“Allards makes the best calzones ever! Every time we have gotten them, they are by far superior than any place else. Always fully loaded with tasty ingredients! We don’t do take out often but when we do it’s allards! Anyways! Last night we got an order for delivery. Usually the hubby orders it but he was still driving home so he had me order it. I’m thinking it may have been poor reception on my part but everything in our order was once again perfect except one calzone... mine. Well by the time we got the food in the house and looked it over and I had realized the mistake, the store was closed for the night. I couldn’t eat mine because it had an item I was allergic to. I had ordered it without but didn’t specify my allergy like the hubby usually does so it was definitely my bad there. So I called the next morning and explained what had happened and asked if I could exchange the wrong one for a correct one. As a good business does, they apologized and made it right 100%. Even told me to keep the other one which the kids will love for leftovers! I appreciated the respectful conversation and whomever I spoke with was completely awesome! If you were the owner, you are fabulous! If it was an employee, you deserve a bonus!!!! I will continue recommending allards and definitely plan on letting everyone I know what a pleasure it is getting takeout/delivery from the best place around!!! Five stars all the way!“

“Their pizza is amazing! Also love their fries and chicken fingers! We have a service dog and they were very accommodating. We come from Florida and this is our new favorite pizza place up north! My 9 year old grandson says he would give it a 10+ rating if he could.“

“Most pizza joints in Sanford only give you a few pieces of veggies or a minimum of meat. At HR you get what you ask for. Want onions or peppers, you can actually see them. Not like Dominos or Pizza Hut. Talk about a House Special, nobody in Sanford can come close. The large loaded must weigh close to 5lbs. Their hot sandwich s are truly the best“

“New Hampshire location: large pizza shop in downtown Dover. Ready to go slices of all kind, or you can place a separate order. They took my order right away. The food is fresh and piping hot. I went multiple days during my visit. Beverages choices (in the cooler) were soda, tea, water. The restaurant is not air conditioned- they leave the doors open for circulation but it's hot in there. If it matters to anyone else, the restroom was clean!“

“Went on Thursday to meet a friend for a late lunch, I’ve been by the place but never inside. Needless to say I ordered a pizza and its hands down the best pizza i have had as long as I can remember! As we walked out we chatted about this place and now have a great spot to meet for food laughs and to talk about our work. He mentioned he saw a guy a couple of tables down get what looked like an awesome burger so i stopped by today and ordered it and it was just that, awesome!“

The pizza is good but could be better. The dough was great, the cheese was great but the sauce was a little bland. I ordered mozzarella sticks and the sauce that came with those seemed to have more flavor so I spread it over my pizza and when I did that, the pizza was really good! Maybe it was just off for the pizza sauce those times but I’ll keep trying it to see…..

The hamburgers are really good, so we’ll make sure to have those every time we order. The ham sandwiches were great as well, that’s one of my go to orders wherever I go and they are really good here.

The onion rings and fries are really good but I’m sure they would be better if I picked up the food myself instead of DoorDash, which takes a while. We are 7.7 miles away so they won’t deliver to us themselves, which I understand.

I think I’ll go there myself next time to pick the food up myself. I’m sure it’ll be fresh and maybe I’ll update my review after I do that.

Also, I noticed the DoorDash menu is different from the menu that they offer (there are more items available if you order directly from them), so I’m excited to order directly from them and pick it up myself to try new items….

“I've only done takeout so can't comment on delivery, but this location is very well run and the pizza is good. Easy street parking for pickup. Pizzas have always been ready quickly and the staff is friendly and attentive. I love the NY Style. Crust is thin, but not too thin. Sauce has a nice tang. Toppings are ample. The Philly Cheese Steak pizza is a favorite. Use the app to get great deals and earn points. They always have multiple deals to choose from. Best pizza value in the area.“

“I was at the beach with my dog and got hungry after a long beach day. The smell of the fresh baked pizza lured me right over lol. I couldn’t go inside since I had my dog and the guy working at the booth outside was so nice and offered to place my order and process my payment inside for me and bring it out when it was ready.
