“5 stars! The cocktails, the wine, the food, and the service are all 5 star worthy. This is tapas style, many small plates. There are some sizeable servings offered as well - larger portion sharable plates. We truly enjoyed our servers Felicity and Sam. The knowledge of beverage and food were top notch. The duck was amazing. Great desserts as well.“

Tried Canelle for the first time in Detroit, and this branch is just as nice. This spot has fresh pastries, good coffee (and an amazing Mocha), and a comforting overall ambiance. The Parisian influence is especially nice and the outdoor patio on a crisp summer/fall day is just so pleasant. I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re on the lookout for a neat coffee spot in Ann Arbor.“

“Spencer is truly something special. My partner and I try to get a reservation every month for date night, and it’s always the evening we look forward to the most. Every visit feels like a treat, the food is consistently incredible, the wine selection is magnificent, and the entire team is just the best. You can feel the care and passion in everything they do.

We’re also part of their wine club, which is one of our favorite things! Each year’s theme is so thoughtful and creative, and it’s clear how much love and attention goes into curating it. Spencer is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience that keeps getting better every time.

“Stopped in to kill some time waiting for a friend, and Holy cow was that the best choice of the night. Anne and Jasper were the most gracious, welcoming, and fun pair of bartenders I've had the honor of sitting with. The two hours I was there were filled with laughter, stories, and amazing conversation. Thank you both so much for the lively entertainment even when it was nowhere near expected of you. Keep up the AMAZING attitudes and the hospitality will come naturally. You're the best.“

“It is probably the closest restaurant to real german food I have had in Michigan ,we had a very nice lunch and the Weizen Bier was great, our Waitress Maiah was super nice and a pleasure to be around, we will definitely go back“

“It is such a beautiful and intimate space for a celebration. We used Vinology for a brunch reception and service was efficient, warm pastry was a highlight, and overall the venue was easy to work with and management responded immediately to any requests the week of the event.“

“This place is so so cute! My mom got the quinoa bowl and I got the vegan bug breakfast and everything was so delicious. We both had to take half our food home as leftovers cause it was so much food. The decor is so adorable and fun, the service was great, and I love that they have a ton of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options!“

“The pastries, pizza, and coffee here are always fantastic. The staff is quick and responsive but not particularly friendly. It looks very cool inside but it can be pretty cramped inside when busy. There is lots of space outdoors though and their outdoor seating is great!“
