“I might have just had the best meal of my life; I ordered a shish kabab meal from here and absolutely loved it. The service was very fast, the place was clean, and the cashier girl was so kind and sweet. This is officially my favorite restaurant now.“

“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“Vedi nyss , I visited here for a meal years ago it was delicious, being in town this time I went for another go. I had Tabbouli one of my favorite opening Mediterranean dishes. The Herbs was as chopped as kale, the fish was flaky going with the texture of the greens. Hearty I vacuumed it !! Service was questionable and I glinted to some scuffs during my approach. could be just as warm to strangers as it is good for regulars. It's no room for coldness as that in a restaurant. Bad for business“

“You want a bang for your buck go here. Even a hungry man can get full off these bowls! Seriously 13.00 for a big chicken bowl filled with delicious goodness! I have been eating this for lunch for a few days. Seriously so worth it for me. I will 100% be back and this time try the steak bowl which is only 1.00 more than the chicken bowl?!? Like come on now you can’t beat that! It’s been a long time since I have seen a place with such GREAT portion sizes for this amount of money. And it’s not like oh I ate all the chicken in one sitting and now I have this bowl of rice and veggies. NO there is so much of everything it’s wonderful. As a business, you guys should be proud of the prices you have and the portions you give. You stand out amongst every other restaurant there is. And this food is a healthier option which I love.

I also love that you put pickles in this bowl. I will ask for extra pickles next time. (There was enough but I love pickles and it added a wonderful crunch).

“Had lunch today with 4 other friends. The service was great. But the food was outstanding. I'm from the East side. So i often go the Iraqi restaurants on Ryan and 15 mile. The food served to us was better than any of those. Do yourself I favor and stop in at Arbeel Kabab for the best Kabab in town.“

Like, sheesh bro, calm down with the quality and tenderness of your chicken, my mouth exploded of joy when I devouered this divine dish! And my god, the atmosphere was just something else! The prison vibes were so accurate I felt like I was never gonna get out of this place, although I actually forgot that I have indeed murdererd someone and deserve to be in here! Absolutely crazy.
Also the variety of the food was great! Chicken and shrimp are only some of the few extravagant choices on the menu, but they are by far my absolute favorites (although I thought they tasted quite similar).
And the service was also ambsolutely amazing! The waiter (also the cook) was kind enough to provide me with a menu as soon as I entered and cleared a table for us by scooping up the remains of previous guests' food with a plastic tablecloth and making it magically dissapear like a wizard! And such grace in his movements! Truly the mark of a professional at work!
All in all the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life!

All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“
