“This is a two part review… first about the food and second about the owners. The food: my boyfriend and I have been dying to try out the blue pig for some time now. We were able to get there this past Sunday and wow, just wow!! Every single thing on the menu looked amazing. We had deliciously flavored mimosas, their amazing boozy espresso, the spicy pulled chicken and a brisket Benedict special. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored. Definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time… we will be back!! The owners, Paul and Brianna: the nicest and most kind humans! We rode our motorcycles there, something we haven’t done much this summer due to our crazy schedules.. after our wonderful meal, my boyfriend’s brand new bike wouldn’t start. We went back in asking for a couple tools to try and get it started. Both Brianna behind the bar and Paul in the kitchen took time out of tending to their very busy business to help us. Paul brought out tools, a jumper pack, and tried to help get the bike started. When it wouldn’t start, they moved their own vehicle and let us push the bike into their spot where their cameras would be on it overnight while we worked on getting a tow. To stop what they were doing and take the time to help us out while running a busy restaurant just blew us away. We are both business owners and understand the value of not only going above and beyond, but just being kind humans. The blue pig is our new spot, and we will be recommending to everyone we know!“

“Excellent service by bartender in Gorham on Sunday evening. My friend was rude, unreasonable and embarrassing. The bartender provided excellent service throughout very stressful interaction with my friend who was way out of line and extra, all over mint and a Mojito. You deserve an award for your professionalism and kindness.“

“Spent a relaxing late morning and afternoon visiting Mike and Leigh at their home, when we visited a local Micro Brewery & Tasting Room at 616 Main Street, Gorham, Main.

Mike ordered the "3 Little Pigs Pizza made with House Tomato Sauce, Cheese Blend, Nitrate Free Pepperoni, Italian Sausage and Bacon.

Leigh's choice was the Sebago Margherita Pizza made with EVOO, Cheese Blend, Oven Roasted Tomatoes,, Fresh Basil and Fresh Mozzarella..

My choice was the Spicy Muthah Clukah Pizza made with Garlic Cream, Banana Peppers, Fried Chicken, Jalapenos, Cheese Blend and Hot Honey Drizzle...

Kit decided to try the "Soup of the Day" which was a Creamy Potato Cheese Burger Bowl of soup.

All of the pies were baked in a very large stainless steel domed wood burning pizza oven that provided us with well baked hot pizza with good char to the undercarriage of the crust and the perfect crispness and soft fluffy outer crust ring with good texture and taste.

The fresh ingredients, taste and presentation would compete well with any New Jersey or New York Pizza I have eaten...

To balance the whole experience were the cold and great tastes from the Pints that we had with our pizzas.

My 2 pints were Runabout Red and Slick Nick

Mike enjoyed Frye's Leap IPA x 2

and Leigh had 2 Pints of STREETS OF ROME..

Everything was very delicious and filling.

None of us could eat another bite but I did take back to the Hotel a piece of the Cranberry Walnut Bread Pudding to rewarm in the microwave...

The dessert was very delicious after rewarming for 30 seconds, but the portion was small, maybe 3" x 3" x 1.5" for $10.00

Most other Bread Pudding are 4 or 5 inches for the width with a thickness of 3 to 4 inches“

“About six months ago I discovered this awesome little restaurant. I've been back three more times using both the in dining service and pick up. The server is very personable and accommodating to our spice preference. I never knew you could go above a five much less into the twenties! How exciting! Excellent pad Thai, tea, coffee, crab Rangoon, and sticky mango rice. Speedy online ordering and easy location to find. Go here. You won't regret it!“

