“Great ice cream place with both a drive thru and plenty of picnic tables and a grassy area for the kids to run around. The servings are huge. There are no kid's cone/cup sizes so expect to throw away a lot or plan on sharing with them. Both hard and soft serve and lots of options for sundaes and toppings. The ice cream itself is delicious. Highly recommend!”

“Had the cheesesteak w/onions, peppers, mushrooms, and I gotta say it was a very solid sandwich! Actually, it was one of the better cheesesteaks I've had in Maine in a while. It's definitely in the technique, i.e., the girl who cooked it mixed the perfectly melted cheese in very uniformly w/the meat. It's a beautiful thing when people make food w/love! Bread roll was good...definitely will order it again...wonder if it's just that one girl has mad cheesesteak game on the flat top...lol.🤔”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Made a reservation here because we liked the idea of a 4 course tasting menu and trying new things. It was nice enough inside but could've looked better with tablecloths and better centerpieces. Not leaving the door to the supply closet open the whole time would've helped atmosphere too. Also, having the bar so close to the table with the server standing at it most of the time, made us feel like we had to whisper to have a private conversation or discuss the food. Server was nice enough but would represent the caliber of the menu better if she dressed in something other than jeans and a tshirt. Also, she forgot our silverware until the second course, when we asked. Food itself was a mix of OK and LOVE, no hate. Some things were absolutely amazing , while others were cooked well but slightly overseasoned. Can't really rate this place on the food though because they do a different menu every day! I would still love to try this place again and give it another shot, just not for a special occasion again, since it was too informal feeling for that.”

“Placed a big to-go order including a hamburg pizza, chicken Alfredo, fish and chips, and some mozzarella sticks. EVERYTHING was great, and the fish portion was huge!! The cashier was super friendly, double-checked my order, and even opened the door for me to get out since I kinda had my hands full. We’ve ordered other things in the past, and the food and service is consistently good. We’re lucky to have this place!”

“We’ve struggled to find good food anywhere in Maine for the last year I’ve felt that all the restaurants should be featured on kitchen nightmares. We tried weathervane for the first time today and everything was delicious. Will definitely be our go to from now on for date night. The only negative would be I ish the prime rib was a bit thicker but it was still delicious”
