“I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “I came to Michigan from NC to have a mini vacation with friends. We made plans to come here and had been looking forward to it for months. IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. The staff were very sweet and patient, answering all of our questions. 5 stars all the way!“

Never a rush!
Pancakes were our main focus and were delicious and tasty! Very fluffy, hot, and the best around.
We also had omelets and hit the spot. Each flavor was packed with the good stuff, and portions are big, so we had to take some home. 🤩
Can't forget to mention the coffee- bold and strong - perfect!! 😋

“Don’t let the run down appearance of this older shopping plaza dissuade you from checking it out. It’s not dirty, very chaotic. This reminds me of your typical bakery that you’d find in a city like Bangkok or Hong Kong. Once you cross that threshold the treasure box is displayed. The baked goods are great, decent prices, and different than a typical US or EU style bakery, however it leans closer to French. The baked goods here use non traditional ingredients, e.g. rice flour and render a different style which I personally recommend. Note the taste a clearly focused around the Asian taste palette. Try something different and might be as pleased as I. Lastly, I’ve never had anything stale and I’ve been going here for about 12 years now.“
