“The food was exemplary! The service was professional and friendly, despite being crushed by a wait-list of would-be diners and a kitchen struggling 30 minutes behind to feed us. The only unfair reason for the 4 star atmosphere is because yesterday's breakfast overlooked the harbor in Bar Harbor. At The Hoot, we watched the parking area, but it was a glorious morning with beautiful fall foliage. It's as nice as it can be, but it's not Acadia National Park. Of course, if you won't be in bar Harbor then the Hoot merits as good a rating as anyplace in Belfast or Northport“

“French influenced restaurant with a large, heated overflow tent. There Is good but abbreviated wine list. This is not a full service restaurant; table service was good. The Shrimp Dumplings are very good, just crisp on one side. The Shrimp and Grits are slightly spicy, the andouille was a little chewy. The shrimp Linguine has a lot of textures and flavors and was perfectly prepared.“

“Came here to celebrate my fiancee and I's engagement while we are traveling around Maine. We received phenomenal food and service dining here at Winonas! We did one of everything and all of the dishes were amazing. The tofu and the Halibut were highlights! We will be back next time we are in Camden and recommend this to anyone looking for an intimate dining experience!“

“We stopped down at the harbor for a snack on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Harbor Dogs is a tiny little stand, but they do a lot more than hot dogs! After a bit of deliberation we walked away with a million tons of food. Poutine! Asian fish tacos! Chili cheese dogs! Lobster rolls! Everything was delicious and those guys at the window? Top notch chefs. Get down to this unassuming shack and get yourself some amazing lunch.“

“I might be too much of a traditionalist but...I had my mouth all set for red flannel hash, was really looking forward to the sweetness that only beets can provide...and unfortunately they used pickled beets :( The description said "beet slaw", so I had anticipated thinner slivers to be in the equation, - but not vinegar. So close to perfection! (sigh). Maybe next time they'll go "old school".“

“We had a harbor cruise scheduled and arrived early to beat the traffic. On our way to the harbor we passed this deli and looked in. Saw the baked goods and that was it. I'm pretty particular to the calories I consume, but couldn't resist the peanut butter cup brownie and coffee latte - both of which I've never had. YUM! We sat inside to watch the water for nearly an hour. After the tour and walking the town we were nearly to our car and decided to go back for a sandwich to take home for dinner. Best retracing of steps ever! The sandwich was very tasty and there was enough for a second dinner the next night.“

“We had a lovely meal at The Waterfront Restaurant. As the name suggests, it overlooks the water and is a good spot for a casual lunch. It’s a popular place, so be prepared to wait — we visited on a Tuesday afternoon and, even at 2:45pm, there was a 20-minute wait.

The staff were great, and we were seated as soon as they were able. We had the haddock fish and chips, which were lovely, although the portion was on the small side. The beef burger was also good. The service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again!“

The one thing that bothers me, is they are making customers pay an extra 9% on their bill to cover employees 401k (no joke, says it on the bill) the waitress told me it makes her very embarrassed when customers ask about the charge.. do better guys, SERIOUSLY!!“

“We had a party of 2 at 3:45 pm on Friday, 6/19/26. We came to watch a World Cup match and have a snack. Service was good and quick. I got a cider and we split wings and a hummus plate. Everything was pretty good! The back porch looked really nice and I would’ve loved to sit out there had they had TVs. Good place to watch sports.“
