“On Set. 19, I brought my 96-yr-old mom here for a drink and hors d'oeuvres. I had sent a note on the online reservation form that we would appreciate a quiet table. The receptionist had knowledge of the request without my saying anything, and immediately showed me three locations she thought would suit. I wish I had gotten her name, for management to commend her. (We arrived at 5:15, which should help you know to whom I refer.) We sat in a booth, and our server, Usama, made our nearly 3-hr (!) visit truly joyful and perfect! Again, management - please take note. We agreed that he was the best waiter either of us have ever had - attentive, fun and funny, and going the extra mile in tailoring our drinks to our (sweet-tooth!) tastes, and making us feel welcome and special. This was likely my mom's final "fancy" outing, and I am so grateful to Usama for making it perfect. Kudos also to the chefs. Our 3 dishes were superb - beef tips, shrimp, hummus.“

“B. Nektar is an absolute gem! I first tried Zombie Killer years ago at a random bar in Cleveland, then hunted it down at a liquor store near home in the Chicago/NW Indiana area. When it disappeared from shelves, I missed it every single day for about 3 years.

Now that we’ve moved to Toledo, we realized we’re just over an hour away from the taproom and I’m so glad we finally visited. The selection of beers, ciders, and meads is incredible. The vibes are super chill and fun, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. They really made the experience even better. On top of that, the taproom has a great selection of games, which made the hours fly by with friends; we didn’t even notice it was well past dinner time!

We stocked up to take home (can’t wait to share the durian one with family in Chicago), and honestly, this is the best brewery we’ve found since Phase Three back in Chicago. Nothing else has compared until B. Nektar. Can’t wait to come back!“

“MBTB is a local treasure! The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for a date night, friends getting together, or even stopping in by yourself! They have something for everyone and the service has always been amazing. I love the commitment to Michigan products from the wine to the snacks all the way to the merchandise. “Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.

“Kabin Kruser’s in downtown Rochester has a chill, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The nautical décor and cozy layout give it that classic oyster bar feel, even if you’re not here for the oysters.

The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. We tried a few dishes from the menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy evening.

Danny, our server, was newly back to work at Pronto and I've never seen a server work so hard to accommodate people and ensure we were well cared for. the entire staff and clientele were so kind and encouraging. I spent most of the meal examining the lighting fixtures (there are so many!!!), and our family searched for disco balls (also SO MANY!). The food was amazing and the service was fast. we took our 14 year old there for dinner because they needed to see that there are safe, public spaces for them - and the awe and amazement in their eyes the whole time told me that we found our new "regular" spot. the music was fun, the service was spectacular, and the entire vibe was just lovely. and as a lighting nerd, they play with light beautifully, even during a routine dinner service. to the staff at Pronto - particularly Danny - thank you. as a mom trying to figure out how to best parent a child who isn't like me, you gave me immeasurable gifts last night. you gave my child hope for a future as an adult. we love the local youth programming available but it lacks a connection to adults who are thriving and living full, beautiful lives. seeing that in action was everything our kid needed and so much more. thank you.“

For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

“Almost Cheers is a nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and try to learn everyone's names. The crowd is friendly and willing to converse. They've just started offering food again, though it's all deep-fried, but it's good for what it is. The manager is trying to make everything serviceable and the atmosphere less drab than some may find it currently, so I have good hopes for them for the future.“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“

I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well.
