“This is a two part review… first about the food and second about the owners. The food: my boyfriend and I have been dying to try out the blue pig for some time now. We were able to get there this past Sunday and wow, just wow!! Every single thing on the menu looked amazing. We had deliciously flavored mimosas, their amazing boozy espresso, the spicy pulled chicken and a brisket Benedict special. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time… we will be back!! The owners, Paul and Brianna: the nicest and most kind humans! We rode our motorcycles there, something we haven’t done much this summer due to our crazy schedules.. after our wonderful meal, my boyfriend’s brand new bike wouldn’t start. We went back in asking for a couple tools to try and get it started. Both Brianna behind the bar and Paul in the kitchen took time out of tending to their very busy business to help us. Paul brought out tools, a jumper pack, and tried to help get the bike started. When it wouldn’t start, they moved their own vehicle and let us push the bike into their spot where their cameras would be on it overnight while we worked on getting a tow. To stop what they were doing and take the time to help us out while running a busy restaurant just blew us away. We are both business owners and understand the value of not only going above and beyond, but just being kind humans. The blue pig is our new spot, and we will be recommending to everyone we know!“

“Probably the best Thai food in the Westbrook area. Authentic cuisine with attentive staff if you order in. Take out orders are carefully prepared as well with the - much to one’s delight - occasional complimentary dumplings! They do big orders, too; our relatively large local company ordered a feast and every item was included and packed up with thoughtful care. A great find for Thai! Highly recommended.“

“Excellent service by bartender in Gorham on Sunday evening. My friend was rude, unreasonable and embarrassing. The bartender provided excellent service throughout very stressful interaction with my friend who was way out of line and extra, all over mint and a Mojito. You deserve an award for your professionalism and kindness.“

“Spent a relaxing late morning and afternoon visiting Mike and Leigh at their home, when we visited a local Micro Brewery & Tasting Room at 616 Main Street, Gorham, Main.

Mike ordered the "3 Little Pigs Pizza made with House Tomato Sauce, Cheese Blend, Nitrate Free Pepperoni, Italian Sausage and Bacon.

Leigh's choice was the Sebago Margherita Pizza made with EVOO, Cheese Blend, Oven Roasted Tomatoes,, Fresh Basil and Fresh Mozzarella..

My choice was the Spicy Muthah Clukah Pizza made with Garlic Cream, Banana Peppers, Fried Chicken, Jalapenos, Cheese Blend and Hot Honey Drizzle...

Kit decided to try the "Soup of the Day" which was a Creamy Potato Cheese Burger Bowl of soup.

All of the pies were baked in a very large stainless steel domed wood burning pizza oven that provided us with well baked hot pizza with good char to the undercarriage of the crust and the perfect crispness and soft fluffy outer crust ring with good texture and taste.

The fresh ingredients, taste and presentation would compete well with any New Jersey or New York Pizza I have eaten...

To balance the whole experience were the cold and great tastes from the Pints that we had with our pizzas.

My 2 pints were Runabout Red and Slick Nick

Mike enjoyed Frye's Leap IPA x 2

and Leigh had 2 Pints of STREETS OF ROME..

Everything was very delicious and filling.

None of us could eat another bite but I did take back to the Hotel a piece of the Cranberry Walnut Bread Pudding to rewarm in the microwave...

The dessert was very delicious after rewarming for 30 seconds, but the portion was small, maybe 3" x 3" x 1.5" for $10.00

Most other Bread Pudding are 4 or 5 inches for the width with a thickness of 3 to 4 inches“

“We brought our soccer team over for a team kick-off party and couldn't have picked a better spot. The staff was so friendly and excited to see us, the food/drinks were delicious, and all our families said it was the perfect spot to gather. We'll definitely be back!“

“I loved my salad and the service was good. The place is quite large (and not very busy) but there were long periods of time without service. Not our servers fault. Our booth was very nice and roomy but not visable to the rest of the restaurant. Our server really seemed to care. I was a little annoyed that the “free refillable sodas” that came with the kids’ meals was only for certain sodas. Not clear on the menu and not explained when we ordered. The kids would have been happy with cokes or sprites. $22 later on soda, when the bill came, we realized sofas weren’t so free. I don’t mind spending money but hate wasting it.“

