We’ve lived in the area for over a decade, but just tried Ironbound for the first time on Labor Day weekend, and we will definitely be back!“

“July 2026. We stopped in for two cocktails and lunch. Cocktails were very good and not short on alcohol. Sat outside along sidewalk, and the view was great. Service was professional, right down to uniformed wait staff, commensurate with a five star joint. We shared the corned beef Ruben which was excellent. Shaved thin, fat attached, with an excellent horseradish mustard dressing. Excellent spiced, but not spicy, fries.“

I really liked the blueberry latte but giving 4 stars since the other pumpkin spice latte we got was pretty bland even after trying to stir it up as much as we could. Definitely get something with blueberry in it if you like flavoring in your coffee!“

It's a new family favorite in Bar Harbor, and I have converted to loving seafood and the raw menu because of the loft! The ahi tuna nachos were a hit all around and a big recommendation to try! “Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“

If I recall correctly, they are CASH ONLY. I don't have any pictures but they give you a LOT of ice cream. This place had lines out the door and down the street around 7pm just a heads up.“

There was no one behind the bar when I went up to order, and it took me a while to find a server when I wanted to add something to my order. Still had a good time, but I certainly wasn't blown away.“
