My favorite part is the friends and family that keep this place busy and then everyone stays and eats at the provided sitting area. You will sit down with strangers and leave with new friends. This is a very old fashioned concept and a terrific example of community. This is a great break from modern society.“

“Tried it for the first time and it was amazing! I got medium heat and to me it was the perfect ratio of spice and flavor. Fries were amazingly seasoned and the mac and cheese was very good. My mozzarella sticks were hot so they had a nice cheese pull. All my food reheated nice as well. My boyfriend got the Dave's hot trio and he says it was so good. Would definitely come back!“

“My family and I visited this cute ice cream shop a couple of weeks ago. The ice cream was delicious! I got scoops of the Russian Latte 🤤 The staff were also very nice and friendly. I’m not sure the man’s name but he came out just to ask if we would like the umbrella on the table down because we had a spot right where the sun was beaming down. Very nice place.“

Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. “Grand Dad’s Bar does things right. Fast and friendly service, great food, and great prices. We had smash burgers, fries, and onion rings. “This was spectacular and totally unexpected for an airport restaurant. Service was fast and efficient, food was unreal. We got the pretzels to start, mac and cheese with pulled pork and beer cheese burger, everything was hot and delicious. Highly recommend!“

“First time trying Frank’s. My wife looked up places to try for good walleye and it came up so figured, why not? A little frustrating trying to find it initially, but we’re glad we did! Food was excellent. My wife had the walleye and said that it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. I had the catfish and loved it. Breading wasn’t heavy so you could taste the fish and the hush puppies were devoured quickly they were that good. All in all highly recommend and we’ll be back!“

“This place never disappoints. The homemade cakes are the best and every time I walk in, the owner asks me how pieces of cake do I want even before I sit down.

They are only open from 7am-3pm so get there before they close.“

“I went there for dinner today after a long week of work to start my birthday weekend! My birthday is tomorrow. I am handicapped and need a low table. The patio was the only low table. Next to a guy and his dog. There were 7 in all out there. It smelled like wet, nasty, dirty, need a bath, dog! I spent $42! On top of that, my waitress walked away after asking me if my Mahi Mahi tacos were made correctly and I said I clearly haven't bit into them yet, and after I asked her if she could smell wet dog. I never saw her again. Did I want another glass of wine? Was my food made correctly? I had to ask another waitress if she could grab my waitress and have her bring my bill and to go containers! Then my waitress comes and says I was just coming over. I said I never saw you since you brought my food! She again walked away! Niiiiiice customer service! Maybe she should think about another line of work! I have 38yrs of CSR experience! Maybe next time she will be worthy of a tip! She sure wasn't this time and I will not be going back to the non service dog patio or restaurant! Which is a shame as you make the Mahi Mahi tacos how I like, BJ's Brewhouse doesn't.“

“This place is always consistent and great. The service is good and you never have to wait a long time to get a table. I get the quesabirria tacos every time and they hit every time I go. I also tried the guacamole and it was delicious and the chips and salsa are always fresh. If you’re a Coke Zero or Coke fan it’s always so crispy and on point and hits the spot. I’ve been 3 times and definitely will be going back again. Sorry.. didn’t get pics of the food beforehand because I scarfed it down so fast lol“

“Kekos rebranded Hot n New The Corner Brunch House, went twice last week first week open. Sunday 1pm a full house had to wait ten minutes for a table, parking lot full. The words out full Brunch everyday open till 3pm. Super exciting new marvelous dishes and fancy Coffee menu. See photos of menu in my post. Got 2 of my favorite waitress still Amanda and Ms Z both always the best service 😄. First visit Chorizo n Cheese Omelette topped with Jalapenos with Bowl of Cheezy Grits and Pancakes only $11 for the win 😋💯. Sunday had 6 waitress on the floor, I happily waited for a booth. “This is our 2nd time here and we love it! We've been on a slow Sunday, and a busy Thursday evening. Two different experiences for sure, but each time the server was super personable and food was amazing.
The pizza is SO good! I'm from the east coast and it reminds me of pizza I had growing up...made by Italians! You can tell whoever created the menu loves food. The combinations of tastes in each dish are so satisfying and different from a lot of other places around. We definitely plan on returning a bunch!“

“We started off with the chicken wings they wer good. The chilli and lime shrimp was good. It does have some spice. Portion could be bigger. Could have a couple more shrimp or a little more rice. The burger was good. Squash was good plamento cheese does have some spice but I do like spice. Over all the flavor of everything was good.“

“My family and I had just returned from a long, exhausting flight, and we were not looking forward to a three hour layover. Upon hearing our growling stomachs, we decided to get a bite to eat, not knowing what would transpire. We found ourselves in a long line of hangry airport-goers and it was taking a lifetime. But the second Hamza stepped up to fill in, the line didn’t stand a chance. Hamza was a dream. He made me and my brother’s burritos lickety split and was incredibly friendly to us all. He cheered up our little brother who was having a bad day by calling him “King” (because his burrito was so full). I don’t know what else to say other than Hamzad changed my day for the better. He has inspired us in more ways than I expected. Even his humble smile and impeccable sense of duty—he gets the job done while making it fun. Hamza is a testament to the good in this world. Whenever I come back to Detroit International airport, my brothers and I will be the first to come to Qdoba, just to see him again. People like him give me hope for the seemingly bleak future. Kudos to the cashier as well he was pretty cool“

“I was there today having a very very bad day and the general manager a Miss Smith took my order. She was an absolute delight! I was telling her about the crappy world and she just was a very much of an inspiration to me .She asked me if I believed in God and I said yes and she says then don't worry God's got you and it made my whole demeanor change She was a fabulous wonderful person. Not to mention I heard her going to the restaurant asking customers how their food was if there was anything she could do. “I have been coming here for at least 20 years now. Even though I have moved to a different city I make a point to stop in every time I am down there. Chile cheese hamburger and chili cheese fries are the best. Recipe hasn't changed, prices are still very affordable and can't beat the service. Everyone most definitely needs to stop in and find out this hidden gem for themselves“
