was. Well sometimes you need to adjust how you construct a good sandwich and I just think that's what they need to do because it was cooked perfect medium rare. Flatten the burger out a little bit. Put my lettuce and onion and tomato on it. And just use a little bit smaller roll. The sandwich is only as good as the roll you put it on and you really have to watch that bread to meat ratio. I actually want my burger to be constructed when it's on my plate. I do not want to be responsible for putting it together. I know that plating and presentation is important but I feel this is more about presentation than actual good concept and a comfortable intake. And yes I know I use the word constructed a lot in this review but that was the key problem. And I really love the idea that you have an option of fresh vegetables instead of fries. The only thing I can say about the vegetables they were very crispy and that's the way I like but they lacked a little bit of salt and pepper . I will definitely be back. I will try some other things. Then we will see if the review goes up to a 5 at some point, stays at a 4 at some point, or goes down to a 3“

“This is my go-to spot in Mondawmin Mall whenever I’m hungry and need something quick, cheap, and filling. I’ve ordered from China Yum at least 8–10 times now (mostly online pickup or delivery), and it never disappoints. The portions are HUGE — one combo plate (General Tso’s or sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll) easily feeds me for two meals, and it’s only $9–$12. Chicken is always crispy, sauce is flavorful (nice sweet heat), rice is fresh, and veggies are cooked just right.
Online ordering is smooth, food is ready fast even during lunch rush, and the staff is friendly and gets the order right every time. Delivery through DoorDash/Uber Eats comes hot and accurate too. For mall food court Chinese, this place is consistently the best option in the area — way better than average. If you’re shopping at Target or just passing through, stop here. You won’t be mad. “Returning after 30 years, I was amazed to find the same owners at Peking Chef. While the world outside has transformed, the heart of this place hasn't changed. They still serve food made with integrity and warmth.
