“I need to take a second here and give major kudos to the team at Panera in Bloomfield township, MI. So my family orders here a lot, my kids love the mac and cheese and I love carbs, so it’s a win-win. We had an order delivered a week or two ago and I happened to notice that the bread bowl (best part tbh) was missing. I called the store, they were very polite and offered to send a voucher in the mail to offset the cost and inconvenience. No problem, that’ll work. Fast forward to today and we ordered again. At the top of the bag was a huge box of cookies with the note, “Voucher already went out in the mail. Enjoy some cookies on us!” THAT is what customer service is all about. They not only remembered or had documented our missed item from the last order, they went above and beyond to proactively tell us that they appreciate us! I’m just unbelievably impressed and thought that whomever reads this should know that even when faced with an honest mistake, this team went above and beyond to impress and take great care of their customers. Great job and thanks again!“

The menu is simple and delicious. The staff was friendly and appreciative of our business. I really enjoyed the Spicy Mortadella. The bread was so fresh. This place offers sandwiches, salads, and tasty dips. The French Onion dip was yummy. They do cold brews and hot coffee also. I strongly recommend this place. Easy parking in Ferndale.“

“I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that in mind if you’re planning an early visit.

Overall, it was a wonderful birthday treat, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!“

I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “I came to Michigan from NC to have a mini vacation with friends. We made plans to come here and had been looking forward to it for months. IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. The staff were very sweet and patient, answering all of our questions. 5 stars all the way!“

WOW are we ever glad we did!! What a fantastic brunch!! The Belgian waffle with fresh fruit and whipped cream was incredible….and the meat lovers omelette was stellar too!! I personally think the novelty of it isn’t that bad. Sure, it’s not for everyone. Easy solution…stop complaining and don’t frequent. Plenty of others will.

The coffee is not bad, but is mediocre. I found the service to be great. At the end of the day, service is the single most important aspect of any business. I mean, your product can’t suck, but even if it’s mediocre (edible or drinkable), the service will be remembered more.“

“Had not been here for a salad in a long time. Their Chef Salad was just as good or better than I remembered. Lots of fresh tasty vegetables, meats cheese. “It’s pretty expensive but it’s for the convenience and the organic ingredients that you pay for. If you want mass produced products with high sugars and additives drive down Rochester road and find 10 every few miles.I will say my only gripe is that for the smoothies: I don’t like protein in them so when I see a $9.99 price it makes sense WITH protein for a smoothie - whenever I remove the protein I wish it would go down to at least $6.99 or $7.99.Their meals to go are usually what I buy most of. Super convenient.“

Everything else was single layer in the cart with the bar codes facing up for her convenience. But, after she scanned the cart full of items before us, she snapped at my husband. demanding everything be on the belt. This attitude was unprovoked, and not appreciated. And in the end created more work for not only us but herself while costing customers. I am not paying to deal with hostile employees. There are other warehouse stores like Costco & BJ's that would love and probably even appreciate our business.“
