“I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

“If you complain about the drinks, try other ones. Their drinks are too good. I literally cannot choose which is my favorite out of five of them. Everyone is quiet, not obnoxious, and respectful. The service is great. They make sure to always greet you and say goodbye when you leave. They always inform you if your drink needs stirring. They always show gratitude towards tips, and this also helps the atmosphere feel cozy and warm. Honestly seeing this place for the first time is a breath of fresh air. It’s like dining outside without the blaring sun, the bugs, and the wind blowing away your food. “Stopped by to order two drinks— lemon mint and honey avocado. The service was quick and we got the fresh drinks under 5 minutes. The lemon mint had a lot of fresh mint and was kind of like a slushee because of the amount of crushed ice and sugar. The honey avocado was smooth and definitely more filling. While we were waiting for the drinks, got a glimpse of the fresh fruits. All the fruits looked fine other than the strawberries which were covered with white mold. Would not recommend any of the strawberry drinks after seeing the strawberries.“

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

“I came to Michigan from NC to have a mini vacation with friends. We made plans to come here and had been looking forward to it for months. IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had one of the original Cloud Cakes (dressed up with Nutella and berries) a key lime cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. This is particularly frustrating because I drive from Florida to Michigan for a week during Christmas break every year and always make a point to stop by. It’s disappointing to arrive and find them closed, especially since their mobile ordering system still works.
