“What a great little cafe!This is a Mom & Pop establishment. It seems like the whole family is involved.The service is fantastic. They only have 5-6 tables. Tables, chairs, and benches lining the wall.Our table rocked because the floor is uneven. Nothing that little wedge couldn't fix.None of this will matter to you after you see how good the food is. Everything is made from scratch. So save room for a slice of their homemade Pies, then take one home with you.No, I don't work there, I'm not affiliated with the family, and I wasn't paid to write this review.But the real reason I went there was because I was told they have the BEST BURGERS in Jackson!!I was surprised that the edges of the burger were crispy. But that's part of what keeps the flavor in.I had the Mushroom & Swiss Burger, and it just melted in my mouth. Seriously!! It was soooo good. And you will know it's good because every bite is as good as the first.I love these little hole-in-the-walls. They usually have the best food.I've "saved" this place cause I'll definitely be back!!!Parking: It's a small cafe. You park around it, facing the building.“

“We discovered one of Jackson's gems today. It's not a huge place but it's fantastic so if you have to wait- know that it's worth it. They have a variety of selections so I think it's safe to say something for everyone. My quiche Lorraine (a regularly offered choice) was delicious and the cranberry orange walnut muffin was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and the food came out quickly“

“This is a clean and fun atmosphere. The food is prepared right every time. The servers here are friendly and do a good job following up with your satisfaction and drink refills. The fish is one of my favorites, but you really can't go wrong on the food here. Price is reasonable for what you would expect for the atmosphere. “One of the best meals I've had in quite a long time. The place is clean and taken care of well. The TouchTunes machine is amazing and has a great selection of music. But the highlight was definitely our waitress Mary. She deserves the whole world and more for her kindness and the conversation. Very easy person to talk to. Definitely recommend“

“Small coney island with a rooster theme. The place was packed the whole time we were there. It's not a place for large parties but definitely a place of local flare. Amy was our server and did a great job. She helped me make a coney dog omlet that was huge. Great time “

“Mystery diner: Another fun place. Beautiful inside. I love the decor. Food was good and fast. I had a burger and fries. It was good. It wasn't remarkable or memorable, it was a burger.I didn't do a 5 star on the food because it is basic food. It's good. It severed its purpose. But I wasn't wowed by flavor or anything of the sort. Typical bar food and a fun environment to enjoy it in.Staff are super friendly and happy to help. Everything was spotless and clean.Certainly better than a fast food joint. Maybe some of the other items are staples. I wasn't overly impressed with anything I saw to move me to want to try it.“

“Very loud I wear hearing aids and I had to turn them off. The Food was good and everyone at the table was happy. Service was good it was a slow time so they may have helped. “Almost gave a 3 star but felt it didn't really warrant that since I merely had just 1 complaint. I ordered what the menu called "pretzels" and was given boat shaped bread with excessive amounts of garlic. To the point of only eating 1/2 of 1. I then finished my drink leaving entire basket/plate of the rest at table. The waitress was wonderful wish could remember her name. She was just a short little thing but very friendly, courteous, and pretty fast considering the bar was full shortly after we arrived. I would recommend this place but I would not recommend their "pretzels".“

“Our waitress Allison was there for us all the time. We never had to wait for anything. She was kind and courteous. We had all you can eat shrimp dinner and it was wonderful. I am certainly going to come back and eat there again. I just loved it ❤️“

“Oh my gosh I just love this place! The food here is literally always quality and the staff is amazing. The only issue I’ve ever had here was I placed an online order once and when I arrived the internet was down so they had no physical record of my order, but they accepted my email receipt as proof and were able to get me my food either way and within 10 minutes tops. I will recommend this place to any and everyone for any meal time every time.“

“Love this place. The small arcade keeps the kids wanting to come back. Every time I visit there are improvements either to the drinks or the building. “I ate here for the first time the other day (February 2024) as it was close by where I was atI found the service and the food to be really good. I very much enjoyed the "Polish platter" which included golumpki, perogies, kapust, potato pancakes and roast pork. My father enjoyed his hamburger and sweet potato fries.I will be back for the Polish dish again.“

“If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. The hospitality is very awesome. I broke down and waited for parts to arrive at a near parts store. Stopping here made this situation actually fun! Drinks are good! I like blue moon so they had my favorite beer. Charlie and harmony are really awesome bartenders!!! The chili here is amazing! People need to come here and support your local bar. Good place to relax. Pool table. Got seating. Overall pleasant experience.“

“Always great service and super yummy food, and for cooked-to-order, pretty darn fast.Just one odd question that we've noticed often ... why are the napkins usually shoved in the bag in a big messy wad? EVERYTHING else is so neat and tidy. Doesn't deter us from eating here, just a curiosity.Parking: It's a little tight in spots, and a popular place, so just practice patience.“

“Very disappointed after liking it so well. My spouse, nephew and myself, came for a quick drink meal n appetizer. Waitress came to table fairly quick and we gave her our drink order and tried ordering 3 pretzels and 3 nacho salads. She said she couldn't take our food order because she had to do drink order 1st and give him a "ticket for the order" she finally comes back to take the order we already gave her. About 10 min later she brings 1 pretzel with cheese, goes back to kitchen about 5min later brings next pretzel and did the same thing with our meal so basically we couldn't eat together. Just embarrassing for a good place“

“Excellent rates, very amiable wait staff, delicious breakfasts, and a breathtaking outlook. We travel from AZO/Kalamazoo two or three times a month specifically for this eatery. Some days of the week they also have a Bloody Mary bar that is great. The only thing that could make this site better is the ability to hear the communication from the tower. For non-pilots, that would be awesome.“
