“Stopped in for our first time to grab some lunch, and wow! Absolutely delicious!!! We got the chicken salad and the Italian and both were the freshest tasting sandwiches we’ve had in a long time! I was so excited to see that they use boars head for their meat and it comes with a generous portion to say the least!! We are hooked!! The owners are very nice and transformed this spot beautifully! I can’t forget to mention that I had to grab the Shain’s of Maine cookie dough ice cream as a family favorite treat!! If you’re in the area definitely make a stop in!! I can’t wait to try more of their menu and the soups they have to offer!! 🙌🏼 10/10!“

“Came in in a wintry Friday night, with wait about 30 minutes. We had the Portuguese stew, clam chowder, lobster Kristina. The food was tasty but not exceptional as far as seafood, though NE clam chowder was better than most I’ve had but this is New England so it should be! The ambiance and old town setting was remarkable although missed views of the harbor/water at night. The waitress was great, super friendly but not ever present - just right. Prices were a touch high but this is NH. Overall a lovely experience and recommend“

“This place is great! Tasty burgers - I had beef and my wife had black bean. She has high standards for veggie burgers and really enjoyed it. She got the burning down the house version and loved the flavor. I got the classic and really enjoyed it. Bistro fries were very flavorful and crispy.

One comment is I ordered burger medium and it had no color. Was still juicy and I’m not picky so I still enjoyed it. Just a caution to folks who prefer their meat less well done.

Also price is very reasonable and good value. Strongly recommend!“

“Best korean in New Hampshire! authentic korean. this is not korean bbq, though they do have kalbi. my favorite is soondubu soup, stone pot bibimbap, and japchae. I get it without egg and no meat. i enjoy dining in for the stone pot that crisps the rice, but also enjoy take out. everything is wrapped up good and safe. my family manages a severe nut allergy and eat here safely weekly.“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“I had heard about this place online and saw it was to far away from me and I was not disappointed one bit. This place is so incredibly cute and the atmosphere was so freaking amazing being able to sit down and drink my coffee in the sun was just amazing and just everything about the vibe of where they are located to the really awesome layout they have I have nothing bad to say, baristas were extremely nice and everyone was incredible there!

“So disappointed! Made a reservation a month ago, looked forward all month to trying the chicken sandwich. Went to order…OUT OF CHICKEN. Really?? How do you run out of chicken??! Insane. On a Friday night?? What we did order was good but it would take a lot to get me to return. The service was great as was the menu, but it’s inexcusable to run out of something on a Friday night around the holidays.“

“My boyfriend and I tried Sara Thai for the first time after passing through the area on a recommendation. We would give it a 10/10. Mai Tais were delicious. Pan fried dumplings were to die for. My boyfriend enjoyed the spring rolls. Pho was also delicious. They also proved to be very mindful of allergies. I have a shellfish allergy and after letting them know and placing our order; they realized the base of what I ordered had a ground up shellfish paste in it, they instantly came out to ask me if it was allergy or dislike. When I told them severe allergy they told me what on the menu I could get as they were out of the base of the vegetarian paste they could use in place of the shellfish one was. Not many chefs or restaurants would think of small ingredients like this being a contamination , so I really appreciated the awareness. Didn’t get pictures of everything, but attached is two great choices!“

“Amazing first time visit to the Portsmouth NH location…from the the decor…to the scrumptious meals we had, Chicken Cordon Blue Benny and an Omelet with a heaping side plate of various meats( sausage,bacon and ham) and not to mention bottomless coffee refills……however what stood out the most was our server Emma ! Emma - has a unique talent for making you feel like you are the most important person in the room, even as she was juggling all her tables. Emma is the kind of server who can tell you a great story and refill your coffee at the same time. Emma -thank you for making our visit so enjoyable..we will be back! But wait….first we have to try the corn beef(outstanding!) hash before we hit the road!! 😊“

“oh wow... what a find! We were looking for a seafood restaurant when passing thru the area and the name caught our attention. We had an amazing dinner! We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!“

“I got my Christmas tree at Emery Farm this year, and it was a great experience! All the trees were really nice and in really good shape, they sell cider donuts you can munch on, they had a cozy campfire going near the tree lot where you can keep warm while you're waiting, everyone is very friendly, and they are giving away a cute wooden ornament with a tree purchase! I wrestled it in my door and onto a stand, with minimal needle loss despite the manhandling. It may not be the cheapest option, but the quality is there and they make the experience worth it. If you are able to support local places instead of big box stores and corporations, it's really a good thing to do and it really does make a difference. It keeps our money in our community instead of the wallet of some big faceless far-off corporation. 🌲💚“
