“I rarely feel I have proper justification to write positive reviews because I’m not one who is easily impressed. However, the Ferndale Jimmy John’s is a business I am very comfortable giving my endorsement to.
I’ve eaten at this location several times a week for over a year, and have never had a bad sandwich or my order messed up. I came to know the General Manager and quickly noticed how deeply she cares about delivering a quality product to the public. I once talked with a customer from Southfield who said she drove past seven other Jimmy John’s on her way to the Ferndale store.
The caliber of the food isn’t the only thing which separates this sub shop from others, though. Because the store is at the end of a strip mall, it has a plethora of glass, giving the dining area a brighter and more natural-feeling than the typical restaurant. Finally, the bathrooms are consistently clean and well-stocked, something that is by no means a given in public establishments.
Overall, Jimmy John’s Ferndale location is a cut above, the result of an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and experience. It has my highest recommendation.“

“I stopped by this Ferndale location because they’re open until 10 PM, and I’m so glad I did. The gentleman working tonight was quick, confirmed my order for accuracy, and had a genuinely kind attitude. After a recent negative experience at another location, this visit was a reminder that great service still exists. It was refreshing and greatly appreciated!“

“I have been coming to this Blimpie location for almost 15 years. It was my main place to eat on campus when I went to WSU, and I continue to eat here years later even after finishing my schooling. Not only because of the great halal subs, but because of the atmosphere and welcoming personality and hospitality of the owner and his son. I feel like I'm going to visit an old friend every time I come to sit and eat. I wish them the best always, and I hope to see them here for the years to come.“

“Friendly and fresh all in one bite! Cookies don't last more than 24 hours so they are always soft!
Vegetarian options: They offer veggie patties, a soup with no meat and unlimited fresh vegetables on every sub
Dietary restrictions: Staff is willing to change gloves, tools or anything else to prevent cross contamination from meat to veggies, fish to anything, ECT.
Parking: It's in a grocery store complex so there's parking everywhere
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly meals and staff are very tolerant.“

“Best steak sub/sammich ive had in a Loooong time. Easily rivals the best ive had from a Maryland philly steak place. So good I actually missed it 20 mins after I devoured it. "A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich. But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread. Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. It is akin to an incohesive mishmosh of colors on an artist's easel. Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever. ❤“
