“YUMMMMM!!! It is hard to describe how much I loved this gelato. The employees were friendly and helpful, and so nice to offer samples when I had questions on the flavors (the samples were given with metal spoons… so nice not to use single use plastic for that). I ordered the large size cup and the portion was generous for the price. I had three different flavors in my cup and all of them had a nice amount of toppings mixed in… this is a nice way to have the gelato as many gelato shops only have the toppings laying on top so you don’t end up with many in your serving. I have visited Italy and have had many gelatos over the years, but this is hands down the best I have had! My favorite flavor was ‘A Big ‘Ole Peanut Butter Pint’... a week and a half later and I am still thinking about this flavor!! Also, we were with someone with a dog and there was no outdoor seating. We asked the employees if we could grab chairs from the restaurant and bring them outside and they had no problem letting us do that (it helped that we visited at a time where they weren’t too busy).“

Our preferred place to sit is at the bar where we know we will always get excellent service from our favorite server Sammy. Me, my husband and my three teenagers all loved the food. I especially loved the tofu noodle dish. We will definitely eat here again.“

“Went in today for the first time and food was amazing! Ordered a latte and the girl that took my order wasn’t the friendliest. I last minute decided I wanted a latte, and asked for it to be made with oatmilk she seemed annoyed and said it comes with oatmilk with an attitude. There is no info stating that the latte comes with oatmilk so not sure how I was supposed to know that. The guy who made my drink was extremely friendly and when my food order was ready the cooks were also super friendly! Great food and latte, will be back for sure!“

“Best food I ate in Portland all week (including upscale places) was the lobster bisque from Chef Ryan. Oysters were GREAT as well. Family friendly. Chef Ryan’s whole menu was top notch and the kitchen staff was so nice. Ty came up and offered to give my young kids a lobster lesson over FaceTime (was here for work). Lizzy was excellent at the bar for our group. Ashley was amazing and welcoming to our group. Couldn’t recommend more. But def order the menu items and not just the lobster!“

I went early and it wasn’t busy so I was able to get a little solo work lunch in and the server Luis was SO nice and welcoming. I also didn’t realize the have a kids changing table in the bathroom and most places in Portland aren’t kid friendly so I think I’ll come back with my kids soon because I’m already hungry for another taco and a happy upbeat welcoming atmosphere.“

I have never had the same thing twice at MaMi because all of the dishes look and smell and taste so amazing I want to try them all. It's truly an experience.“
