“This weekend we visited Detroit Fleat to check out their brunch, and I have to say it’s one of the most family-friendly and pet-friendly restaurants we’ve been to all summer. The restaurant has ample space for strollers and high chairs. The outdoor patio and kid play area are a huge plus — it allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal while our daughter had fun.

Our server, Marissa, was excellent — a true 10/10. Her patience, service, and attention to detail made the experience even better.

For food, we ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Nachos, Pancakes, and Mac and Cheese for our daughter. Everything was delicious — we’d give it all a 10/10, except the pancakes, which we’d rate a 7/10.

The ambiance was relaxed and laid-back, perfect for a weekend brunch. One small area for improvement is the host stand — when we first walked in, there was no greeter, and we only got seated after walking inside and being directed by staff behind the bar.

Overall, we loved the experience and especially the patio. We’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy more time outside with both family and friends.“

“Absolutely delicious and elegant food- worth every penny in my opinion. Loved the beet salad -chock full of golden yellow beets and dressed in a delicious and flavorful vinaigrette. I ordered the Vineyard chicken as my entree- delicious and moist chicken breast with a delicious smashed potato and cippolini onions, mushrooms and ca to go along with it, swimming in a velvety sauce. Loved and finished every last bite, it was that good! I haven't been able to say that about any nicer meal I've had lately. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back in the future. Drove here from the west side and I'm so glad we did!“

“I have gone to the Whitney every year for Christmas dinner. It was annual holidays to celebrate with my nieces. Last Christmas holiday we chose to take the buffet. I was extremely disappointed. All I wanted was prime rib. The server was not very friendly. She stared at me and I was very uncomfortable when I asked for the prime rib only. There was just a small end piece and she gave me a very thin slice close resembling lunch meat. I don’t understand since I paid for a complete meal and it wasn’t cheap. I could’ve gone somewhere else and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. The au jous was not warm, so that was very disappointing. I will never do the buffet again if it’s like last year. In previous years, I’ve attended the buffet and it was outstanding.“

“I am not a food critic. But I have the time while flying back home to reflect on dinner last night. The experience was so amazing that I had to leave a glowing review. I seldom take the time to do so.

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

“What a wonderful team, food, beer, cider! We are just so lucky to have had our daughters after wedding party here at Batch. Kimberly was a pleasure to work with during the planning and day of the event.
Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

There were 4 squares of squash, plenty of orzo and a bed of greens. The flavor with squash was great but there weren't many pieces of it to call that the flavor of the dish. It was more like cheesy orzo. The staff was great. I felt welcomed. I know the food here can be great, this time sorry.“

“What a wonderful place! The menu generally consists of Wagu burgers (flawless) stellar sandwiches, pizzas (perfect), dinner and side salads (big) soup, appetizers, and a couple of entrees. All of it is incredibly good. Be sure to try the Tempura Asparagus. It’s a favorite.

Service is provided by one or two people jetting around taking care of people, and they are always cheerful, accommodating, and mindful. The atmosphere is strictly “Cheers”. Lot of folks know each other, and we often see people we e seen before. No need to dress up or dress down, either. Come as you are.

The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“
