“Just returned from our first time in Old Orchard Beach and Birdie's was BY FAR our best meal there. This is REAL home cookin'. Homemade iced tea, mashed potatoes that taste like your momma made 'em and a lovely and attentive server named Jody(?) that made us feel very taken care of. No frills or ocean views, but I'm shocked that this place doesn't have better reviews. I regret not having every meal there.“

“This little hole in the wall restaurant was a great surprise. It's a short walk from the main area of OOB and is located right on the beach. The tables are literally set in the sand. Beyond that is dune grass and the ocean. I had the best tacos in my life! They featured cole slaw, pulled chicken and sweet Thai chili sauce. Delicious!“

“In OOB for a quick getaway with my two kids. Stopped here for breakfast both days. The food was on point, kids loved the French toast and chocolate chip pancakes. But the service Marley gave us is what really stood out. She made my kids and I feel right at home.“

“ordered the whole clam belly basket today...was no bellies. actually looked lime mixture of calamari rings and very thin strips of clams..asked waitresses if I was given clam strips buy mistake she went to ask someone became back and said the calm bellies were just small...ummm... No!! there was none! anyways .was charged for whole belly basket and that was that..will be trying other places next time .“

“It's definitely a dive bar, but it has a wonderful view of the beach. Fast and courteous service. The food was plentiful and delicious. Worth the money. Get the Tex Mex nachos. You won't be disappointed. Alcoholic beverage was strong and delicious.“

“I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough, and hope it remains open forever.“

“It's a great dive bar. As a bartender from a land far away in the western lands of Colorado.. this place made me feel at home. If you don't like your drinks strong or served with some sass, stay around the pier and expect paying 3X the price for a fake smile and the same shot. Personally, I tip good for strong drinks and service that's direct. Best bar in Old Orchard.

We were greeted by a young lady (too young to mention her name) with sweet, sweet answers to our questions as we were walking by.

We decided to go for it.

Ordered the twin tail lobster.
Good Lob, Good Corn, Good Bread, Good Slaw.

Great place to have a very good meal on a picinic table.

We will be back.

“I don't eat seafood but that is not all they sell at Dewey's they also carry things like burgers and fries and chicken tenders mozzarella sticks a selection of these things I normally when i come here order a burger and fries this is the cheapest place price wise for food on old orchard Boardwalk I've been to and the best quality of food on old orchard Boardwalk I've been to“
