“How could anybody complain when we’ve just been through a pandemic - We’ve been through a shutdown, many thousands of people have died, schools closed & kids had to learn from home (and then had hybrid learning), many businesses folded & people lost their jobs, the job market changed & people worked from home - Prices went up considerably which made it much harder for some people to get by & many could not make it - I feel that it is remarkable that The River Tap & Grill has done as well as any restaurant out there - Kudos to the owners, the staff & to all the others who have made this possible -“

“We just had out winter get together with our campground friends Saturday night. We had about 55 people. I met with the owner to make arrangements and make sure it would all work out a few weeks beforehand. Gianna was our waitress and she was amazing!! Top notch in fact!! The food was delicious. The drinks stayed full while we waited for the food. They apologized a few times about the wait as they said the kitchen had gotten backed up but none of us noticed. Great time was had by all!“

The pulled pork nachos are my favorite thing I've had so far!
We went in with a large group and everyone's food came out hot at the same time. The wait staff were all super helpful and patient with a large group and kept the table cleared of dishes at every chance.

“This place is right on the strip. Awesome Location. Sit outside in their 2nd tier area and enjoy the views of the ocean and the amusement park. But the best has yet to come. Our server George was a notch above the rest. Guy was prompt, made us great drinks, very social, and added to what we thought was already a great time. George puts the icing on the cake. Ask him for one of his toasts and you'll be amazed. He's truly an example of great customer service. We look forward to our yearly trip to OOB. Now we look forward even more knowing George will be there and the great drinks that come with it.“

“We stopped by on our way back to New Hampshire from Bailey’s Island, pleasant find after driving through Portland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we were able to dine outside on a sunny afternoon. I had the 3-lobster dinner, my wife had the broiled clams and haddock. Super delicious ! “Excellent service by bartender in Gorham on Sunday evening. My friend was rude, unreasonable and embarrassing. The bartender provided excellent service throughout very stressful interaction with my friend who was way out of line and extra, all over mint and a Mojito. You deserve an award for your professionalism and kindness.“

“I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and hope it remains open forever.“

“We had our first Angelo’s pizza tonight. It was a Carbonara pizza and it was fabulous! It was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Delicious and cooked to perfection, NOT over cooked! We loved the crust, thin-ish but not flat bread thin with a nice rim, not 1/2 the slice! Thank you, delicious! We will be back, for sure!!“

“Absolutely electric experience , the craft brews were positively smashing! My only concern were the general use wash rooms , the lights were far to dim to insert my Mens Liberty Pre Lubricated Catheter. Missed several times but had a michelob ultra to guide my hands , 4.6 stars“

“Decent place for dinner. Nice, fun patio and love music. The ahi tuna App was good but would have been perfect if it wasn’t drenched in so much sauce. I got the Cajun fish tacos and they were way too seasoned and salty I could not finish them. Also they were kinda made upside down which made them hard to eat. There was slaw on the bottom, then fish then salsa. I switched to put the fish on the bottom. Easier to eat. My husband got the steak tips they were great and the mashed potatoes without the sauce. We don’t like sauce on our steak. Service was good too.“

“My girlfriend and I popped into OOB for a long weekend off season and GFB was the place to be. Live open mic blues night rocked our socks off with some serious talent including the likes of renowned guitarist Mike Hayward. Megs behind the bar remembered our drinks immediately and treated us with the best service around. The owners sat at the bar and we chatted music and fun stories of our pasts. We even stumbled in the following night for karaoke! Definitely the best dive in OOB!“