“We stopped here after my husband a job in Scarborough, and wow… what an incredible surprise. The whole place has that true Maine vibe — cozy, welcoming, and super friendly. Our server Eric was awesome from start to finish. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and absolutely loved it. I had the butternut squash linguine with prosciutto, roasted squash, arugula, and their homemade crostini bread… incredible. I even saved half so I could enjoy it again another day. Hubby tried two of their 5oz beers (Space Ghost and Santa’s Reinbeer) and enjoyed both. But the show-stealer? The apple crisp cheesecake. 🍎 Hubby took one bite and said, “This is so good it should be outlawed.” And honestly, he wasn’t wrong. It was ridiculous in the best way. “Every time I go to a new city I try to find a nice place to have a cigar and relax. This place is JUST the spot for that. You can have coffee or liquors depending on what you want with your cigar, and the people are lovely. Wonderful atmosphere and the perfect way to kick off a vacation.“

“Very cool seafood shack on the water with a fresh seafood market and counter bar. Servers were all super friendly. Clams and shrimp were super tender and their chowder is fantastic too. Even on a semi cloudy day in the 60s before beach season really hits it was still pretty full up so I'd recommend doing reservations if you're going to be here in the next few months on weekends. Will definitely return on our next trip to OOB.“

“Kon is always a solid spot to stop in for fresh sushi and a good cocktail. Their happy hour deals are definitely worth checking out. Most of the time the staff is fantastic—this visit may have just been an off day, as they weren’t quite as friendly as usual. Still, service wasn’t bad, and the food more than made up for it. Overall, Kon remains one of the best places around to enjoy a great meal and drink.“

It’s a small place that seems to do big business. It’s one of those places that you might just drive by and not notice but you would be missing out if you do. “Went there last night for a birthday party and when i called they said they couldnt guarantee we all sit together but they would give a good try to get us next to each. Well half of us ended on one side of tbe restaurant and the other half on the other side with no attempt to be evern remotely close and that was me calling at 11 am. Secondly one half of us got there for a half hour before the other. Thirdly our service was very bad. they forgot to bring drinks to the table and the food was well done when asking flr medium rare. i have been there a ton but they definitely were way over there heads on a saturday night.“

“Greap place to chill and delicious craft beer. Please give people HEMP bags next time. 100% recycled ready bag. Better then paper bag that breaks in rain and all your craft beer is on the ground . We can even pay 2-3$ for HEMP bag to go. It's better for environment. Paper bag decomposition time in landfill in limited oxygen condition can take decades. Hemp bag in woods 3 months.“

“The other quite good Asian cuisine in the Westbrook area. I’ve mostly done take out here via their online menu order system. Food is consistently ready and hot to go upon pickup. Staff is friendly and family run. Make sure to ask for utensils as I’m noticing a lot of eateries stopped simply providing them with overhead costs going up. Two thumbs up for simple quality fare.“

“This restaurant is my favorite when visiting the Maine Mall. It’s located in the Food Court. The service is fast and the food is very fresh. The owners are very kind and considerate. When my pregnant daughter was in the line with her big belly (8 years ago) the owner pulled her to the front of the line and treated her to a meal. Great place!“

“First, for a game time Sunday lunch we were impressed that the staff handled the workload quite well while seemingly short staffed.
The bartender covered the bar and a few inside tables, and one other server handled the interior and exterior dining all by herself, and they both did so with a positive attitude and smiles.
The wings are always great and the fries were crispy but not over cooked as well.
The youngest had the Mac & Cheese and had enough left over for another meal at home. We enjoyed the silly names of the kids menu dishes, like “I DON’T KNOW” and “I WANT TO GO HOME” or “CAN WE GO TO MC’DONALDS?” 😆“

We couldn’t decide if the sandwich or pizza was better but all agreed if this place existed in Oklahoma, we’d be regulars.“

“Nice big place. Big bar. They have pool tables and dart boards here. Good place for big groups of people. Alot of tables. A couple of tv's and plenty of parking. The outside deck is nice with plenty of picnic tables and umbrellas. The food menu selection is huge. The food is pretty good. I feel like I'm always expecting more from the food. The chicken wings need to be cooked more.
I do recommend this place. I just tend to order things I know im safe with here.“

Last time i got lomein, and i was so high that i inhaled the whole container in like 3 seconds and didnt even taste it. Im sure it was good though.“
