“We wandered in today and sat at the bar. We were so impressed with both the service and the food. The bartender was cordial, friendly, and extremely attentive. We had a flatbread that was absolutely delicious and chicken, bacon ranch salad with house made ranch that was exceptional. Closer than any. We don’t have a flatbread company near our home sure wish we did.“

I love the friendly staff and the atmosphere and the food of course. My new favorite pie is small with vegan cheese, sauce under the cheese and on top, red and Vidalia onions, roasted garlic and Greek olive with the herbs on top. “Pizza by Alex is an old style Greek/American pizza joint conveniently located a short drive from Old Orchard Beach. Menu included classic pies in 10 inch and family sizes with classic meat and veggi toppings. I the Greek style pie and was pleased to receive it loaded with spinach and feta. My friends ordered meat toppings and were similarly impressed. Meals are ordered at the counter for eat in or take out. Drinks are bottled soda or coffee (but fountain drinks are available in the dining room). The dining room was spacious with plenty of room between the round tables and 4 chairs around each. Focal point was the massive oven manned by three bakers who produced the beautifully browned pies. Plan on about $20 per person here. You will be rewarded with outstanding pizza in a relaxed setting with a real yesteryear vibe.“

“While staying at a nearby hotel, we ordered Portland Pie Co for pickup. It was ready within 20 minutes on a Friday night, which was great! The building and interior was very modern, and it smelled amazing inside!

We ordered to the chicken nachos and chicken broccoli alfredo for dinner, and loved both meals. You could taste the ingredients were fresh and made to order. Also, the portions are HUGE, and we felt the price was pretty competitive based on the quality and portion sizes! We'll be back on our next Portland trip!“

“Love this location. There are so many options that it is hard to decide on what to order. The staff was very pleasant and the food was awesome. When I am in Biddeford, always specifically to shop at Market Basket; we always order food at Market's Kitchen. And the prices are as good as the store itself. You cannot get a Cheeseburger, French Fries and a 20 oz. Soda anywhere cheaper than here. And it's good. And if you want a comfort food dinner, this is the place to go. Turkey Dinner with all the fixings for less than you would pay for a value meal at a fast food chain. I absolutely love this place.“

“We were needing a quick stop for lunch by the airport before flying home and chose this spot for pizza. We were delightfully surprised they had an Italian sandwich, not Maine style. The sandwich was delicious and that bread!! We also got the pulled pork with scallions pizza and added mushrooms and pepperoni- it was so good. The crust was thin with a perfect char. We couldn’t decide if the sandwich or pizza was better but all agreed if this place existed in Oklahoma, we’d be regulars.“

“I got the Greek Pizza last night. 10 in size which is the only size. Had it to go and once I got to it for eating it was delicious. Cost about $17 which at first I thought was a lot. But it is worth the money for me. When you park there please don't park behind the building, that is for employees. I found out by having a unpleasant talk with the manager/owner. “Nice place! I was quite ecstatic that they offered a gluten free calzone. My wife's came out somewhat burned on top so that was a bummer. The flavors were quite good otherwise. It was a tad dark inside and the style left a little to be desired. I would be happy to go back if I am up this way again.“

I ordered a Pineapple, Bacon & Hot Honey small pizza. It was one of the BEST pizza's I've ever eaten! I didn't take my receipt so I can't remember our waiters name & I wish I could because he deserves a shout out! He was amazing!! Would definitely recommend! & will definitely be back!“

“We went to Portland pie with the kids for a quick bite on Saturday night. The place was bumping with two rooms full of patrons! Even though they were short-staffed, the servers were kind and courteous and even the store manager was on the floor lending a hand. He personally came to the table and apologized for the wait, but it wasn't bad at all, in my opinion. We had the harvest salad and the specialty pizza which was really good!

“i was there last night (friday PM) you guys were super busy with take out. i as correctly informed of the long cook time for my pizzas on the phone by "Joe R" and i'm assuming Joe was also the young man at the register taking cash and fielding so many complaints last night. he was calm apologetic and always kept a smile even when more than one customer berated him about the long wait times. i just wanted to say he handled everything so well and took far more bad behavior than he should ever have to deal with from the public. keep up the great work Joe. i'm so sorry so many "adults" are so very rude.“

“Fantastic pizza!! Me and my boyfriend went here to get a pizza before catching the train and let me tell you, heaven on earth. Ordered ahead and got a large pizza for $24, ready in about 15 minutes. I've had some bad experiences with the salads in the past (as others have mentioned), but the pizza experience is like no other. Stringy cheese, fragrant meats, and a good sized crust. ❤️

My one complaint is that the website is a bit out of date and hard to navigate, especially on mobile.“
