“This is a hidden gem, great choice of food, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The ladies serving at the bar are amazing, I always leave looking forward to my next visit.“

“The food is good, our waitress/server was great. However, I had a reservation for a birthday celebration and the hostess sat my party of 4 behind a wall, at a cold patio window in the back of the restaurant. The entire restaurant needs to be freshened up: the windows were dirty, the patio had "stuff" all over, the menus are very worn and the tables have scuff marks. The restaurant was full of people, seems to me there isn't any money going back into this establishment.“

“Overall enjoyed my experience here. Main issue I had was that we had a reservation and still had to wait quite a long time to be seated after we arrived. Food and service were both good. Had to park far away due to the restaurant being so busy as well.“

“We tried axe throwing on vacation several years ago. We saw The Hub while on I-75 and decided to stop by and do it again. Surprisingly, we were able to get a time slot pretty quickly. The coach, Josh, was absolutely fantastic and helpful. We had a blast. The food was great. We’ll definitely be back. Prices were reasonable and the building is spacious. Even being somewhat busy on a Saturday, it didn’t feel crowded.“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. We truly appreciate her as well the other staff who make this a GREAT place to be!“

“Food is delicious and online ordering is easy, time estimates are almost always spot on and you get a text when your food is ready. My favs include all the tacos, cilantro potatoes, even the rice and beans are really good. Guac and chips is good too, just small size of guac.“

“Took 2 friends to dinner to celebrate their birthdays. Server was very professional and let us enjoy our cocktails before we ordered appetizers, salad and main courses. One friend ordered sea bass, the other ordered lamb chops and I ordered a filet. My friends main courses were fine. Unfortunately my filet was ordered rare and came out raw. My server agreed and took the filet back to the kitchen. Second filet came out, and again the steak was raw. Third time the filet came out medium rare to medium. Server took back the filet and asked if I'd like to try again or something else. I said no and he said he would send the manager over. Manager asked what the problem was. He should have already spoken to the server to know and then just apologize for the problem. I told him I wasn't interested in another meal and just do what he thought was right. My filet was taken off the bill, but should have at least taken the second round of drinks of the bill.“

“We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

We were greeted warmly, they wished my wife happy birthday, and the entire experience only got better. Our server, Mikaela was outstanding—read the room like a pro, had perfect timing/pacing, was so kind and graceful—nailed it from cocktails to dessert. “I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“CK Diggs is an absolute gem near downtown Rochester! The food was amazing — everything we ordered was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We tried the boneless wings, nachos, quesadillas, Reuben sandwich, Southwest pasta, Cajun steak strips, pretzel bites, and Beijing beef — and every single dish was delicious.

The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and fast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner with friends.

The Cookie Monster and carrot was was beyond delicious.

“Awesome hot chicken restaurant. I only came here because I used to watch Houston Crosta's videos on Youtube. Didn't really like him but really just wanted to see what this place was like. It's really nicely decorated inside, nice atmosphere and everything. The employees were incredibly nice, and not in a forced way. I was worried because no one was in there at 1 PM. The sandwich I got impressed me. Probably legit one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I loved the seasoning, need to find out what's in it.
