“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“oh wow... what a find! We were looking for a seafood restaurant when passing thru the area and the name caught our attention. We had an amazing dinner! We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! Dinner and service were both top-notch.. and we can't wait to return!“

I tried to order online at 5am the same day but it would only let me choose the next day, so we made it there early (being a few hours away) and they had all their flavors (even the special holiday ones) stacked and ready to go!! My favorite has been the Pumpkin Spice Latte brioche donut this past fall season. (I am a frosting lover.) I love the Kittery location with its own parking lot and building. “Just had an amazing dinner at Walkers Maine in Cape Neddick! Our waitress Brook was fantastic, helping us navigate the delicious menu. We started with complimentary bread & oil, then devoured fried oysters. I enjoyed the short rib kofta with zucchini & German potato salad, while my friend savored the salmon entree. For dessert, we had to try the in-house-made sarsaparilla-glazed donuts & ice cream. Everything was top-notch!“

“Stopped in for our first time to grab some lunch, and wow! Absolutely delicious!!! We got the chicken salad and the Italian and both were the freshest tasting sandwiches we’ve had in a long time! I was so excited to see that they use boars head for their meat and it comes with a generous portion to say the least!! We are hooked!! The owners are very nice and transformed this spot beautifully! I can’t forget to mention that I had to grab the Shain’s of Maine cookie dough ice cream as a family favorite treat!! If you’re in the area definitely make a stop in!! “Amazing. My expectations were pretty high because of the reviews and somehow it was even better than I expected. I got a farmhouse burger with a soft egg and a mint chocolate milkshake. The burger was cooked exactly the way I like and the egg was picture perfect to the point I was almost sad to ruin it by taking a bite. The shake, my lord, what a treat. I am putting this place right at the top of my places to frequent going forward.“

“Amazing first time visit to the Portsmouth NH location…from the the decor…to the scrumptious meals we had, Chicken Cordon Blue Benny and an Omelet with a heaping side plate of various meats( sausage,bacon and ham) and not to mention bottomless coffee refills……however what stood out the most was our server Emma ! Emma - has a unique talent for making you feel like you are the most important person in the room, even as she was juggling all her tables. Emma is the kind of server who can tell you a great story and refill your coffee at the same time. Emma -thank you for making our visit so enjoyable..we will be back! But wait….first we have to try the corn beef(outstanding!) hash before we hit the road!! 😊“

“I have lived in NYC, Boston and Portsmouth surrounded by some of the best cuisines of every form. I have to say this is by far the best indian cuisine I have ever had. Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. Even the drinks worth a sip.“

Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. “Great menu, great food, (They bake those muffins every day and they are devine!) great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we are able to take our pup. The wait can be long on weekend summer mornings (10-15 minutes) but we used our time at the next door dog park while waiting. Unique local specials (Lobsters, blueberries, and crabs, Oh my!) and delicious coffee and teas. Try their blood orange juice freshly squeezed! You will not be sorry!“

“I was planning to go to a different downtown restaurant and walked in to this one as it started raining. The waitress took every effort to ensure our dietary requirements were taken care of. They had quite a few veggie burger options. We picked The Cool Beans, which came with a black bean and corn patty. She was quite transparent with the fact that they used the same fryer and oil for frying meat,veggie appetizers and fries. So, she substituted fries with freshly sliced avocado. The burger itself was thick and juicy. We ordered a PB& Chocolate milkshake that capped out dinner. They went out of the way to limit cross contamination. Will definitely return.“
