“If you complain about the drinks, try other ones. Their drinks are too good. I literally cannot choose which is my favorite out of five of them. Everyone is quiet, not obnoxious, and respectful. The service is great. They make sure to always greet you and say goodbye when you leave. They always inform you if your drink needs stirring. They always show gratitude towards tips, and this also helps the atmosphere feel cozy and warm. I love the music playing in the background and how sometimes they even take song requests. 10/10 for everything.“

“If you are a Kpop fan and love with the Korean culture then this is the place for you! It’s one of the few places in Michigan where we Kpop fans can gather and connect with each other! I was just there and the cafe allowed Kpop fans of ASTRO to do a vigil memorial for the death of Moonbin! I wanted to do something to say my goodbyes to the artist and I seriously appreciated that they provided that space for people to do that and other Kpop events! “I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you. “Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

Especially given how busy they were. I recommend trying the Monte Cristo it was beyond my expectations. The chicken cordon bleu omelette was really good also.“

I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. “I came to Michigan from NC to have a mini vacation with friends. We made plans to come here and had been looking forward to it for months. IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. Ask for the specialty shakes like the chocolate covered strawberry or the mint chocolate chip ice cream (Both are delicious). I used to go to tropical smoothie but now this is the only place I go to for a healthy and sweet treat

Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan friendly, if you just tell the person making the shakes to make it vegan then they’ve got you!!
