“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “We have been going to Horizons for many years. The food is always wonderful and Mary Ellen and her staff are always smiling and welcoming. One of the only places you can get a choice of how you want your eggs poached and they always come out right. Best choice for breakfast in the area.“

“For you that know me and those who don’t,I speak my mind about any subject whether it’s good or plain sucked !! I have to share this little story with you ,a dismal start to our vacation week, A normal 3 hour drive turned into a five hour one,then I had issues with my oxygen machine,which turned into waiting for a servicemen to come from two hours away.So we are looking at 9 o’clock at night before he would come, now we haven’t eaten since morning and now it’s past 7:30. We knew since Covid hit most eateries are open limited hours, we called Stutesy’s Pub & Grill they said come on down even though they were already shutting down for 8 o’clock. That they will take care of us,not only was Stacie a gracious host her husband cooked us a wonderful meal and even made two more meals to go for our two sons,who were coming laterThey won over our hearts and our taste buds so you’ve got to give Stutesy’s a try for sure!!“

“We popped in here on a Thursday around 1:30, so not too busy. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. We had the mussels and parmesean truffle fries, and they were some of the best apps we've had in a while. The mussels were so good, and the hot rolls that came with them were perfect to dip into the delicious juice/ broth. The fries, dusted with parmesean and a light truffle flavor, came out crispy and hot, served with aioli and ketchup. We will definitely return someday for dinner. We started with complimentary bread & oil, then devoured fried oysters. I enjoyed the short rib kofta with zucchini & German potato salad, while my friend savored the salmon entree. For dessert, we had to try the in-house-made sarsaparilla-glazed donuts & ice cream. Everything was top-notch!“

“We had a very nice dinner. My only wish was the salt potatoes had been baked longer. Our mouths were watering when the server described them to us and they tasted and looked like a boiled fingerling. Other than that the prime rib was delicious as was the pork dinner. We splurged on the ice cream sundae and didn't think about the calories and happy we did. Excellent service!“

“The Pilot House came in a very close second to Mabel’s Lobster Claw — and that says a lot! The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the lobster roll with clam chowder, and both were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the baked crusted haddock and loved every bite, and my mother-in-law had the fish tacos, which were just as good.

The atmosphere has that classic small-town coastal feel — casual, welcoming, and full of local charm. What makes it even better is the history tied to this place. The building originally stood as part of Kennebunkport’s old railroad era and was later turned around on its lot in the 1970s. It sits beside the Spirit of Massachusetts, a 19th-century schooner that nods to the town’s rich maritime past. Between the amazing food, friendly service, and a little piece of local history, The Pilot House is a spot we’ll absolutely return to. Five stars all the way!“

“Our first time dining here. We were seated promptly at a nice table with both a view outside and by the fireplace. My husband had an entree but I was fine with two starters, a salad and the seafood stew, both were delicious. Little bit of a lag with my wine. I could see it setting at the bar for five minutes and finally I flagged down our server and asked for my wine. Very convenient in town location and there is parking if needed. We were able to walk from our inn.“

“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!“

“Rick’s Restaurant 9-9-25 Stopped by for some breakfast. Place was mostly full of locals and some not so local. This place is not fancy, but it was clean and neat. Our waitress Amy was on the ball with our Coffee and food orders. We ordered the Fraser Valley Breakfast which consisted of 2 Eggs, Potato’s choice of Meat and Toast. We both opted for Ham as the meat. Our food came out quick for as busy as they were. Our Eggs were done just like we ordered them, perfect. The Potato’s and Ham were both good. The food and Coffee were hot, and all was good. I guess the locals know where to go for a reasonable priced food that’s plentiful and good. They do have a couple tables outside in the front to eat at if you don’t want to be inside. There is also a counter to sit at. Seemed like the waitress their knew everybody’s name and treated us like one of the locals also. Amy checked on us a bunch of times to make sure we were well taking care of. They even had old school trivia questions on paper at the tables to keep you amused. The Salt and Pepper shakers were in the shape of a Semi Truck. I just loved this place and their food. “Stopped by The Front Porch Piano Bar & Restaurant on our first night in Ogunquit (such a cute town!). Parking was definitely limited, but once we got in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We grabbed seats at the bar by the window, which was a great spot to relax and people-watch. Drinks were good (a little on the pricey side), and the food was great! Such a fun and lively place — would definitely come back!“

Tucked away right next to the pool, this spot was exactly what I needed—a laid-back escape from the downtown hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport. I was initially confused about how to get in (thought I was lost for a second!), but once I found it, I knew I’d discovered something special.

Plenty of shady spots to lounge, a great indoor-outdoor vibe, and seriously relaxing poolside energy. A lot of games for kids. The menu hits all the right notes—classic food and drink options that are comforting and satisfying.

The real highlight? Kayla, the bartender. She was an absolute joy! Super friendly, attentive, and full of great local recs. Her service was top-notch, and she made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. We chatted, laughed, and I left already looking forward to coming back.

“The best ice cream we had in Kennebunkport! I received a BOGO free coupon from my visit at The Clam Shack for here so we had to check it out. I had the Moose Track and it was the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. I loved the mini peanut butter cups that were mixed in.“

“OMG the waitress was incredible! We had a beer flight and she was out of one beer so she gave us a pumpkin spice with sugar and cinnamon on the rim, it was delicious. “We hosted our wedding welcome party here, and it was absolutely perfect! Federal Jacks us to rent out the outdoor deck, which overlooked Dock Square and offered the most beautiful views of downtown Kennebunk, such a stunning setting to kick off our wedding weekend.

Luke was wonderful to work with, he helped us select a great variety of appetizers, and he was so accommodating, even allowing us to bring in our own decor to make the space feel personal and special. The food was delicious, the bar service was spectacular, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the atmosphere.
