“It's definitely a dive bar, but it has a wonderful view of the beach. Fast and courteous service. The food was plentiful and delicious. Worth the money. Get the Tex Mex nachos. You won't be disappointed. Alcoholic beverage was strong and delicious.“

“Best coffee we had in Portland. I wouldn't recommend the espresso on its own, but they do make good espresso drinks—try the cortado and the cappuccino. Really lovely cider too.
Cute ambience with terrarium plants; nice to read a book by the big windows.“

“Very cute little queer friendly and affirming coffee shop/eatery/diner in Portland! We stopped in while in town visiting for some caffeination. These had to be one of the most perfectly made lattes we've ever had. Milk properly steamed to perfection, without any sweetener it wasn't the least bit bitter and had the best flavor ever. Service was extremely welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere, even just while waiting to get our drinks, was very cute. We'll definitely be stopping back in when we are in the are.
Parking: Street parking only and it looked in short supply, however, we got lucky and got an open spot right in front of the shop.“

“Very good gelato outside of Italy! We ordered chocolate, mascarpone pistachio caramel (unique and so so good) and the blueberry crisp. The server was so sweet and friendly to everyone that came in. The portion sizes were more generous than I expected!! I wish we were here longer to come back.“

“Last month our flight to Portland was delayed a considerable amount of time due to weather issues and it looked as though we would not be able to make our 5p.m. reservation. My daughter called from the tarmac in Boston where we were rerouted and refueled and explained the situation. The hostess, Susie, was very understanding and compassionate And said that even though our table was booked for another party a 7, we should come in and she would see what she could do. We got there late but Susie greeted us warmly and told us not to worry about being rushed that she had arranged things so no one would be inconvenienced. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; the food so very delicious and our waitperson, Anika, was the best. Atmosphere, impeccable service, food and warmth all rate 5 stars and another visit next time we are in Portland.“

“This is a great coffee shop. It has a bar as well, but the atmosphere is really relaxed. They have a large collection of games ranging from quick and simple to complex and lengthy. Trevor had some great spot recommendations for games and the coffee was solid. Highly recommend checking them out.“

“In town for a short trip, stopped in for a quick drink, and immediately loved the vibe. We took our time exploring the space. Very cool. Vinyl spinning on the turntable, vintage maps displayed throughout. Very unique and thoughtfully decorated venue.“

“I visited the Thames location. The open space atmosphere was very bright and refreshing. Menu was quite particular in terms of beans origins and varieties. I had a lot of questions, but the employee helping me did not really know answers about the specifics on the board. So I just got what seemed healthy and tasty after a quick google of some details. I had the Kenya Gatina AA – washed Batian Ruru with notes of blackberry, caramel, and orange zest. It was far from my typical, and I can appreciate that the coffee was of a good quality, but my experience would've been much more enjoyable if I could've been directed to flavors more suited to my palate. Beautiful view and in an easy to find area!“

“My husband and I have been going to Gorgeous Gelato for years. It's been a while since we've been but last weekend, we decided to introduce our granddaughters to it. The older one enjoyed trying blueberry sorbet and ended up ordering it. The little one is 3 so she opted for vanilla and chocolate. It's just as delicious as we remember. They really make the best gelato in New England. It's the closest one to the ones we had in Italy. Oh, and they have sfogiatelle (pastry filled with sweet ricotta) which was legit. Had one of those in Naples, Italy in 2017. This is not Naples level but it brought me back to the experience nonetheless. It's a bit pricey though (almost $7 each). Their prices have gone up and parking in the the city could be a challenge. These are the only reasons why we don't go more often.“

A Perfect Brew and Bite at Time and Tide Coffee!

The nutty richness combined with their expertly brewed coffee is a symphony for the taste buds. It's like sipping a hug in a mug!

“The donuts here were AMAZING. Easily the best donuts in town (I said what I said). They are made fresh to order and delish! I can’t speak as highly for the iced coffee - my friend ordered two and one had grinds in the bottom and chunky almond milk- the guy making it definitely noticed (he spent an extra minute stirring it and holding it up to the light) and still served it but he’s young so it may just be a training issue. We tossed the coffee after. Either way, it didn’t stop us from making a trip back the next day to get some donuts for the drive home- and eating some right away. I will be back for the donuts anytime I’m in town!“

“OMG. I wrote this review so long ago. Since then I have had nearly a thousand coffees here. My dog has a locker here. It’s anything but sterile, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about coffee and cannabis alike. 10/10 would recommend!

