“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. “We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. It’s so important to us to have safe places for our daughter to eat and have dessert. Would recommend iFreeze to anyone!“

“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. “This is a terrific little ice cream stand on the fringe of downtown Auburn Hills. They have a vast array of flavors, more so than most IC spots that are primarily soft serve places. We tried the Banana and we added chocolate chips for good measure. It was great. Of course, their classic varieties are also good. Our grandsons tried the chocolate and vanilla (with sprinkles, naturally), respectively, and were quite happy with their choices.

The service was friendly and efficient and their prices were very fair. They have some picnic tables on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It was an enjoyable experience and we'll look forward to our next chance to pay a visit.“

Is the size of some other ice cream shops larges if you’ve seen some of my other reviews, the only thing I will say to critique this place is I wish they had more than vanilla and chocolate and that they brought in their seasonal flavors all year around I understand that space can be an issue, but I bet they would make a lot more money if they had orange selling all year around.“

“I have lived over in Farmington Hills for almost a year. I love stopping by to get my Vernors cooler. The staff are always very polite and kind and they have fast service there too. One day I was purchasing something and the young lady gave me a gift card for their store just because, I thought that was such a beautiful gesture for the establishment to do that randomly. “Had an awesome experience at Pie Sci in Oakland Park. its hard to grab food on the go when its medically necessary to be gluten and dairy free. They do just that at Pie Sci! Picked up a pie to eat before the Tigers playoff game, game lost but Pizza was a home run!“

“After a rough day, we decided to lift our spirits with some ice cream and headed to Menchie’s.

The atmosphere was nice and inviting. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their treats, but it wasn’t busy at all.

I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie frozen yogurt, which is both gluten-free and vegan. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me—it was really sweet and lacked strong pineapple or coconut flavors. I ended up giving it to the kids. I was hoping it would be closer to the pineapple flavor they had before.

Even though that flavor wasn’t my favorite, I would still recommend Menchie’s! This location was friendlier than the last one I visited, they have a good selection, and lots of toppings to choose from. I also appreciate that they charge by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you want.“
