“What an absolutely wonderful evening. We visited Suzuki Sushi last night with family, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance; cozy, intimate, and underscored by soft, well-chosen music that set the tone without overpowering conversation.
The meal itself was exceptional. We began with crisp, flavorful gyoza that disappeared almost instantly, followed by an array of nigiri and rolls showcasing incredibly fresh fish and thoughtful presentation. Keiko’s Favorite Roll was a standout; rich, balanced, and easily one of the best I’ve had. We paired everything with sake from Keiko’s hometown and even ventured into Japanese whisky for the first time. They were smooth, nuanced, and a real highlight.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—we felt like guests rather than just another table. It turned an excellent meal into a memorable family evening.
If you’re looking for standout sushi in Midcoast Maine, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.”

“Went in not expecting much in sleepy Thomaston ME; ended up w one of best sandwiches ever, not just in Maine but in all my travels. The chickpea wrap had perfect combination of spicy sauce and crisp vegetables in a very fresh wrap. Honestly, I was shocked to find such deliciousness in this small, unpretentious shop. Didn’t try anything else, but 100% recommend chickpea sandwich!”

Gluten free scones and more. Monhegan Coffee Roasters coffee and tea served. Whole bean and teas sold for take-away. Next time, we’ll try the savory options. Definitely returning again.”

“We had dinner at Roslyn Fine Thai Cuisine on a weekday evening while on vacation. It is clearly a favorite among locals—while we were dining, many people came in whom the owners greeted by name. The restaurant is very attractive inside, the menu is extensive, and the service was very good. Everything we ordered was delicious. Their salads are always good and a nice variety of other entrees and always delicious desserts that vary from day to day. Check the hours before you go.”