Coffee was good, great even but the atmosphere was a bit sterile. I was there just after opening, so I'll try again in a few weeks.“

“Don't be discouraged by the exterior. If you want good coffee, tasty breakfast, and quick service with no lines, Yordprom ticked all those boxes for us. We took a chance on it after waiting in line for too long at a Bakery further up and we were very happy with how buttery and flaky the ham and cheese croissant was and the softness and creaminess of the avocado bagel. As Australians, we can be picky with our coffee and I thought it was also a decent cappuccino. The setting was basic but it was fairly priced and we were welcomed with a smile and friendly goodbyes, so to us that was worth it compared to a more stylish/modern option that's too busy and overcharges. Thanks for the friendly service and tasty food, guys!“

“Fabulous new cafe in SoPo! Our daughter, who lives nearby, suggested we stop in and it was a very good suggestion, indeed!!
We get to Portland for visits fairly often and are so happy that Lana opened this really special place. She’s nailing it as far as we’re concerned. Second Rodeo has a warmly eclectic decor that feels comfortable and inviting. To date we’ve had a couple of Matcha Lattes, a Chai, and more than a few regular lattes. All so delicious and beautifully presented. London Fog to come!! Today was also the day to try an egg sandwich with avocado on an English muffin. Delicious! And like the place itself it was warm, toasty, and quintessentially comforting! Lana’s staff is lovely. Engaging, calm, and efficient. The place was bustling when we got there today and they had our order ready for us soon after we were seated.
Second Rodeo has such a wonderful neighborhood vibe and I can tell by the happy faces and friendly chatter that folks are more than happy to soak it all in!
Well done Lana and Co.!!“

“There's quite a line for this tiny little place. And the lines are either for good food or convenience.
I am happy to say that this place is both. I reallly enjoyed it.
They clearly use good beans, and the drinks are made fresh.
What made this enjoyable was the absolute flavor of chocolate liqueur. It made this drive through latte feel sophisticated and well crafted.
If I lived nearby, I'd made my way through the menu.“

“My wife, kids, and I came into the coffee shop this morning shortly after opening for a black coffee and some hot chai tea. My oldest daughter asked the gentleman behind counter about the "Ungrinch" beverage and it's ingredients. The gentleman proceeded to give my daughter the beverage for free, despite our insistence that we pay. My kids were incredibly grateful and it absolutely made their day. It was very generous and kind of the gentleman and I hope he realized the joy it brought to my kids day.“

“In a random twist of events, we found ourselves looking for a bite to eat on our way to our hotel in South Portland. We decided to look in the less crowded area of town and happened upon Bread and Olive. The dishes were mostly tapas sized. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and homemade. We had the bread and olives for an appetizer, the Mediterranean Flatbread and the grilled cheese... all of which were delicious. The homemade sourdough was absolutely delectable. The best part about the dishes being smaller is that we had room for dessert, which was a bundt cake. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Bread and Olive!!!“

“I never leave less than 5 stars but I think it’s good for people to know this is not a great spot for food. Cafe and atmosphere is stunning and a great place to enjoy an espresso. We spent $40 on two lattes and two breakfast sandwiches which I think is normal price for a cafe however, the breakfast sandwich was disappointing. Bagel wasn’t cooked and egg was microwaved. Still a lovely spot but wouldn’t recommend spending the money on food.“

“Great local spot, fantastic sandwiches, great fancy coffees, and there's no way that you'll be burdened with too much leftover money after paying for it. High quality though, and the ambiance is great. Super annoying they don't take cash, and I'm looking forward to someday seeing someone in their for their first time melting down over that, that'll be a good show! I dig the local art, and craft made hats/stickers/etc they offer too, which helps connect local artists to the market--pretty rad!“

“Oh no? They mean oh YES! What a great experience. Unassuming inside and out. Simple but elegant menu. We ordered four different sandwiches and each was absolutely delicious. Great service. They have a surprisingly diverse wine selection and an uncommonly large selection of imported beer (plus a few local craft beers). This is a great option for eat-in (small space, though) or carryout. Give it a shot.“

“So it’s so difficult for me to right this because the staff here in scarborough are beyond fantastic and always have been and I am a loyal client who goes there every single day. What is really disappointing is I have complained about the extreme over growth of weeds around the sign, building, drive thru and coming through the patio that just looks terrible but also rubs up against your vehicle when driving thru the drive thru and when I complained before the weeds and messy landscaping was addressed but what upsetting and disappointing is that whom every is in charge of making sure this stuff is being tending sue does a terrible job and to be aesthetics and presence is everything and though I love the staff and I live in scarborough I hate driving thru this Starbucks because it truly looks trashy with the overgrowth and trash in visible site“
