“Food was mediocre. The taco chicken was a bit dry but the sweet chili sauce on the tacos gave it more flavor. Service was slow, we ended up getting our food before our drink which was odd. It was clearly a busy day though.
What I love about this place is the atmosphere. It’s a boat shaped restaurant and you can sit in the back on the sand and they had live music all day (on a Saturday) which was what made us stay there so long.“

“Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. Atmosphere, impeccable service, food and warmth all rate 5 stars and another visit next time we are in Portland.“

“Wow the maine blueberry crisp is amazing. Delicious, crunchy crisp, incredible blueberries, just so yum. Had a bite of the double caramel and cookies and the Italian banana pudding and that was also incredible. Will have to be back to try more!!! So nice that you can do multiple flavors in any size and try as many samples as you want! A wonderful experience all around and a nice outdoor seating area to boot!“

“Higher Grounds is the coolest store ever. My husband and I stopped in twice during our Portland stay from out of town. We bought a variety of THC products and found the prices reasonable and quality to be exceptional. It’s a calm and ambiant place free from judgement. Everyone we spoke to was super kind and helpful!“

“Went in today for the first time and food was amazing! Ordered a latte and the girl that took my order wasn’t the friendliest. I last minute decided I wanted a latte, and asked for it to be made with oatmilk she seemed annoyed and said it comes with oatmilk with an attitude. There is no info stating that the latte comes with oatmilk so not sure how I was supposed to know that. The guy who made my drink was extremely friendly and when my food order was ready the cooks were also super friendly! Great food and latte, will be back for sure!“

My bf had Maine Wild Blueberry and Oreo and we almost went back for more that night! Eagerly waiting for Boston Creme to come back so I can try it!!“

“Rarely do I leave a review, but this place is outstanding and definitely deserves the hype! So good we returned for a second time over the course of our long weekend stay. First of all, the vibes inside this cute little café are immaculate. All the staff were warm, inviting (both times we went) and very attentive to provide a great dining experience. But let’s get to the best part, which is truly the food (the Como se dice Bon Giorno sandwich to be specific). The English muffins are made in house, and you can tell the difference! They take their delicious baked staples and curate them for the holiday/season. Is it a little pricier? Sure but nothing unexpected for dining in the Portland area, and the quality most certainly justifies the price. I highly recommend and definitely plan to return on following trips, as this is our new staple for breakfast in the Portland area!“

“First timer and I will be back and bring friends. Had the Egg and Tomato Jam Sando; so so yummy. The bun was fresh and fluffy, the egg was very impressive as it filled the whole bun and was super fluffy and thick.“

“The atmosphere is perfect for studying, and very comfortable. And the business is very openly supportive of LGBT rights.

The barista was friendly and made my coffee very quickly.

I got a cortado for 4 dollars, which was delicious and had pronounced chocolately notes, with medium acidity.

On Friday afternoon, the girl working was so kind and incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain the drinks and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. I had a lot of questions, but the employee helping me did not really know answers about the specifics on the board. So I just got what seemed healthy and tasty after a quick google of some details. I had the Kenya Gatina AA – washed Batian Ruru with notes of blackberry, caramel, and orange zest. It was far from my typical, and I can appreciate that the coffee was of a good quality, but my experience would've been much more enjoyable if I could've been directed to flavors more suited to my palate. Beautiful view and in an easy to find area!“

“Last year I stopped by this Cafe on the way back home, I tried a pistachio raised donut and it stole my heart. the vibes at this restaurant are so sweet and nothing but Mainer. Slow and sweet, colorful and flavorful. Everytime I'm in the area I'll be sure to re-visit! 10⭐️“

“Got an espresso shot and a breakfast sandwich—both were good! The space is down some stairs into a tiny basement room. No restroom and only a little seating inside. They do have some patio tables set up outside on ground level. Not a place to stay and hang out if it’s crowded but was good and sufficient for a quick stop in!“

“Great food made on the premises, including homemade desserts and sourdough bread. Try the charcuterie plate with several cheese, fruit, nuts, bread and a rotating sliced meat. Or the grilled shrimp or tuna, both yummy. Cocktails, wine, espresso -- choices galore. gotta love the espresso martini, even a decaf one! Jazz or blues background music, no headbanger stuff. Relax and enjoy...“

“There's quite a line for this tiny little place. And the lines are either for good food or convenience.
I am happy to say that this place is both. I reallly enjoyed it.
They clearly use good beans, and the drinks are made fresh.
What made this enjoyable was the absolute flavor of chocolate liqueur. It made this drive through latte feel sophisticated and well crafted.
If I lived nearby, I'd made my way through the menu.“

“We visited on opening week under the new owners - a lovely couple Loo and James.
We did walk up and the friendly staff prepared a Honey Cinnamon Shaken Espresso with half sugar which a wonderful change to my usual Iced Latte. My husband enjoyed an Iced Beach Bum which I took a few sips of. Refreshing! I also tried the ham and cheese melt on croissant bread - generous with the ham! There are a few benches with parasols which was helpful in the heat. Can't wait to return to try some of their unique and fun drinks“

“The staffer ultra friendly and very helpful. These people are always happy and make you feel welcome. All their drinks made right to order and most importantly, made correctly! I have yet to have a bad experience there. The food is very good and their donuts are actually the size that a donut should be. I don't even go to dunkin' donuts anymore, as everything's getting miniaturized and they just can't make a coffee to save their life anymore.“

“So it’s so difficult for me to right this because the staff here in scarborough are beyond fantastic and always have been and I am a loyal client who goes there every single day. What is really disappointing is I have complained about the extreme over growth of weeds around the sign, building, drive thru and coming through the patio that just looks terrible but also rubs up against your vehicle when driving thru the drive thru and when I complained before the weeds and messy landscaping was addressed but what upsetting and disappointing is that whom every is in charge of making sure this stuff is being tending sue does a terrible job and to be aesthetics and presence is everything and though I love the staff and I live in scarborough I hate driving thru this Starbucks because it truly looks trashy with the overgrowth and trash in visible site“

“I go to this Dunkin Donuts semi regularly and the customer service is great for regular orders, a large order I placed for work, and they always offer treats to dogs.

I wish I could remember the person's name with green hair and a mask that helped with my huge order. So friendly and reliable. Thank you!“

“I absolutely love Spinning Jenny’s! The atmosphere is so fun to be in and the coffee shop is small and chic. The size of the restaurant is no indication of the size of their menu; as they offer a variety of different options as well as a frequently-changing seasonal menu. I would recommend this coffee spot to anyone who wants a fun place to study and a good coffee for a post-Pilates class.“

“It’s really a hit or a miss. I’ve been to this Starbucks over 100 times and 90 percent of the time my drinks come out very good but other times I get these disgusting drinks for example one time I asked for 2 pumps of this apple fall syrup and the drink tasted like straight syrup. Sometimes there is also a bad chai to milk ratio sometimes to much chai sometimes to much milk same goes with refreshers the same drink is a different shade each time and all the workers have a different opinion on what light ice is other then that this Starbucks is pretty great.“

“This Starbucks location is easily one of my favorites. The store is always clean, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell they really care about what they’re doing. One thing I especially appreciate is that their drip coffee is always ground and brewed fresh, which makes a big difference.
