“They have a private room/garden which was absolutely perfect for my market/garden themed bridal shower. The staff and food were both absolutely top-tier. Attentive, thoughtful, and helpful. The venue had more linen options than I expected and it added an extra special touch. The space was fun to transform but unique enough that it doesn't need much. The deposit and minimum spending was reasonable.“

“Had a good experience at Sedona Taphouse in Troy. Our server was nice, although it took a little while to get our order in and for someone to check back with us. I ordered the Caribbean Crab Sandwich. It was tasty, but a little small for $18, so I was hoping for a bit more value for the price. The restaurant was also pretty noisy. The Cactus Lemonade was delicious, though—that was definitely a highlight! Parking is free, which was nice, even though I had to park toward the back. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would give it 4 stars.“

“We had a team building and dinner event for 14 colleagues at the Hub Stadium Auburn Hills. We had a great time. The buffet food was great, our server John was awesome, and the games were a lot of fun. Gracee helped me plan this event, she was very knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. Great staff and location!“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. We truly appreciate her as well the other staff who make this a GREAT place to be!“

“Good food, nice staff. I carried out and ordered the nachos, once. The beans and cheese were missing from the order, which was inconvenient but stuff happens. I didn't realize it till I got home. The staff took care of it and were professional and courteous. They made me a new batch and gave me extra sides for the order I took originally. So I ended up with 2 orders. They were both delicious! Lol... I will go back for sure.“

“Wish I would have taken pictures because our food looked much better than the others I'm seeing here. Even with a hair in the calamari... still the best I've ever had, once remade. Lobster tacos were fantastic! Mine were loaded with lobster. French dip was decent. Great specialty cocktails! Worth mostly every penny for the food. I will say it was being ran by a group of very young people... room for improvement in service but not bad by any means. Atmosphere is attractive!“

“Came here for a date night and it worked perfectly. The room has a warm glow and the cocktails were well crafted. The Bronzino was delicate and flaky. If I had to nitpick, the wings could have used a bit more heat, but the flavor was still great.“

“We are regulars at Stuffed Bun and can’t imagine not spending our Sunday morning with them. The food is always excellent and the staff make us feel like family. “I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“On my visit back to the ROB, I was looking forward to my Go To dish of Beef Stroganoff, only to find out it's no longer on the menu. What a bumper. So instead, I had the Shepard's Pie which was very delicious. Our server was Erin M. She did an excellent job of watching over and serving our needs as required. I request that she be acknowledged by higher authority for a job well done. Today's visit to the ROB was again a pleasant experience. Bring back the Beef Stroganoff and you will probably see me more. I need my Stroggy Fix. :)“

The five star rating is based primarily on the young man who was our cashier. His customer service was exemplary of what you want from customer facing employees. He was incredibly cordial and welcoming, informative and engaging. I sincerely hope that he is being groomed for management. The food was good for casual dining. The tenders over the fusion fries were very tender and tasty. The fries were perfectly crispy. Even while cleaning up our area and planning to leave, the young man was simply a joy. We continued to talk about his great service during our drive home. It's certainly made our day.“