“Went there for New Years Eve at the new location. They told us it was going be at least a 45 minute wait and we were ok with that. Host took our phone number and added us on the wait list on his tablet. Took a seat out by the host stand and waited. Another couple came in about 15 minutes after us, also a party of two, and the same host told them it was going be a wait and they took a seat next to us. Even though we had been there 15 minutes longer and greeted by same host with tablet, he forgot about us and seated them first. Even though we were waiting right next to them and he looked right at us when he came to tell them to follow him to a table. We finally just got a seat at the bar. We ordered appetizers, two rounds of drinks and dinner. Again told it was going be a wait because kitchen was backed up. That was fine. Got our drinks and appetizers. Then my girlfriend’s entrée finally came out but they forgot to bring mine! I thought it would be out in a few minutes, but after 1o more minutes waiting for my food I finally inquired, and they had somehow forgotten my entrée. They comp’d one round of drinks. Love the new location. Love the food. But we chose the wrong night to go! I’ve never gone out to eat and ordered the food and had them forget to bring my entrée out.. By the time I got my dinner my girlfriend was done with her food. Just asked them to bag it for take-away. Still tipped 20% as I’ve worked twenty years in resturants. Kind of disappointed with New Years Eve dinner. Took the night off early to go have a nice meal and they forgot my meal!“

“We LOVE an evening out at Tuscan Table, South Portland location in fact we go every week! Our preferred place to sit is at the bar where we know we will always get excellent service from our favorite server Sammy. Sammy always greets us with a friendly smile and remembers what we like to drink, she also remembers how we like each dish that is ordered prepared even if we forget to ask, she knows. Even though they don’t take reservations, we called ahead on Thursday to let them know we would have a big group coming. We waited just a couple of minutes for the table, our food and drinks were amazing and the service was fantastic. We have some particular eaters in our party and all were very happy. “Went there last night for a birthday party and when i called they said they couldnt guarantee we all sit together but they would give a good try to get us next to each. Well half of us ended on one side of tbe restaurant and the other half on the other side with no attempt to be evern remotely close and that was me calling at 11 am. Secondly one half of us got there for a half hour before the other. Thirdly our service was very bad. they forgot to bring drinks to the table and the food was well done when asking flr medium rare. i have been there a ton but they definitely were way over there heads on a saturday night.“

“I loved my salad and the service was good. The place is quite large (and not very busy) but there were long periods of time without service. Not our servers fault. Our booth was very nice and roomy but not visable to the rest of the restaurant. Our server really seemed to care. I was a little annoyed that the “free refillable sodas” that came with the kids’ meals was only for certain sodas. Not clear on the menu and not explained when we ordered. The kids would have been happy with cokes or sprites. $22 later on soda, when the bill came, we realized sofas weren’t so free. I don’t mind spending money but hate wasting it.“

“Very cool seafood shack on the water with a fresh seafood market and counter bar. Servers were all super friendly. Clams and shrimp were super tender and their chowder is fantastic too. Even on a semi cloudy day in the 60s before beach season really hits it was still pretty full up so I'd recommend doing reservations if you're going to be here in the next few months on weekends. Will definitely return on our next trip to OOB.“

We can even pay 2-3$ for HEMP bag to go. It's better for environment. Paper bag decomposition time in landfill in limited oxygen condition can take decades. Hemp bag in woods 3 months.“

“We recently visited the brewery tasting room on a girls trip to Portland after finding it on Groupon and would definitely recommend everyone add it to their itinerary! Paul was extremely informative, helpful, and lovely to chat with. We had a great experience doing the tasting flights! I’m currently not able to drink alcohol and they had a wide variety of non-alcoholic options that he enthusiastically accommodated me with - they even have a subsidiary company that specializes in non-alcoholic options.“

“We were pleasantly surprised at how great the pizza was here. Had just got in from driving up to portland and didn’t really want to go out somewhere for dinner, so we stopped here. The pizza was fantastic. We got two smalls, the squash ricotta and cranberry, and a mashed potato bacon and scallion.

On paper, these do not sound like they would work on a pizza, but wow. Crust was still crunchy, and the flavors really worked together.

“Great value for $12 they gave you a lot of boneless ribs with a side of rice and a chicken skewer, you could eat this 2-3 times with you cook some rice for it. The boneless ribs was good, got some fat to it but that’s where the flavor is. Not tender or dry so it’s average. Skewer was slightly dry and salty, not too much flavor to it. Rice was fine. 7/10“

“Decent place for what it is. Nothing fancy just a Chinese takeout place. Food is good, quick and price is pretty on par for the industry. They have booths inside, but they're pretty grimey. I wouldn't eat inside that's for sure.“
