“How could anybody complain when we’ve just been through a pandemic - We’ve been through a shutdown, many thousands of people have died, schools closed & kids had to learn from home (and then had hybrid learning), many businesses folded & people lost their jobs, the job market changed & people worked from home - Prices went up considerably which made it much harder for some people to get by & many could not make it - I feel that it is remarkable that The River Tap & Grill has done as well as any restaurant out there - Kudos to the owners, the staff & to all the others who have made this possible -“

“We just had out winter get together with our campground friends Saturday night. We had about 55 people. I met with the owner to make arrangements and make sure it would all work out a few weeks beforehand. Gianna was our waitress and she was amazing!! Top notch in fact!! The food was delicious. The drinks stayed full while we waited for the food. They apologized a few times about the wait as they said the kitchen had gotten backed up but none of us noticed. Great time was had by all!“

“We stopped by on our way back to New Hampshire from Bailey’s Island, pleasant find after driving through Portland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we were able to dine outside on a sunny afternoon. I had the 3-lobster dinner, my wife had the broiled clams and haddock. Super delicious ! “Excellent service by bartender in Gorham on Sunday evening. My friend was rude, unreasonable and embarrassing. The bartender provided excellent service throughout very stressful interaction with my friend who was way out of line and extra, all over mint and a Mojito. You deserve an award for your professionalism and kindness.“

“We had our first Angelo’s pizza tonight. It was a Carbonara pizza and it was fabulous! It was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Delicious and cooked to perfection, NOT over cooked! We loved the crust, thin-ish but not flat bread thin with a nice rim, not 1/2 the slice! Thank you, delicious! We will be back, for sure!!“

“My family recently got takeout while on vacation! My husband went in for pick up and observed a clean spacious dining area while being greeted by friendly staff. We had a chicken tender basket; and the steak and cheese sub. Both cooked wonderfully and we left happy and full.“

“The Whaler in Old Orchard Beach ⛱ Maine. First let me just say I really like this bar. Its got 3 fish tanks in it. Imagine a bar with fish tanks? There are two billiards 🎱 tables placed in a cool way. They have live music frequently at night. The bar has a whale theme from the pictures, carvings, and overall theme. Its really a cool sight. The bar is the closest to the Amtrak platform in OOB. It makes it my last stop after visiting. This is one of the few Bar locations that is open year round around The Pier in OOB. Its across the street from the platform. I take the train a lot and will be visiting when the tourist season slows down. Its a fun historic place to settle into.“

“I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and hope it remains open forever.“

“So delicious!! Four of us went, we had the Maine lobster roll, crab roll, burger and fried lobster roll and all were delish!“

“Fried chicken burger and hamburger where delicious. Our server was sweet but running around ragged. We had to wait quite a bit for everything. Live music was good. The outside chairs were a bit uncomfortable but the atmosphere made up for it.“
